INQUIRIES:
If this place is booked, check out our other Lake House on the same lake, HomeAway # 4432849.
This spring fed lake is clear and excellent for fishing and water sports. We can package in a boat from Twin Lakes Boat Rental and have it delivered directly to our dock. We have kayaks and paddle boards for your pleasure, included. For playing in the water, we recommend going to
Twin Lakes and hitting the beach on Lake Mary or taking a boat to the Sand Bar on the south side of Lake Elizabeth.
Alpine Valley and Wilmot Skiing are minutes away for Apres Ski.
When you are not in the water, there are some woods to hike through, basketball, ping pong, corn hole and so much more. We have 3 televisions in the house with dish service and plenty of dvd movies to choose from. You are a 12 minute drive to Lake Geneva and 1 mile away from downtown Twin Lakes and my favorite Friday Fish Fry at Mad Dan's restaurant. On Wednesday's and Saturday's during the Summer, I recommend the Aquanuts water ski show at 6pm. We love it hear and know you will too!

The house on Lake Elizabeth was wonderful. We had a total of 12 family members join us for a mini-vacation. We rented a pontoon boat from Twin Lakes Boat Rental, which added to the fun. The house was very nice with plenty of room for all of us and plenty of extra "toys," such as bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, pool table, etc. Jeff was very responsive to my questions and he gave us good suggestions on things to do and places to visit.

Photos and description are misleading.
The home was not clean inside or out.
Outdoor furniture was broken and rusty.
Outdoor cushions were dirty and moldy.
The pier was not stable.
OVERALL VERY DISAPPOINTING

We spent a long weekend at this property in July. The communication with Jeff was excellent. He provided lots of information on things to do in the area, including the ski show which we enjoyed. We were also lucky enough to stay on a weekend where there were fireworks on the lake. We will definitely consider again for our annual family trip!

Jeff provided great communication and house well stocked with everything from paper towels to bath towels, games, fire wood, bug spray.... We felt welcomed before we arrived. The house is tucked away in a quiet space with plenty of room in the driveway for our 6 cars. It could probably fit a few more.
The beds were comfortable and there were extra pillows available along with extra sheets and towels. The deck was shaded and the Blackstone grill came with extra propane.
We really enjoyed the great room with the big couch and dining room table. Plenty of room to visit and move around freely.
We rented a pontoon boat that was delivered right up to his dock which was extremely convenient. The lake has a sandbar where we spent time in the water.
We had a great visit and would stay again.

We had a group of 16 young adults. There was plenty of space for all of us. The house was stocked with plenty of cooking utensils. And it is in a very pretty spot near the lake. And Jeff was super responsive giving us all of the information that we needed.

Great experience! This is a well maintained property and the owner is very available and helpful. We'll stay here again for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place. Jeff was a wonderful host, always going the extra mile. The only suggestion we have would be to mention the potential for noise from the neighboring property in the future. Despite that, we had a relaxing time and recommend it!

I wanted to give 4.5. The communication was excellent, the place was nice. We enjoyed kayaking. Overall the place was good. We stayed there for 2 nights. The only thing i wanted to mention was that the fridge was not working properly. But when i mentioned that to the owner, he let us use the other fridge that has his food. The owner said he is going to get someone to fix the fridge. If he get that fixed, i would give him 5/5.
PS: Somebody from my group forgot their glasses at the house. Jeff was kind enough to mail it back to us. Thanks Jeff

This is a great place for large groups. Numerous beds, lots of areas to hand out, pool table, ping pong table, outdoor area. Very well kept property. Would highly recommend.

I have provided detailed feedback to the owner about our recent stay at his lake house. He responded promptly and expressed commitment to making necessary adjustments. Here are a few things to note for future guests:
Refrigerator didn't cool enough, causing food spoilage. Owner allowed us to use his personal refrigerator, but it lacked space. Confirm issue is resolved before booking.
Don't be surprised if you see a note instructing you to take used garbage containers out to the street before checking out. Pushing loaded containers uphill was burdensome. I believe this task should be included in the cleaning fee.
Ensure the patio deck, outdoor furniture, and grill grates are clean if you're planning to use them. They weren't ready for us, and we ended up cleaning. The bug zapper was also broken.
Water had a strong rusty smell, a concern for children. Bottled water used for brushing teeth. Showering was unpleasant due to the smell.
Couldn't use fire pit or enjoy outdoor area due to mosquito attacks. Spraying environmentally safe mosquito control before guests arrive could help address this issue.
We believe this lake house has potential for a wonderful experience. Hope the owner seizes this opportunity to enhance future guests' stay.

We had nice time! Overall the location is clean.

From start to finish, this was an awful experience. The owner calls at all hours and doesn’t respect time zones. Even though a cleaning fee is paid at the time of booking, upon arrival, guests can expect to find a note telling them that they must remove all of the bedding, vacuum all of the carpets, wipe everything down, and walk trash a decent way to the dumpster. Carpet is dirty, another review mentioned this. The hot tub can hold 2 people. The biggest issue was that my cousin broke out in what could be either bed bug bites (owner admitted to only washing the sheets and not the comforters) or too much bromine in the hot tub.

The house was everything that we needed and plenty of room for everyone! We enjoyed the game room, the hot tub, the kitchen had everything a person needed and just a great family area for all of us.

The property was perfect for what we needed it for. The neighborhood was very safe. We had a great time and plan to return very soon.

Had a great stay. Jeff was very communicative, had a very nice time with our group of 17.

The house was perfect. Ample amount of space and beds to accommodate 11 adults.

We loved all the room! We had 11 of us and had more than enough comfortable and private sleeping areas. Three bathrooms were also very appreciated. The kids (mostly teenagers) loved the dorm-like situation in the basement away from the adults. The large kitchen was awesome for all the food prep, the cupboards could use a little reorganization but I’m sure that’s difficult to maintain with guests coming and going all the time. The kayak was put to good use daily for some evening fishing. Jeff was very helpful, accommodating and accessible. The house was well stocked with supplies (towels, paper products, blankets, soaps etc). I took one star off for the rusty water, which isn’t anyones fault. We just bought bottled water to drink and cook with. This lake home was a great place for our family gathering and would consider it again.

Sitting on the patio with a cup of coffee listening to the birds and savoring the view of Lake Elizabeth is my idea of heaven. Gave me peace and joy!
Everyone enjoyed the activities available- kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming and sitting in the hot tub.
A little disappointed in the cleanliness. Carpet is in need of shampooing, barbecue was not clean. Refrigerator was a headache-freezer worked fine but refrigerator section wasn’t cooling well. One of my mechanically gifted nephews was able to defrost it and get it working again, but something is wrong with the automatic defrost system and that needs more attention before others occupy the house.
On the whole though we enjoyed our time there. Thank you.

We had a relaxing 4 days with our kids and grandkids. Grandkids are younger so the water being away from the house was a blessing so we didn’t need to be concerned with them wondering to the lake. We would stay again if the opportunity comes again.

We all shared the house and cooked Thanksgiving dinner together. Great kitchen! Rustic and comfortable place with lovely views of the lake. TV was tricky but we found movies on a bunch of channels so that brought us into the holiday mood. We enjoyed our stay.

Our family enjoyed the large indoor and outdoor spaces. Well equipped. The water at the end of the dock is unfriendly. Deep with very thick sediment.

This was a family with all family members 20. 4 couples thinking there were 4 separate rooms. One room was the walk-in closet off the master bedroom, just a hair inconvenient. Although the property was on the official lake waterfront, it was reedy and mucky and not too terribly exciting. The house was beautiful, towels were plentiful. group area great. The door handles on the two bathrooms were shaky.

Jeff was great to work with! He Responded to my questions in a timely manor. House was beautiful and spacious! Visited the sites he recommended and had a blast! Daughter had her bachelorette party here and her fiancé booked it for his bachelor party! 5 stars! *****

House was nice and clean. The kitchen had all the tools, just bring food. My extended family enjoyed most of the amenities : the fire pit, grill, boating on the lake. Plenty of room for games and reading.

I had my bachelorette party at Jeff's place and I couldn't imagine a better place for it. The house is very large, and exactly like it's pictured in the listing. We loved cooking out, playing games in the garage, and renting a boat from Twin Lakes Boat Rental - they even water-taxied us across the lake to a bar! All because we were guests of the house.
If I ever have a big group again I'd love to go back.

This property is amazing! So much bigger then you expect and Jeff is amazing to work with. Happy, friendly, and accommodating. What more could you ask for in a host. Can't wait to try and stay in summer!

Generally all of us enjoyed our stay and would love to be there again, possibly in summer time for boating, cycling and more outdoor activities.

Spacious property on beautiful Lake Elizabeth. When we first arrived, the kids immediately made a bee line for the water and the kayaks. Found it best to launch the kayaks directly from the dock with the person in the boat and life preserver ready to go. Matthew stepped in and was in water up to his shoulders which shocked us all and I almost peed my pants laughing. (One of the top time parenting moments in my life!) All in all, it was an extremely successful stay and everyone involved had a great time. The house is well designed to accommodate all ages. There was plenty of space in the refrigerator. Kitchen could use more dish towels as due to Covid, we all seem to be using towels and cleaning more often. Loved the island for serving food to a large group and there were so many fun and colorful dishes, plates, and bowls to choose from. The gas grill was a hit with the guys as well. Long dining room table for all the teenagers to dine at, the smaller table in the separate room facing the water turned out to be the breakfast table. My husband and I even sat there after feeding all of the children and had our own romantic lake side dinner later in the evening. Bedrooms were comfortable. We pulled fans from the linen closets and found an abundant amount of towels. My only recommendation is that the comforter in the master bedroom be changed. The material was rough. It is also recommended that a spring/summer comforter be chosen as well as a winter/fall one. We seriously used every bed in the house except for one as there were 14 of us in total. And my husband who is a bath guy totally enjoyed the soaking tub in the master bath. The basement was a kids playground. It was private enough for them as teens and accessible enough for the chaperones to keep tabs on them. Several of the girls used the upstairs power room to brush their teeth...the house was so easy to be in!! Outdoors, the boys played basketball and skateboarded down the long driveway making several awesome Tik Tok worthy videos. Water noodles were hauled down to the rented boat (best decision of my life to have the boat for a day!). We also used the wake and knee boards on the boat. I brought my own bag of water guns, spraying devices, balls that we played with in the water so the combination of Jeff Master's equipment and my own was fabulous. Two of the boys fished from the paddle board and catch bass which the released. Will definitely return next year! Thanks

The house accommodated our extended family of 20 people with beds to spare. The house has plenty of gathering areas both inside and outside which makes it great for a large group. The garage has darts, air hockey and bikes that we could ride. There is a ninja course outside that the kids loved and a ping pong table in the basement. I strongly recommend renting a boat if you want to spend time on the water since the pier is in some mucky water. We were able to use the boat to dock about 300 feet from the pier to swim on a sandbar. There are also kayaks and a stand up paddle board that we used to get out to the sand bar. The owner, Jeff, was very responsive and accommodating. If headed to Twin Lakes for a large group get together, I recommend this house. Jeff will tell you advance, but there isn’t WiFi so you can truly enjoy a weekend away!
