Come and enjoy the tranquility the Island on Lake Travis has to offer. This is a beautifully furnished Villa with a beautiful wrap around balcony from where you can feed the deers and hear the birds chirping. The villa is decorated with only one thing in mind 'Relaxation'. The bedroom has a queen size bed with memory foam mattress and the large size bathroom also has a tub and standing shower. The kitchen in well equipped with stainless steel appliances and pots and pans and basic seasonings. The refrigerator has ice maker and basic condiments. The living room has 46' internet enabled TV with access to Netflix, Pandora and other internet apps. The villa is very close to the North pool and there is a amenity galore at the Island. Enjoy our two beautifully landscaped outdoor pools and hot tubs and an Indoor pool with hot tub and dry sauna. We have tennis courts on the property and a basketball hoop. There are three picnic areas with BBQ pits and a well equipped gym. We also have an onsite restaurant and spa (Open on weekends for limited hours) This makes the Island a perfect place for any season.
We have a two night minimum for weekends and will consider one night stay over the weekdays.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this condo at The Island in Lago Vista, and I can't say enough positive things about my experience. From the moment I booked the unit, the owner was incredibly accommodating and flexible, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. The condo itself was beautiful—well-maintained, tastefully decorated, and stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was clear that the owner put a lot of thought into creating a welcoming space. Everything in the unit worked perfectly, from the appliances to the Wi-Fi, making it easy to feel right at home. One of the best parts of the experience was the ease of access and parking. Checking in and out was a breeze, and there was always ample parking available, which made coming and going hassle-free. Overall, I highly recommend staying at this condo if you're looking for a relaxing getaway at The Island in Lago Vista. The owner truly went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic stay, and I can't wait to return!

The property was exceptional. We were disappointed that the coffee pot was broken, the linens were not high quality like you would expect with such nice property, ran out of paper towels with no extras, early morning noises like leaf blowers and dumpster people, barking dog and other amenities like shower caddy and bath rug were Dollar Tree quality.

Lovely property. The deer were so tame and walked right up to us, we brought a bag of carrots and hand-fed them which was a phenomenal experience. We enjoyed our stay at the pool and the restaurant on site was beyond delicious. The owner of the restaurant was incredibly friendly and I hope to come back here soon.

The community was beautiful and condo was perfect! It smelled nice, very clean and the kitchen was stocked with all the supplies you need (you bring your own food of course)! The patio was extra large with seating. We loved it and will definitely come back!

My daughter and I stayed here from Monday to Friday and we had an amazing time. The condo was very clean and was very cozy. The pool at the property is beautiful and clean. The week at the property was quiet (that’s how we like it) and people around were very well mannered. The balcony of the condo needs some TLC, but I still was able to enjoy beautiful mornings sitting there. It was easy to communicate with the owner. She’s very personable and attentive. Excellent host. The Lake view from the condo is small and partial but that’s because of the current drought. The lake as a whole is currently only 43% filled. I do recommend to stay at this property. We are planning to come back in the near future.

My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We are in Austin and wanted to get away for a few days without spending a lot of time travelling. This was about a 45 minute drive from home, but it felt like being somewhere else entirely. The condo had plenty of space for the two of us. It was clean and stocked with all the kitchen essentials for cooking. There was even some coffee for the Keurig. Do to the sustained drought there was no view of the water from the balcony. We did have a minor issue with a toilet tank water leak in the half bath the second day we were there. I cut off the water feed and contacted the host fia the VRBO app. It wasn't a problem because we still had full use of the master bath. Would definitely consider staying here again.

We enjoyed the atmosphere and the room was very comfortable. Hot tub was good in the inside pool area but the indoor pool was not clean. Too cold to swim outside. Loved the deer and nature environment!

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this rental. Peaceful with deer roaming around. Fed the deer carrots from the balcony. Wonderful memory foam bed, and the sofa had reclining options. Everything I needed was there, including a Kuerig. Jaya was awesome at communicating and providing info! Highly recommend this property!

The location is very beautiful and the deer are such an amazing surprise! Also the deadbolt made us feel so safe. Loved the food recommendations!!!! Loved the full kitchen with dishes and cookware. It’s a nice place and seeing the deers walking around freely is a plus. We just feel sad of seeing the water level going so low. The view from the pool is nice. We’ll definitely come back with friends and family. And will refer this place to our friends.

This was our first time in Austin and our stay was amazing. The property is just as pictured and spacious. This is the perfect location to relax. The host was super responsive and recommended a great hike trial which we throughly enjoyed . Check and and Check out was easy and efficient. We will be back in March or April. I plan to stay here again.

Despite the covid-19 crisis and numerous restrictions, this property offered breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. The condo was clean with all the necessities to cook. The balcony was very spacious to entertain my family for lunch. We purchased deer corn for the deer on the property and enjoyed them nightly. We even found a nice path to walk 3 miles a day. Property manager was attentive when I needed something. We will definitely stay here again.

Loved this condo and the modern decor and the kitchen was furnished with all the tools I needed to host a big family meal one night. Plenty of places for 9 guests to sit and eat for the meal I hosted and the balcony was larger than it looked like in the pictures with a lot more outdoor seating area. This condo and resort did not disappoint! I plan to rent it again next summer! Loved the landscaping and the pools that overlook Lake Travis, too.

The condo is quite nice along with the pool and spa area. The things I did not like : The boat ramp was not functional and there is no trailer parking. You should’ve told me about this because I told you I was taking a Jetske and asked about the ramp and parking. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and no TV in the bedroom. The kitchen needed a real coffee maker. You require us to take the garbage with us but we couldn’t find any dumpsters to get rid of it so we had to take the trash in our car home .

My husband and I stayed in this condo for six weeks! We found it comfortable, and it included everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Jaya was by far the best property manager we have ever had! She answered every need without question. She installed a grab bar in the shower for my safety. She purchased a new grill for our use, and was relentless about getting Netflix going after a change in the internet service. The amenities at the condo are good. There are outdoor pools and hot tubs, as well as an indoor pool and hot tub. There is a fitness room, although it is somewhat outdated. The condo itself has been updated. We enjoyed the restaurant on the premises! Great margaritas, wonderful brunch, and convenient location! Being on Lake Travis, the presence of the small deer, and the quiet location were all reasons we enjoyed the place! The balcony was great. The condo was built in the 80's, so it is not new. For that reason, I gave it 4 stars.

Already planning to come back in a couple of years. Close enough to Austin to enjoy it. But able to return to the island to enjoy the peace and quiet, the scenery, and the wildlife.
