Prachtige ligging, heerlijk ontbijt.

Repas excellent. Très bons vins. Chambre confortable et propre. Je recommande et je reviendrai !!!!

The area and chateau itself was amazing, and the staff were fantastic - super nice and make you feel at home for your stay.
A 'budget' menu for young travellers like me and my friends would have been a nice touch ;)

The Castle (Chateau) property is amazing experince worth to be explored fully duirng the stay inclduing the common areas, the swimming pool, jacuzzi, bar etc. The breakfast was of large variety and delicious. We took the library suit which had a very nice bathroom and views over the hill. During the Huly 21st nationla holiday in belgium the 6 course dinner was amazing!
Some more amenities could be added to the room like: 1) Extra towel for the floor since waters spills outside while taking the bath, 2) Extra toileteries (we had to ask for missing soap and shower gel), 3) Window blinders (duirng summer it gets bright very early!), 4) A proper mirror above the wash basin in the bathroom. 5) A bar in the bathroom to hang wet towels.

Everything but most of all the feeling of being guests in a very stylish small manor house. Diolch yn fawr iawn!
Nothing to report.

Mattress very comfortable, nice surroundings, personnel with a smile, jacuzzi available and included. Breakfast with many choices.
Room did not have everything that booking advert showed, as extra towels for the swimming pool and coffe machine. One of the bath towel actually included in the room services was dirty, but they changed it promptly once reported. Personnel greeted us with a smile and tried their best to help when required, however there were several incomprehension as it wasn't always possible to speak with someone who could speak English. Nobody offered to show us around the property nor mention anything about the castle history. The outside of the castle seems not to belong to the hotel and it's left almost degrading, which takes away the beauty and feeling that one would expect if we look at the actual pics posted in the listing. The swimming pool did not looked cleaned; there was a yellow substance coming up from the bottom that would dissolve at touch, but did not look healthy. Jacuzzi was available but shared with all guests, which is ok (it just needs to be made clear in the advert as it said that it could.be booked for private use). The sauna was there but personnel should explain how it works and add a shower next to it (during our stay nobody used it). It would have been nice to have a list of drinks but there wasn't one and even when requested to mention the price of wines etc, they couldn't give us an answer (it was mentioned that maybe online, but there wasn't anything available). Eating at the restaurant could be quite expensive and a menu should be given to guests at their arrival so that if they have questions or anything, eventual doubts can be solved before deciding if to actual book a table or not (reservation is requested up to 24h before as apparently there is much capacity). Overall it's not that the hotel is bad, but they should advertising it differently and for the price they ask, it ends up not to live up to the standard.

could use extra plugs in the room but that’s really the only suggestion to make it all perfect ;)

Nothing, amazing stay all around

Breakfast was fine and the surrounding area is beautiful. We can not comment on the pool etc. since we were there in the winter.
The junior suite said in the description that it has a sofa, private entrance and seating area. However, this seating area is a communal area right outside of the room. I dont know what they mean w private entrance since every hotel room has to have a door! Because the seating room is accessible to everybody you do get noise and in our case even somebody trying to enter our room at the middle of the night. I dont think it is right to advertise it this way since it is clearly false! We did mention this at the hotel itself and were told that you can misinterpret but it did not actually say it is included (yes it does!). So you dont get the experience this suite describes.

The splendid location in the middle of nature. Swimming pool. Glamping tents. Excellent food & wine. Friendly contacts with owner and employees. Beautiful hiking and cycling possibilities. Zen-atmosphere. Very clean.
Breakfast was crowded. Not enough tables.
4.3
Authentic location with an amazing outdoor area (pool, sauna, tennis court). Dinner is prepared by a superb chef using local ingredients. Wines and fantastic. Breakfast is relaxed with plenty of choice of products and is very well organised. If you're looking for a break away for a long weekend in the Ardennes or a location for a larger group, this is the place to go.
Place is still somewhat under construction. Needs time to integrate the other buildings on this site.

Very nicely refurbished castle. Lovely room with beautiful view. Very good service and wonderful breakfast. Competitive prices.
Everything was perfect.

amazing place surrounded by nature.

Very stylish interior: mix of antique old furniture with expensive and modern. Friendly stuff, awesome food at the restaurant.
We thought, that our room is equipped with bathtub as it was on the photo, but it isn’t.
