GRACE COTTAGE is a well appointed Mountain Retreat, with attention paid to even the smallest detail to ensure your stay is as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Located in a quiet, sleepy residential avenue, away from the busy tourist area of Katoomba, this sanctuary is only a 5 minute drive to the Town Centre and all the attractions of this majestic World Heritage-listed area.
The fully self-contained accommodation has gas central heating throughout (including bathrooms) to keep you cozy and warm during the chilly months.
There are 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, Main with Bathtub, with 3rd Toilet in Laundry. The Cottage is equipped with WiFi, & Foxtel.

A Porta Cot and High chair are also available. Please advise if you require either of these.
A large well-equipped kitchen with all the necessary appliances, including dishwasher and microwave, also contains plenty of utensils, pots, pans, mixing/serving bowls as well as a Sunbeam Sandwich Press for a quick easy meal. Complimentary Twining's and Planet Organic teas are provided, also a Coffee Plunger & Robert Timm's plunger coffee, or a hot chocolate if you prefer.
Also long life milk and salt, pepper,& sugar are provided
There are informal dining areas throughout as well as a formal lounge and dining area, or use the Weber gas barbecue to enjoy a meal dining outside in the secure courtyard.
Spend time reflecting in the Australian Native garden, you may hear the kookaburras laughing in the gum trees, or pick some fresh herbs from the herb garden available for guests to use on this lovely 1/4 acre block. The large back garden is securely fenced and ideal for children to play.
On site EXERCISE STUDIO suitable for Yoga/Pilates/Stretching/Meditation equipped with Fit-ball, hand weights, resistance bands, mats and rollers.
Separate office with desk and office chair, library of books & some traditional board games.
Large light filled north facing sunroom to relax in with a coffee table book or magazine. There is a 40 inch LED TV - also FOXTEL (Cable) is installed, and you can unwind with a DVD from the library in the family room, on one of the reclining lounges. Or maybe enjoy a movie, at the United Cinema Complex, The Edge, Great Western Highway Katoomba, only a 5 minute drive away.
Laundry is fully equipped with washer and dryer, and an extra toilet, and there are ironing facilities available.

* Shopping in the famous Leura Mall & various local markets.
* Leura Garden Festival is the first week of October each year between
9.30 am - 4.30 pm daily.
* Spectacular lookouts just a short drive away,
* Blackheath, Leura, & Wentworth Falls golf courses are all within a short drive.
* Minnehaha Falls are close by & also there are many bush walks
* A visit to Jenolan Caves is a good day trip, about 1 1/4 hours drive
* Horse riding along the trails of the Megalong Valley and Hartley Valley, approximately
30 minute drive west along the Great Western Highway.
* Leura Toy & Railway Museum is around 10 minute drive
* Mount Tomah Botanic Gardens is approximately a 45minute drive
* Norman Lindsay Gallery about 30 minute drive to Springwood via The Great
Western Highway
* Echo Point, the Three Sisters, Scenic Railway & Skyway are all just a 10 minute drive.
* Wander down to Everglades in Leura or any of the other beautiful display gardens
* United Cinemas, The Edge, less than 5 minute drive - 225 Great Western Highway,
Katoomba. At the moment there are only 2 sessions, per day (7 days a week) 9.30 am
& 10.30 am, possibly only 1 session in School Holidays.
* Visit Katoomba galleries & Katoomba Cultural Centre and Café just 6 minute drive.
* Take a Trolley Bus tour that passes many of these attractions.
Unfortunately, Grace Cottage is not available for parties. Although the house is professionally cleaned it is expected that guests leave the property as they found it.
Any damages to the property will be charged to the guest - the property is inspected after each visit. No smoking is allowed at the Cottage and sorry, but no pets.

True to its description, this house was great for our family. With three separate living areas, an office and a gym room, it suited our family to the tee. Lots of space to spread out. The central heating was so good, we didn't need to turn on the electric blankets. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Very good just needed clearer access to TV to make it work for the IT challenged, glad wrap, kitchen paper, tissues n hooks behind bathroom doors and foot towels would have made d property excel. Great design, superb yard, very spacious n ever helpful host.

We loved this house! There were just the right beds for the 5 of us, with one couple and 3 singles. It was comfortable and spacious, and had everything we needed.
We cooked a beautiful dinner on our first night and ate at the dining room table. We enjoyed breakfasts at the kitchen table. We soaked in the sunlight at the table on the patio. We had a group meditation in the sunroom. We relaxed in the lounge room, did some computer work in the study... And we should have done yoga in the converted garage yoga studio, but we ran out of time!

The property is huge!!! Clean, pleasant-smelling, in a quiet location not to far from town. The central heating is fantastic during cold winter nights. Beds are comfortable, linen is clean crisp and new. The furnitire is also new and very comfortable. Couldn't find a fault! Highly recommend to anyone

Large family home in quiet area of Katoomba
The communication with the owner was terrific. The check in process was very easy. The home provided plenty of space for our needs and everything was available to make for a relaxing time away from home. The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean and with the gas central heating we didn’t notice the cold weather outside.

This big family home is located in a quiet area within a five minute drive to centre of Katoomba. It has a great heating system and everything you need for a comfortable stay. We stay here whenever we are visiting family and found it to be the best value and comfort around. Highly recommend

A very spacious and peaceful place
We really enjoyed our stay at Grace Cottage last week. It was very clean, quiet, comfortable and spacious place. It was warm with the Central gas heater on as it had been rainy and cold through the week in the mountains. The only suggestion is to have wifi that will be perfect.

Mountains Getaway
The house is in a quiet location only a few minutes drive from Katoomba town centre and Leura Village. The house was was appointed and met our expectations. The owner was really responsive and communicated well with us and we'd visit again.

Family get away
Grace cottage is a very spacious, clean and comfortable home located in a very quiet neighbourhood - check in/out was easy - the sun room, overlooking the gardens, was our favourite room - provision of a cot and high chair for our baby grandson was much appreciated - communication with Joanne was excellent, she would be the most efficient property owner I have ever dealt with. We really enjoyed our stay at Grace Cottage after not seeing family for so long due to lockdown. Highly recommend a stay at Grace Cottage.

Warm and Inviting
The property is perfect for families and larger groups. Spacious, warm and situated far enough away from the town to avoid the congestion.
Minniehaha Falls is a short drive from the house that offers great views and a great introduction to the walks and views of the Blue Mountains.

Excellent. Only downfall was shower screen in main bathroom. It needs replacing as you need to be very careful opening or closing it or it pops out. Regardless would stay again as property was extremely clean and owner very easy to contact. Lovely garden and courtyard. Central heating made the stay very comfortable.

Would definitely recommend, if you're looking for a place to stay in Katoomba at a reasonable price. The whole house has a sense of space and suited our needs to a tea. Property owner is an excellent communicator and pays attention to the little things that make your stay that extra special. Location is close to major attractions.

Beautiful quiet part of katoomba
This house was a pleasure to stay in and beautifully maintained. The owner was very thoughtful and considerate and I felt that she has a high standard of adhering to covid guidelines. The backyard was wonderful to relax in for a picnic after a bushwalk.

Very professional and friendly host. The house was spotless! We highly recommend it! Central heating was perfect! All bed are very comfortable. I think WIFI would be a great addition to the house but understand the cottage is a retreat and less digital work is better! .

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is really big, nice, comfortable and extremely clean. It was unexpectedly freezing weekend with +4 at the end of March. However the gas heating worked brilliantly and the whole house was toasty warm and cozy. This is one of the houses we wish to come back again. Thank you to the owners

Large and comfortable cottage
Me and my family had really good time here at Grace Cottage. The place was really big, bright and very clean. We felt very comfortable when we stayed there.
When we got in, we got a warm welcome from Joanne, some sweet treats and a lovely note.
We like the folder with all information about traveling in blue mountains area.
Overall, we had great time last weekends and thank you Joanne for warm hospitality.

Exactly what we were looking for !
Our family had a wonderful time at Grace Cottage it really is a home away from home in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood.
Joanne the owner of Grace Cottage is very lovely and was always there to answer any of our questions.
When we arrived at Grace Cottage there was a welcome package waiting for us on the kitchen bench which was very welcoming.
We would definitely go back to Grace Cottage in fact when we were leaving my 3 year old son said to me he was very sad that we were going home as he loved being on holidays and at the cottage.
It was really nice to visit Katoomba's attractions like the pie and candy shop but most of all our son loved dinosaur Valley which Scenic World had.

We had sucha great time at this immaculate house. Although the property it self wasn’t as new, it aas very clean. Howdver the wifi seemed to be very weak so it was hard to use. Joanne left us a nice gift which was very considerate! Thanks
