Location was ok. Living and kitchen area roomy.
Very small bathroom with broken toilet seat which we reported to owner. Once again poor communication getting into place. Waited in the hot sun for the codes to get into the appartment. All uphill so be warned when you return each time. Wouldn’t suit anyone with hip. , knee or any other physical limitations.

Location. Cleanliness. Character of neighborhood.
This is not a hotel. It is a single apartment. It is a variation of an Airbnb. No in person staff. Whatsoever. Ever. Take my word for it, the savings is not worth it. This has been an organizational disaster. I somehow got succoured into this for all of my Portugal bookings. I had just assumed in good faith that traditional hotels did not exist in Portugal. They do. I have seen them everywhere. My guess is the “apartment rentals” people are young and techno-savvy, and have cracked the algorithmic code required to monopolize social media. Do not be manipulated. The peace of mind,
inherent in having an actual person at the end of your booking, who is physically present to help you 24/7, with or without internet/phone connection, cannot be overstated. As customers and hosts, we to expect more than this. Peace and Love.

Our host Joe was really helpful. The apartment was well equipped, we had everything we needed (kettle, coffee machine and washing machine). It was clean and enough for two people. Apartment is on the quite street, but you have to walk up the hill to get there (but this might be on lot of places in Lisboa :D so not points taken for this). We loved our stay and would recommend it to everyone. :)
We missed the AC a bit, but we kept the blinds down all day, so it was all right.
Pillows and bed were bit uncomfortable for both of us, that´s why we rated it as 8, otherwise all was great.

Great location in an authentic part of Lisbon with cobblestones and lovely shops and cafes around. The hosts left the most amazing bottle of wine and the facilities in the apartment for cooking and washing clothes were much appreciated. There was also a fan for the hot Lisbon nights!
This was totally fine for us but others might note that this is a really authentic Lisbon apartment which means steep stairs - that might be an issue for those with mobility issues carrying suitcases. But that’s normal for these lovely apartments with high ceilings! A few broken hangers and the bathroom bin, just need to be replaced ☺️

washer+dryer, great value, location
with no A/C it has to be hot in the apartment in July-August. But in early June we were fine.

The location is excellent, the facilities were great and the staff were very helpful when we needed help with things.

We felt very comfortable and we were close to everthing. I loved how bright the apartment was (last floor).
Location was great. But up a hill with lots of stairs or paved streets. Inside the building you have to climb some steep stairs.
Bright apartment, lots of windows, mirrors, quiet alley. Pillows were hard to our liking. Apartment must have been renovated recently: it is well furnished (coffee machine, fridge, washing machine...). The balcony is just an opening on patio doors.
Access to the apartment was all with codes so it was convenient (no "check in per say" but if you need info or help, no one is on site ( we didn't so it was not a problem). We had a few questions before our stay and they were responsive and accommodating.

The apartment is very stylish, comfortable and clean. It is located in the very center of Lisbon! The staff was very helpful and immediately provided the detailed instructions on how to get to the apartment and open the door. And there was also a welcoming bottle of wine :)
The stairs to the apartment are quite narrow and high and it was quite challenging to get there with the suitcases.

Close to Castelo Sao Jorge and Rossio Square. Plenty of places to eat close by.
Modern bathroom and kitchen. Good wifi connection.
Narrow staircase to get to second floor.

The apartment was tidy and clean. Located close to the central areas. The host was really helpful. For example, something as small as soap was missing when we arrived, I asked the host and it seems that it was forgotten. Of course, this wasn’t a big issue and we were planning to grab one on the way back to the apartment after our walk around. But later the same day we got a call that a soap is delivered and it was all good. Small things makes the difference :)

When I arrived at 7PM, the apartment was not cleaned! I had only one night in Lagos and that was ruined because of this. They took another 2 hours to clean the apartment. The apartment was on the 2nd floor and the staircase to get up there was extremely narrow and small to a point where I couldn't keep my whole foot on the step. When taking the luggage down I almost fell a few times. When I contacted the property they said they would refund a very small amount, as opposed to what I paid and for the trouble they put me through. It's been 7 weeks since I was there, and still haven't received a penny from them. Don't stay here, the location is quite dodgy as well.

Great location, close and central, walking distance to everything. Down a cute quiet lane with locals.
Loved the balcony, and river view!
Comfy sofa and spacious kitchen area for 2 people. TV with Netflix.
Had all the facilities needed in the kitchen.
Bed very comfortable, the best pillows!
Everything was so clean, bathroom spotless.
The loveliest, most helpful hosts!
Felt really homely and really enjoyed our stay here. I would recommend to anyone!
Nothing, everything was great!

- well equipped kitchen
- comfy bed
- nice shower
- very close to central attractions
- lively neighbourhood, also pretty noisy overall but we didn’t mind
- washing machine with drying function
- an iron would have been great especially considering the presence of the washing machine.
- main pillows too big & hard, we slept on the long one instead

The location was lovely, with old fashion buildings and historical neighborhood. Lovely people were living around very helpful and friendly. The apartment had all you need and was clean.

Very clean, and incredible location. If you'd like some workout, it's a place for you — it's on a hill and then you also need to climb the stairs. Feel free to eat all you want in Lisbon :) The check-in was smooth (all codes), and the place was very clean. The place is good for a one-person stay for sure, and for longer stays. I stayed in winter, and the heater+blanket combo was enough for me to warm up when needed.
The place was calm most of the time, but you could hear the neighbors or feel the vibration from them walking on the floor or the washing machine — to me, it added to the cozy vibe but can be meh for someone.
There's a washing machine, a small drying rack, and a drier mode in the machine itself.
At first, the window view seemed meh (you see other houses), but if you lay down on the sofa, or turn yourself on the balcony, it becomes much nicer. Bonus points for being able to walk naked from bathroom to the bedroom without being noticed by the neighbors!
The same things other people said - the stairs are very narrow, and tall, so it takes time and caution to climb them, especially with your luggage. There's an issue with the code at the entrance, my solution was to keep pressing the right button until it beeps (it significantly lags; at first I couldn't enter and the host had to call the neighbor to help).
And a minor thing — one of the neighbors from the house across sometimes smokes, and even through the closed windows and balcony you can get some smoke smell inside. It happened only a couple of times within a week of my stay, but if you're sensitive to smells, take caution.
There's also something wrong with the cover of the kettle and the host didn't do anything to fix it though I told them it's broken.

Great location on a quiet street in an atmospheric neighbourhood but just a few minutes walk from the metro, shops and Rossio station. The apartment is smart and well equipped, and has some nice views from the windows and balcony. Communications with the host were friendly and efficient. Arrangements for entry and departure were clear and straightforward.
The only issue we had that there weren't any instructions on how to control the heating system or some of the other equipment in the apartment. We looked it up online and managed to work it out but a folder with instructions would have been helpful. Also a cafetière or stove espresso maker would have been good as an alternative to the coffee making machine using pods, and we didn't like the bolster pillow on the bed, but these are small points - overall we were very happy with the apartment and would stay there again.

Superb location just 5 minutes away from Rossio Square. All furniture looked pretty new, simple but tasteful decor, kitchen had everything that was needed. We didn't need to use the heater at all. Having Netflix on the TV was a plus. The bottle of wine and biscuits on arrival were a lovely touch. The code system for entry was very convenient. There are a couple small convenience stores and takeaway restaurants just on the next street so you have everything you need on hand.
Some of the appliances were a bit battered. The stairs are very steep, not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. I wish the bedroom had blackout curtains or blinds. The bed was too hard for my taste. The code system downstairs is a but faulty at times and takes a few tries to get in.

The location is perfect, there are many local restaurants just around the apartment without being a noisy street. You also have a little market just at the corner. I went everywhere by foot, you are close to the city centre. The host was very helpful with all my questions and the apartment itself is lovely. Comfy bed, couch, there is a nice size fridge. I loved staying there and would definitely go back! Thank you Joao for a great stay!

Great location to explore the city. Small apartment but it has everything you need in it.
The internal stairs to the apartment are a little harrowing but I expect many apartments are similar in Lisbon.
