Fantastiskt läge i en fin liten by

Läget var fantastiskt. Lagom till 4:a personer och härligt med en balkong. Man behöver klara av att gå i trappor då lägenheten ligger på 4:e våningen utan hiss men klarar man det så är det inga problem.

Perfect location 👌

The location is perfect for the square, and the balcony view is iconic.

Alex was very helpful. Loved having the terrace.

7 flights if stairs. Accommodations on the 4th floor without a lift. Was not aware of this until arrival. 2nd bedroom was very uncomfortable. Kitchen was not well stocked. Gas stove needed to be turned on with a match, which there were none.

- shower doors needs to be repaired or replaced - lights in the corridor needs to be replaced as the lights are flickering

Wonderful location!

The location is wonderful and the apartment very comfortable although it is a fourth-floor walk-up.

Basic kitchen cleaning supplies missing and dishes dirty. For the price charged, it should be spotless!

Excellent location in the middle of Portofino town! lovely balcony to relax and big lounge area also!

Very top floor so lots of stairs but our host helped with the cases! The door handle was broken so it was difficult to lock the door when leaving.

Beautiful part of the world.

Very Central.

Not at thing. it’s on the 5th floor with no lift So it’s 64 steps up which may pose a challenge to some people. other that that it was perfect.

Great position but a little tired.

Location was excellent.

Property was very tired. Expensive, but everything is in Portofino. No good for people with mobility issues as 60 plus stairs up but that did give you a view.

Completely dissapointing

The location was excellent as expected but that is as far as it goes!! The description of this apartment is very misleading and I have a mass of messages I could share from the host about our dissatisfaction. He also admitted when he came to see us that the photos DO make the apartment look a lot better than it is as they are old and the bathroom is so awful that his own girlfriend wouldnt use it. He was very disinterested in our dissatisfaction, as he was so busy with his boat business in town he was in a hurry??? No customer service for those who have the confidence to confront thier deseption.

When we arrived it was clear the apartment had had a quick turnaround, the diswasher was full with no glasses or crockery in the cupboards, the apartment smelt stale and as though it hadnt had a good clean in a long time, never mind that morning. The floors were dirty, the walls badly marked and the whole place thoroughly unloved. The bathroom was disgusting(see pictures) not even any hand soap, and filth. You have to lift the shower screen to shut it as it wont slide any longer there is so much grime and mould. The toilet roll holder had fallen off the wall and the toilet brush was filthy. This isnt a €30 a night apartment in some back street b&b, this was €300+ and it was clear that although there had been a two year lockdown without visitors the host had laid on his laurels and not bothered with maintenance or to give it a lick of paint or a deep clean in many years. He said he knows the bathroom isnt good, he then told us that this is Portofino... things are old its different to anywhere else in Italy... seriously ? We have been all over Italy, Rome, Como, Garda, Florence, Venice, Pisa, Montepulciano, Assisi, Cortona, Sienna, Lucca, Rimini, Mikan...i could go on - and never been expected to endure such filth. We were promised a cleaner that night who didnt materialise, after chasing we were told as it was so late she would come the next day. The next day we placed a towel and shampoo strategically to see if they were moved, they werent and yet the host argued she had cleaned. Bleach has a distinctive smell, so we are not stupid. The description also states 'air conditioning' there is a small a.c unit in the lounge which is very old and doesnt make any difference, especially in 31 degrees!, a mobile a.c unit in the bedroom which you are expected to set up and leave a window open for the pipe ( i was told not to worry about mosquitoes "there arent many") The second bedroom has no a.c..

Exceptional

Location. excellent ! the place was immaculate. we were 4 adults and PortifinoVip welcomed and accomadated our requests as there was some misunderstanding with booking.com. they did not make much of the problem ! very helpful staff with smiles

although the stairs could be negative for many clients ; wheras we are fit and gym entusiasts & welcomed this only exercise we had in portofino! NB this is an apartment and not a hotel!
