Location is right in the centre of things. Wonderful view of the Tori gate and pagoda from the rooftop! The room was spacious and very comfortable and the staff were lovely every step of the way.

The staff were exceptional. They provided expert advice and assistance with everything from restaurant bookings to luggage transfers. The hotel is stunning with amazing views of the sea and Torii gate. We upgraded on the second day to a bigger room with a temple view and it was really worth it. The staff were so helpful in this regard. The restaurant was very good. The rooftop terrace was amazing with stunning views. The private bean bag rest areas were perfect for our teenagers to chill out. I would highly recommend this hotel. Miyajima is so beautiful with so much to see and do, and a great location for a day trip to Hiroshima.
We should have stayed longer!

The public bath was refreshing and the staff was very helpful. At check-in they gave us tickets for a sample momijimanju, a sort of waffle-like sweet with various fillings.

I liked all the terraces, book room, free beverages, and the onsen. I felt like I was getting a true Japanese ryokan experience. The front desk spoke just enough English (and had just enough English handouts) to explain everything.
The massage chair was heavenly but it wasnt clean. I thought the price was a little high for what we received. I still would highly recommend this ryokan.

The guy who greeted us at reception was very nice and professional!
We had some problems with the language sometimes, but using the automatic translator we were able to communicate without any problems!
I also explained to him that I had a small tattoo and if it was a problem for the hot spring, and he took care to bring me a covering plaster right after! ❤️
The air lounge is very nice where you can enjoy the panoramic terrace on the large Torii in the water.
We had dinner at the hotel restaurant/pub, and the food was very good, I also found a slightly more 'western' meal on the pub menu.
Breakfast is not "a buffet", it is prepared individually and you will find it on the table at a time that you choose on the day of arrival.
It's a traditional Japanese breakfast, and I understand its charm.
Unfortunately in my case I couldn't eat anything, so maybe I would add something sweet a buffet for those who don't like traditional Japanese breakfast.

Everything, the staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel was lovely, and our room was fantastic with tatami mats and futon beds! Everything felt like an event, and there were a lot of little things that made us smile, like the traditional Japanese sweet in the room. Then, you have the island which is beautiful at night, which you can enjoy while staying, as well as during the day.
You do have to leave in the end!

It was exceptional. Lovely place to stay, friendly staff and great location! Had a great time!

The traditional Japanese breakfast is a culinary experience but may not be suitable for everyone. It's 3 mins away from the Torii Gate and the Itsukushima Temple, and also from the dock. The rooms are tidy and clean.
Slightly overpriced for its overall value but understandably so, given its location and style. You're paying for the "traditional Japanese" deal.

The property is in a great, central location. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the amenities were very nice. The terrace is especially great and has an incredible view. They provided many Yukata choices and sizes, which was a pleasant surprise. They also had self-serve free drinks available!
We booked a room facing the mountain, which we expected to be better / bigger for the price we paid.

Location is good just next to the road, near the ferry terminal. There’s a small onsen, lounging and reading areas with drinks. Dinner was nice.
The property is a little tired looking. But that doesn’t affect the quality of stay.

Well located right by the ocean front in the middle of all attractions. Ryokan is well maintained and meals are good.
There were simply too many tourist and travelers congregating in such a small area.

Good location, nice lounges and excellent service.
Old bathroom. small public bath.

Lovely typical Japanese Ryokan where you can experience wearing typical dress and taste local delicacies. Excellent location and great professional staff who cannot do enough to make your stay memorable.
