Mirko ci ha accolto eccezionalmente dandoci tante informazioni su spiagge, ristoranti, attività. Molto disponibile e interessato a farci vivere una vacanza fuori dai soliti percorsi turistici.
La colazione è molto varia e curata. Sempre prodotti freschi, preparati giornalmente, vari e ottimi. Torte, tiramisù, pizzette, frittatine, pasticciotto, frutta, marmellate fatte in casa...per citare alcune prelibatezze...non mancano i classici.

Staff molto disponibile...
Pulizia "Maniacale" proprio come piace a me!
Meritereste 11 stelle!

Everything about L'ulivo e la stella is just great, a lot better then surrounding area, which looks a little bit abandoned and neglected.
But you will forget all when you enter here.
Great facility, pool and yard, very nice and helpful Mirko & girl from the pool bar.
Breakfast is also great.
Location too.
Nothing.

The facilities at l'Ulivo e la Stella are excellent. Main selling point is of course the superb swimming pool which was nice and quiet during our early seasonal stay. The room and bed we had were very comfortable.
Parking was free and plenty of space available, while the ability to drive up to the room terrace made unloading and loading of luggage quite easy.
The whole area is very nicely designed, especially with the beautiful Italian jasmin walkthrough area.
You do need a car though, as the property is located in the middle of agriculture land.
Porto Cesareo is within easy reach by car, so are some of Puglia's most beautiful beaches (e.g. Torre Lapillo and Punta Prosciutto)
Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Many nice and different cakes were available each day, but also fresh fruits, yoghurts, toasties and other items.
All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay.
The seating area in front of the room is nice, but when it rains, the water from the rain pipe flows onto the terrace.
We also experienced a toilet which did not flush very well, we often had to push the flush button 4 to 5 times to ultimately hear the reservoir re-fill again.

very clean, nice room, excellent breakfast, very comfortable and very quiet.
when we arrive the door was close, we have to call the number an a person came in 10 minutes to open it. They should ask to the guest what time they will arrive so they can be there at the right time.
we were disappointed because in the pictures we saw a bar at the pool and we we arrived the bar was closed - they said to us because it wasn't a good day (but it was 30 degrees and just a little bit windy) I think when the season its ending they just close the bar.

L'Ulivo et la Stella has a beautiful and very clean swimming pool. The rooms are extremely quiet. No noise whatsoever.
The entire place has a bit of camping feel to it. The breakfast (staff) is very nice, but breakfast is uninspiring and poor. Lots of cakes. Only two tables outdoors. Most people sit indoor. Why. There does not seem to be staff present at the facility all day long. We only saw a few people at breakfast, but for the rest the place was deserted, even if the rooms were occupied. It is set in the middle of farms, the grounds are well kept, but there literally is nothing in the vicinity. You have to drive to Porto Cesareo if you want to see something, eat or drink or buy something. The place also caters for outside guests who can come and sit at the swimming pool. During our stay there were none - nor any guests of the hotel either - but judging by the amount of chairs and the size of the parking, it can get quite busy around the pool. They even appear to have a bar by the pool, but it was not open when we were there (mid June)

I really cannot fault L'Ulivo e la Stella. Mirko and the team were SO accommodating and helpful, and they've built a beautiful hotel and space. The swimming pool is exceptional. I would highly recommend and will be returning!

L'Ulivo e la Stella is a delightful B&B and my wife and I had a very enjoyable, relaxing few days there.
The rooms were a 10/10 for us, spacious, immaculately clean, good lighting and generally speaking really considerately thought out. The en-suite had the best shower I've used - 3 different shower heads and enough room to swing a cat (important when you're 6'5"). Each room has it's own terrace space overlooking the peaceful and beautifully kept gardens, ideal for some evening drinks.
The breakfast offered pretty much everything you could want, and the ladies serving it were very warm and accommodating. We had an early flight home and they prepared the best packed-breakfast I've had.
The pool area was stunning and the infinity pool a real highlight. The grounds are very well looked after, the owners clearly put a lot of time, care and effort into their upkeep which didn’t go unnoticed and was much appreciated. The whole place carries a sense of luxury at an affordable price.
The B&B is located about 10 minutes from Porto Cesareo and within 10 to 20 minutes of several attractive beaches with crystal clear water. A car is essential but worth the expense.
The owners were helpful, and Mirko was kind enough to invite me to join him on a trip the gym. A top man indeed!
Would thoroughly recommend.

Amazing place, rooms perfectly clean, great pool, great staff, everything is new.
Very good breakfast, they serve everyday fresh fruit (watermelon, melon, peaches, apples...), homemade cakes, cheese and ham, eggs and bacon.
The property is located close to the cities of Lecce, Gallipoli and Otranto, as well as to fabulous beaches.
Absolutely recommended!
