It was superb that I could see glacier form the window. Dishwasher was equipped. The bed was comfortable.
Very dark especially in the living room. They should change/update the lighting. The sofa was too sof, not comfortable.

Location is beautiful. Plenty of room and a nice bathroom.

We spent two very pleasant nights here. We originally planned to book something on the lake, but there were no vacancies, so instead of the lake view, we enjoyed the view of the glacier and the surrounding mountains. The location is perfect if you aim to hike to the glacier. You can start early in the morning or late in the evening and avoid the crowds when tens of buses arrive.
The double room and the bathroom were recently renovated and were clean, but there were no bed lights or sockets near the bed, so it was a little bit inconvenient.
It's a fully functioning farm, and it means fertilizing and not a very pleasant smell, so be prepared to keep the windows closed (something we expirienced, maybe it's rare?)

Great view of the glacier from the room.
Kitchen could be updated.

The location of this place was fantastic. Peaceful and located in a beautiful valley next to a glacier. House no. 1 even had views of the glacier from the bedroom. The cottage itself was clean, new and had a well equiped kitchen for our short stay.
The lady who checked us in was very unhappy that we didn't want to rent their bed sheets even though we had brought our own CLEAN UNUSED ones. She demanded to check our sheets during check in and reluctantly allowed us to use our own sheets. She said it is actually MANDATORY to rent sheets for the cottage. We were not aware of this because on booking.com, the sheets and towels are listed as extras. Which is why we brought our own in the first place, to avoid having to pay for them. So either they need to update their listing on booking to explicitly state that people can't bring their own sheets, or just include the price of the sheets to the rate they want to charge to avoid intimidating guests into renting their sheets!

You have a view of a glacier. It was spectacular! The food was excellent. The hiking was amazing! The facilities were clean and comfortable. Would definitely come back!

Cosy place! Had one of the best sleep and shower here
Could be individual case - but there seems to be miscommunication on our prebooked dinner , but it was settled on the spot nonetheless

We loved this place. It was on a nice little farm in a beautiful valley. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.
The only downside was the bedroom was in a loft area. You could not stand up. Would be a challenge for someone with limited mobility.

The location is out of this world.
The accommodation had not been cleaned from the last occupant. I had to change the bedding and towels and clean the bathroom. When the owner turned up 2 hours later she said there had been a misunderstanding between herself and her son who took my booking. The day before I arrived, I was informed the room would be ready and I could check in when I wanted.

Spacious house and amazing view of mountain. free wife
Quite far from town (25 km) from Olden

Such a delightful place to stay, cosy and warm and authentic. We loved staying here and wished that we had booked for a longer period as there was far more to do in terms of hiking than we had realised. So many homely touches which gave such attention to detail as to make our short stay very relaxing.

Where to start! The owner met us when we arrived at dinner time. We did not have any plans for dinner and miles from the nearest town. She offered to make a fish dinner for us (then breakfast the next morning). She was a such a gracious person! Amazing farm with well appointed large living roof cabins.
A railing on the stairs going up to the bed room spaces wold be nice.

Nature, a river, waterfalls, sheep, green everywhere. The Briksdalbre glacier is just a few minutes away by car. The breakfast was good and the hostess was friendly. Remember it's not a hotel. You either need to bring your own towels and sheets, or rent them in place.

I thought this place was beautiful on a low lying cloudy day, but the next morning the clouds lifted revealing breathtaking views of the region, including the glacier and several waterfalls. Farmhouse was beautiful and cosy, and breakfast was traditional and delicious. To top it off, the bed linen and towels were included!!!! Amazing stay and would come back.
The Farmhouse isn't the most noise proof, which wouldn't usually be an issue unless you get unlucky and end up with a family with crying kids downstairs. But it was still amazing.

It was a nice experience to live in Norwegian house with grass on the rooftop. If we had more time for sure we would stay much longer. The location is fabulous!

the interior design, you could tell a lot of love goes into this place. freshly picked flowers in a glass were a fantastic touch.
that we couldn’t stay longer.

Dinner was excellent and very reasonably priced. Great value. We also loved breakfast

Amazing place to stay with beautiful hikes just steps away.
breakfast was expensive for what you got.

great natural beauty and surroundings
staff was quite uncommitted. This contraption is run as a money making machine for its great natural surroundings near the glacier at the end of the beautiful valley. There is no personal note with these huts. It seems like a cheap lodge for hikers and large male groups of mountaineers perched into the loft. Smelly bathroom, run down furniture, rotten kitchen ware and many safety hazards inside. Heavily overpriced for what is offered.

Amazing personal and very nice location.
Good food as well. We recommend:)

this is my 3rd time at this hotel, really like this place. A quiet and peaceful place close to the glaciers. Cozy cabins few minutes from the mountain trails.
lot of woodworms ;( large, full and healthy......

Location is very close to briksdalsbreen glacier and kleivafossen waterfall. The cabin is comfortable, has AC and the toilet, even though is small, has the necessary amenities for an overnight stay.
There were hairs on the mattress, probably from a dog not sure. Also renting sheets and towels was very expensive (120 NOK per person), I stayed in other places and they charged a lot less.

The best homemade chocolate cake I had so far 😋 The shacks are quiet, suitable equipped and are offering a large relax / living room with fireplace and a large dining table. Ideal for cozy group evenings. The place is only small hikes away from Brendalsbreen or Briksdalsbre and close to a beautiful fjord.
The furniture is partially a little bit old.

Staff (or maybe they were the owners?) were super friendly and kind, the location is amazing and breakfast was great.
Our room was a bit small but other room in the same cabin were large. The shower was a bit small, too - but it did not matter as the overall stay was fantastic!

Excellent breakfast and dinner, wonderful host, and superb locations. Can't be beat.
All was positive.

Great location close by the glacier so you can enjoy the view from your room, abandoned cabin up in the mountain to chill, posibility to visit other Glacier located in the properity.
We had to pay extra for sheets
