This villa easily sleeps 10 persons, including 2 hard-to-choose from master suits fit for a honeymoon. The fully equipped kitchen includes the most common seasoning and sauces, an oversized coffee maker with starter coffee- and tea packages, microwave, dishwasher, and full laundry with dryer. Separate breakfast and elegant formal dining areas. Complimentary villa-wide wifi and cable tv. Complimentary (local) telephone calls with villa-wide intercom service. Daily maid service is included for that hotel-like feeling. In-Home Chef cooking is available.

Although it states that the villa easily accommodates 10 persons. Prices are very competitive and are based on an occupancy of 10 adults. There is a surcharge for every adult over 12, children between the ages of 3 and 15 count as half an adult while babies under the age of 2 are free of any surcharge.

Fully air-conditioned, there is plenty of room around the villa for pull-out sofa's (provided at a surcharge). For smaller parties, the villa can also be rented in her 3 (main house only) or 4 bedroom version at even better pricing, so do inquire about that if your group is small. We never rent the spare suites independently, so you still keep your privacy when renting a smaller version of the villa.

The beach itself, the Palm Beach with its (South Beach) entertainment areas, is a safe 5min walk away featuring sizzling nightlife, bars, casinos, restaurants, cinemas, shopping malls, and high-end, high rise hotels with an abundance of beach activities. And, because all beaches in Aruba are public, one can set up camp on any beach, even in front of the Hyatt, Marriott, or the Ritz Carlton (beach chairs, towels, and coolers provided in the villa). Palm Beach, arguably one of the finest beaches in the world, has no beachside rental properties apart from the marquis hotels. Renting a villa in Palm Beach Village, just across the road to the beach and the touristic center of Aruba, is, therefore, your best alternative.

Having 5-star amenities, the Palm Beach Fortress is smack in the middle of it at a fraction of the price of the marquis hotels in front of her. Grocery- and liquor stores are just around the corner including most fast food franchises like McDonald's, Wendy's, KFC, and Domino's Pizza. It is close to everything and you will be hard-pressed to find a better location.

Palm Beach is arguably one of the best beaches in the world because it has no catch. Just crystal clear warm seawater and snow-white beaches. The best part is the safety: you can fall asleep for hours and still wake up to find your wallet or camera just where you left them.

The villa is associated with Aruba's premier wedding planner, so why not have a wedding here. Aruba's most famous Dive Master is also associated with the villa so you can plan some nifty dives or even get your internationally acknowledged PADI dive certificate in 5 days.

The owner, Dr. Riley, has lived in this villa for years and is a member at the prestigious Tierra del Sol 18-hole Robert Trent Jones designed championship golf course and can arrange hard-to-get T-times at member-guest prices. Many touristic outlets are close to the villa. Off-road quad trips, bicycle rentals, beach activities like catamaran sailing, deep-sea fishing, or simply some fun beach tennis.

Many prefer renting a villa like the Palm Beach Fortress over an expensive hotel because a hotel does not have the privacy a villa offers and is fivefold the price. And you keep the cool amenities and a lot more money in your pocket to do what you really came for; enjoying the island feeling, the beach and Aruba's year-round sunny weather (it rarely rains in Aruba and if it does, you don't have to get wet) cooled by the ever-present Passat winds.
