Had a lovely 3-night stay. Unit was clean. Quiet at night. Comfy beds and pillows. Beach chairs and towels as promised. Enjoyed the local magazines and the 80s & 90s trivia. Would rent again if we came back to Key Biscayne.

This property was the perfect size for my husband and I. Beach access was great! You could even sit in the shade if preferred. Very walkable area.
My only negative feedback would be the grounds could be better kept up. And the pool needed to be cleaned or vacuumed.

This place was the perfect little spot. Was less than a 2 minute walk from the grocery store, 5 from the beach, and 5 min drive to state park beach. The pictures had me a little nervous but it was better than it was picture. The couch pulled out into a bed, was thinner typical couch bed. The twin was great and the king bed was as well. We fit 5 adults with ease and the full kitchen was great. They didn’t have pictures of that so was nervous about not having all appliances but it had a coffee maker, fridge, microwave, water kettle, toaster, and plenty of bowls, cups, plates, etc. It also had AC and there was a key for a laundry mat in the building, however we did not use it. There is a large closet also not pictured. Bathroom was a little bit small but was not a problem at all. Check in was super easy, just a pin pad lock that they provide # for prior to your arrival. Could not have been happier with this find!

The apartment and its decor were lovely - as in the pictures. The location is near the beach and walking distance to stores and restaurants. The owner was very responsive.

We really enjoyed this apartment! Loved being so close to the beach and having room for 4 people. Nice shower and kitchen. Walk to grocery and cafes. Great unit!

Although it was small, it was almost all we needed for a pleasant beach vacation. The location was extremely convenient! It was a quick 10 minute walk to the semi-private beach. Winn-Dixie was less than a 3 minute walk from the condo which was super convenient for grocery shopping! There were several restaurants close by if you would prefer to not make meals at "home." (I highly recommend Mestizo in the Winn-Dixie parking lot. AMAZING!) It was about a 20 minute drive to get to downtown Miami and about half of that drive was across the beautiful causeways. The only real critique is that the beds could use better/more pillows, but overall they were comfy and did the job. The on-site paid laundry was better than nothing, but they were super small and couldn't do much in each load ($1.50 paid via coin or app). Make sure to bring extra towels if you don't want to do laundry mid-trip!

The location was great. Key Biscayne is a wonderful island and the location of this VRBO is great. The condition of the VRBO is not at all what we expected. The place was not clean. Dust caked up in the vents, on the fire alarms, pictures, etc. The floors definitely could have used a deep clean before we arrived. The bathroom window screen is broken so bugs get in all day and night. Very disappointed in the condition of the place. We brought our two young children with us and this was not the environment for them. VRBO was extremely hard to get a hold of, and unresponsive most of our trip. Would not book again.

We came for a quick get-away and the place was just what we were looking for, and in close proximity to the events that brought us down for the weekend. Thank you!

We love Key Biscayne. Our typical rental was not available, so we chose this one for our five night New Year’s Eve stay. It was a little basic, but did the job. We never heard from the owner/manager. Not sure if it was a language barrier or it’s the way they do things. For a first time visitor, some information about KB and the private beach club would be nice. We have been there before so we knew what the key meant and how to get there. Apartment was EXTREMELY clean, which is most important. Bed was very comfortable and shower was nice. Beach chairs are broken- we used once and they are badly rusted and need replacement.
We enjoyed our stay very much and would not hesitate to book again. Thank you for the wonderful way to ring in the New Year.

We enjoyed our stay wish we could have stayed longer but it's okay! We had so much fun at the ocean and just being in the warm weather!!

Good location but the garage flooded and ruined our rental car. We had to wait over 4 hrs for a tow truck and basically this ruined our day out of our 3 day vacation

Nice and cozy
Great small apt with kitchen and dining.. close to shops and restaurants. Nice bathroom n bed. Needs some updating.. one TV cable didn’t work and fan in bedroom noisy. Nice beach and great for short holiday.

The good: The location was great. Only a couple minute walk to a strip mall with grocery store across the main road. About 10 minute walk to the beach. Owner was very nice and accommodated us when we asked for an umbrella when it wasn't found in the closet (was promised in the listing). The condo/apartment was clean inside and most of the furniture (besides listed below) was in good shape.
The bad: Unfortunately there were MANY broken or barely functional items inside including:
- Vinyl façade on kitchen cabinets is peeling off
- The lights on the ceiling fan in the bedroom are literally hanging by their wires (SAFETY HAZARD) and running the fan at anything but low speed causes it to shake violently, making the pull strings smack against the flopping lights. Even moving the strings, we did not feel comfortable raising the fan speed because of the dangling light fixtures.
- The fan mentioned above is desired because the air conditioning struggles to keep up with the heat (rather, does not keep up during the day) and the bedroom is significantly warmer than the rest of the apartment. We found that the output vent in the bedroom is literally blowing the cold air right out the bedroom door and could not be adjusted (stationary vent vanes). Closing the door at night in an attempt to keep the cold air in the room helped slightly but it really needs a directional vent and perhaps another duct to keep the bedroom cool.
- The toilet has an internal leak and as such ran constantly.
- The toilet paper holder could barely hold a roll without turning downwards causing the roll to fall. We were constantly pulling it back in position.
- The provided beach chairs are ready for the dumpster. Out of 4, two of them are children's chairs, and one of them is bent up and unusable. None had carrying straps of any kind which made the 10 minute walk to the beach strenuous. Some new beach chairs with backpack straps would be wonderful here. The beach umbrella was missing but the owner promptly had one sent to the room.
- The cable TV in the bedroom was not working.
- The pool outside was dirty. We decided to not use it because of that and instead visited our friends' (much nicer) pool at their rental down the street (similar apartment complex).
All in all we did enjoy our stay but were frustrated with the amount of broken or dysfunctional items and would look elsewhere if/when we return to Key Biscayne.

Enjoyed our stay it was a clean simple apartment with all the basic things that you need in the kitchen. You do have to walk about three blocks to the beach. And there is no view from the Apartment except for the parking lot. But we spent very little time in the apartment because we were there to do other things like go to the beach and go into Miami and so forth. Just FYI you do have to pay I think it’s around three bucks every time you cross the bridge to get on key Biscayne From Miami. I did really love the location as far as in walking distance to the grocery store and to some great places to eat. It’s a very chill key not really any nightlife entertainment that we found but nice restaurants and a beautiful beach.

The area is beautiful with lots of things to do within walking distance or a short drive. The apartment worked well for our short stay...clean, great location, beach access, affordable. The space is on the smaller side if you have 4 people like we did, and person #3 and #4 may have to settle for cold showers :). But there is also ample drawer and closet space for everyone's stuff, everyone had a spot to sleep, and the kitchen had what we needed to make breakfast or lunch before heading out to enjoy what the area had to offer. We had a little confusion over how to get to the beach access and how to use the electric key, but the property manager was immediately responsive when we contacted her and it all got sorted out. Overall, we were happy with our experience and would recommend this rental.

I would rate this place at zero if there was an option to do so. Customer service and customer relations are beyond horrible. The instructions given by owner were missing street name in the adress; when we finally got there the apartment was locked up. We had to make phone calls to get apartment opened. The person on-site doesn’t speak any English, so if you don’t speak any Spanish - good luck. When the apartment was opened it was a complete mess: sheets and blankets everywhere, nothing cleaned up. Our check in time was at 4, we couldn’t get into the apartment till close to 7. I contacted the owner and requested cleaning fee refund. The owner refused to provide either apology or a refund .

Key Biscayne is an island paradise and this was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay while in town. Short walk to the beach and close to all the shops, restaurants and the only grocery store on the island. Very seamless check in/out process and the apartment is well equipped. Our dog loved it too! We will be back.

Excellent
We came to key Biscayne for a family birthday celebration. The rental was sparkly clean and very comfortable, safe, convenient and nice. We didn’t get to enjoy the pool this trip, but will definitely stay here again next time. The owner was easy to communicate with, and everything worked well. Thanks so much.

Great location, nice value unit, pool was closed and laundry facilities out of order, still a great value

Very nice apartment for family
The apartment is small-ish (one bedroom) but with a pullout double bed and a single sofa/bed in the living room, so can easily accomodate a family of four. Everything was very clean on check in and the shower is good.
The kitchen is fairly well equipped (cooker, fridge, utensils, crockery) and the aprtment is very close to the local supermarket, so ideal for picking up supplies.
The neighbourhood itself is great, the apartment is about 10 minutes walk away from the beacj (private beach) and a short drive (5-10 minutes) from the Crandon and Bill Baggs national parks and Virginia key beaches, all with their own unique characteristics. It;s then a short drive to downtown Miami/Miami beach.
If you're looking for a relaxing break close by to Miami and the Everglades the apartment is ideal.

Relaxing in KB
The location is phenomenal. Right across the street from Winn Dixie and a block from CVS. Loads of restaurants within walking distance. Loved of private beach access she had. The condo unit is in an older building but the condo has been updated very nicely. Maria was really easy to work with. Loved the Key Biscayne area as it seems worlds apart from the mess of Miami but is only 10 minutes to get there. KB is a much slower and safe area. If you are into biking this is the island to do that.
