About this house rental
This renovated four bedroom, two bath room terrace, is superbly located within walking distance to the Launceston General Hospital and the Charles Street cafe precinct.
The home offers all modern conveniences, whilst maintaining the properties heritage integrity.
All bedrooms have ample built-in wardrobes.
The fourth bedroom is either a study, with small desk or a fourth bedroom, with a double bed, along with wardrobe space.
The open plan kitchen and dining room, which opens out on to the private rear courtyard, is the perfect place to create gourmet delights made from local Tasmanian produce.
There is free off street parking at the rear of the property for one car. AND should you drive a Tesla, there's even a fast charger which charges at 50km's per hour!
If you jump in the car, you're only a short drive to some of Launceston andsurrounding areas local attractions. Cataract Gorge, Queen Victoria Museum, Boags Brewery, Utas Stadium, Harvest Market (on every Saturday morning). Drive a little further out of Launceston and you'll soon be in the famous Tamar Valley region, offering world class wine and food. Head in the other direction and you'll find yourself in the historic villages of Evandale or Longford.
There is a Smart TV in the lounge room only.
The courtyard is paved & fully fenced. It does not have a grassed area for your fur baby.
This property has approx. 20 stairs from ground floor living/kitchen, to upstairs, there is no lift.

Lots of space and rooms on several levels, modern kitchen. Very comfortable. Could maybe use TV’s in the bedrooms but a great place to stay when visiting Launceston.

Absolutely gorgeous building, if only the walls could talk! It was perfect for our two families, and we all really enjoyed our stay. The kids were highly amused by the cleverly hidden toilet/bathroom - a real WC!Nice & close to everything. Although close to the hospital, there was far less traffic noise at night (boguns doing blockies) than in the CBD.Kitchen & bathrooms were really clean, but the place is, to be honest, a little tired, and could do with a good spring clean. Carpets & lounge suite need a steam clean, the windows & sills need a wash, inside & out, and there were cobwebs over everything in the courtyard, including chairs & tables.Not really difficult improvements, but would make a world of difference to the guests' experience during their stay, and your reviews!

Our stay was very comfortable and we were so glad we could take our dog with us. We had everything we needed in the house and lots of shops and cafes within walking distance. Would recommend this accommodation for families.

A cosy, convenient house.
This house was very suitable for a multi-generation family group and located close to all amenities and the attractive streets and park. Heating was adequate for warmth throughout and the electric blankets were very welcome.
The kitchen was well equipped and the sitting room comfortable. The decor complements the style of the original terrace house. Although it is advertised as accommodating 8 people, it was disappointing that there was no linen provided for the sofa bed.

Lovely place but....
This terrace house is really well sited and well fitted out.
We were told we couldn't arrive before 3 pm and the house was freezing when we arrived. It took us over 24 hours to warm the place with a heat pump, a wall heater and a heater in the bedroom. The remaining heater, which was all we had to use in the lounge room, was quite inadequate and we had to sit uncomfortably with coats on the first night.
The cleaning bill of $140 for 2 people for 3 nights was ridiculously high and then another $30 for heaven knows what!
All in all - a good house, far too expensive and it's left a bad taste in our mouths (or in our poor cold bones). Please don't do this to anyone else!
