These rooms are large, gorgeous, reasonably priced, and there is very good service. This is centrally located in the Medina. Staff were very helpful. It is a luxury property and historic.
There is a minibar, but there were no cork screws in the room so you had to trapse around a bit to get them. When you ask someone to bring you a cork screw it may take a while before they get to your room.

This place is new, spacious, gorgeous, beautiful architecture, convenient, great food and wine. Nice staff. Comfortable. Well located. The manager was a bit rude on one occasion — she could have handled a situation better and did not apologize. But we will be going back anyway! Was a great experience overall!
Stated above.

Not 5 Star staffers, the rooftop restaurant was horrible and the pool was outbid order

This is the most luxurious hotel I’ve stayed in. Such great facilities and staff. I truly enjoyed it!
A bit pricey for Tunisia but I think worth it!

Jeden z najlepszych hoteli, w których kiedykolwiek się zatrzymałem. Przepięknie odrestaurowany z dbałością o szczegóły typowe dla lokalnej architektury. Pokoje ogromne, ładnie urządzone i funkcjonalne.

Grateful for the impeccable service and warmth extended by the reception and restaurant staff at Dar El Jeld hotel.
The breakfast was lacked of variety, featuring the same limited choices each day.

The room was large and had a lovely bath.
The rooftop for drinks and dinner had a great view and good food.
The spa facilities were well kept - we did the hammam and massage which was great.
The food was slightly overpriced.
Breakfast was not included.
The swimming pool was closed.

Location wonderful on the upstairs terrace
I can’t think of any problem

Location
Service was slow especially at the rooftop restaurant. Lack of information at the check in. I asked several times for the Hammam and spa. They only gave me the prices of treatments. When I went down to see the Hammam, they mentioned that I needed to book at least 3 hours before using it

The property is stunning and the rooms are gracious and warm, like a home. The staff are super helpful and kind. They went above and beyond.

Very nice and friendly staff, always fresh fruit and amenities in the room.

Room was very spacious and clean.
Breakfast was not up to expectations. Many items did not seem to be fresh. Croissant was stale from previous day.

Hotel design is so artistic. The suite is exceptionally large, clean and beautiful that we do not want to leave our room.
We tried to call room service and reception at night but no one picked up the line. Buffet breakfast is just average.

Location is excellent, in the old town and next to the old market.. but very quiet and relaxing within the property.
Design and decor of the hotel is beautiful.
Breakfast was wonderful, omelette or crepe can be ordered.
Staff were all very courteous

the best location inside Medina old town. Large size suite , staff excellent,
The room rate should be lowered bit .

Beautiful and well maintained with traditional decor. You can feel it has a soul and looks spotless. Every corner is worth stopping and photographing. Restaurant team on the rooftop who spoke English (boy) was very welcoming and very excited to see us - this type of warm welcome we would expect from reception team.
Door on rooftop restaurant was excellent, we stayed 6 hours from lunch to dinner with our friends and enjoyed view, service and food very much. Will come back and recommend.
There is no parking nearby, coming with luggage is not easy as there are many building sites around and streets are chaotic and busy. But it has nothing to do with property itself of course, just to have in mind to plan arrival.
Team on arrival could be more welcoming and engaging, perhaps offer welcome drink. Also when showing the room there could be small tour done on the way to tell story of property and history as it is stunning building and decor and I am sure many would like to have more information.

The hotel is a beautiful jewelbox that mixes antique pieces and statement art with minimalism for a very luxurious and relaxing stay. Our room was huge and having 2 bathrooms was a real treat. The location is absolutely central to everything but on a quiet residential street. Rooftop restaurant offers amazing sunset views.
Shower didn’t have great drainage and flooded the bathroom a bit and the gastromoc restaurant was beautiful but the food was not as good as other places we tried

From the moment we arrived, we were immediately struck by the extraordinary interior architecture of the hotel. The blending of modern design elements with traditional aesthetics created a truly captivating ambiance. The fusion of sleek, contemporary touches and classic interior design elements added a unique charm to the overall atmosphere.

The hotel thoughtfully provided complimentary dates and snacks, which added a delightful touch to our experience. The spaciousness and luxurious ambiance of the room exceeded our expectations, providing a truly indulgent retreat.
The staff members were exceptional, consistently displaying attentiveness and going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their genuine care and dedication made us feel valued throughout our stay. Furthermore, the hotel exuded a relaxed and inviting atmosphere that allowed us to unwind and enjoy a truly tranquil experience. We appreciated how considerate and accommodating the staff were, making us feel genuinely cared for.
