About this house rental
This Gorgeous single family home features vaulted ceilings, spacious bedrooms, with flat screen TVs all with Netflix and full YouTube TV, three large bathrooms, a chef’s kitchen with granite counter tops and high-end appliances, two large refrigerators, a wine captain, a laundry room with washer and dryer, central AC throughout, ceiling fans in every room. The Maximum number of adults allowed on the property at any given time is 8.
Step outside and you will find an extra-large outdoor covered patio with a huge five burner BBQ Grill, a 60” Flat Screen TV, and plenty of outdoor seating.
Beyond the large outdoor patio, you can’t help but be memorized by the crystal blue water of the sparkling pool and spa and then once more by the open waters of beautiful Lake Conroe, just beyond.
Beyond the pool, you will find a large grassy area, a spacious lakefront and a single slip dock. Walden provides 2 launch ramps as well as tennis courts, and a high end restaurant at the yacht club.
The spa is heated and can be controlled. The pool requires prior authorization to heat and a deposit to be heated.
Please understand that our property is located in a quiet community in Walden and that we are quite close to our neighbors. That being said, we adhere to a strict 10pm -8am quiet hours outside of our property. Loitering in front and around the property is strictly prohibited. If you need to smoke, please do so outside, on the back deck or near the boat dock and please discard your cigarette butts immediately after. This ensures that we keep your visit free of any interruptions.
Should you violate these rules, there is a zero tolerance policy that will be executed and will result in an immediate removal from the property, without refund.
Maximum number of guests allowed on the property at any given time is 12 including children. The Maximum number of adults allowed on the property at any given time is 8.
Street parking is prohibited. The driveway is very large and can accommodate any vehicles present on the property. Only park in the driveway and/or the garage at any given time.
The owners have a severe animal dander allergy and any animals brought on the property could cause owner to have a severe allergic reaction when on the property.

We had a great time spending time with our family. Very quiet cove, lovely neighborhood. House was very clean

The only problem we had was that the boat lift didn't work. I understand it was flooded in May and that shorted out the electronics. I think there should be more communication to let the visitors know this is a problem. We did bring our boat and were able to tie it off with bumpers but if there was any kind of a storm we would have had to bring in in each time. I think there needs to be more communication with the tenants before they check in so they know of the issue. Other than that the place was great. We have stayed there at least 4 times in the past.

The house is beautiful, it has a great distribution where everyone can fit comfortably,we were a party of 12 and we all had our own space. It has all the features you may need to have a blast, it is located by the water and the pool and spa were great! Would definitely book again

We had family from each coast meet in Houston for Thanksgiving and chose Lake Conroe as the perfect getaway. This house in Walden was perfect. Super quiet neighborhood on the lake. The pool and hot tub were a staple of entertainment along with kayaking and fishing from the dock. Nick and Will were quick to help with anything! Shopping was close as well as some great restaurants. I highly recommend.

Great house. Temps were in 100's so the pool was the go to spot. Four kids 6 and under. Bunkroom was perfect. The pac n play in the house was a welcome touch. Child proof knobs on doors plus strap on sliding door was very reassuring. Home was cleanest VRBO we have ever seen. Everything worked. Plenty of hot water. Great house for our family weekend. Only negative was lack of TV. Info said YOUTUBE TV ( which we have at home) but it wasn't available on the TV's. We were able to get NETFLIX. Was not a big deal for us.

Really nice - pool and lake access for swimming is good as it gets. Late evening tubing in lake was really relaxing. Enjoyed having boat house to keep hot sun off all fishing and skiing equipment in boat during the days. House location offers shaded evenings that was welcoming during 100+ heat wave days.

We brought our entire family of 8 adults and 4 kids. Could have used one more bedroom but accommodations were adequate. Beautiful quiet neighborhood. Wonderful pool and outside area, fishing off the dock was a hit for the kids! Kayak and pool toys were great as well. Didnt have an umbrella for the pool but a quick trip to the store solved that. It would have been nice to have those extra touches though. I would suggest more towels in the bathrooms. Property could use some basic wear and tear restorations but overall great, comfortable and peaceful. We walked around the neighborhood and saw so many deer! Rented a boat and got picked up off the dock on the property. It was enjoyed by us all!

The place was perfect. Great pool and covered outdoor area. The house accommodated our large family of 6 adults, 4 kids and an infant. The boat dock was perfect for our 24’ boat. We will definitely come back!

We have stayed at this property 3 times now. This property is perfect for our family. Although we were a little disappointed this time. I have already let management know that the ice machine in the laundry room wasn't working, the boat lift wasn't working and the burners in the grill needed replacing.

We had a wonderful time staying at this property the best part was being able to have our watercraft on the dock to go out often . The inside of the home was clean, spacious and set up to enjoy the beautiful water view. The only downside was the front entry was not so pleasant to walk up to lots of wasp/ spider mud dobbers right in the entry it needs to be cleaned up. The patio area needed a good pressure wash. Lots of wasps and spiders all the chairs had lots of spiders spider eggs. It was nothing we couldn’t overlook for a few days but would definitely have made it nicer.
Bring your umbrella the pool was great lots of umbrellas holders but no umbrellas so it was more usable after 4:30 when it was shaded by house. Definitely a comfortable house and the set up would be good for big families or a few small ones. We will return again I’m sure. The communication was wonderful with the property manager or owner when we needed to.
There is wildlife, We were greeted by a family of raccoons on the back porch and watched the deers across the way .

Because of Covid, we had to put our annual family vacation on hold for a whole twelve months! The Walden hosts were so gracious to allow us to reschedule at no extra charge! They were also very responsive to any questions or supply issues were encountered.
The home is lovely and having the choice of lake AND pool was a big plus for the children.

Fantastic Stay
We loved staying in this home for the week. Everything we needed was there. We even cancelled some plans to simply hang out by the pool and patio for a third straight day. Very relaxing, clean, nice vacation spot. We’ll be coming back.

The property and amenities are exactly what is advertised. The master bed is the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on! The pool is beautiful the cove is quite but a bit of a drive to get to open water. Wonderful property manager. Outside TV went out and it was replaced within 2 hours. If there was one thing we were disappointed about (and its extremely minor), there are very few boardgames/games. I would highly recommend this property for any family/group looking to come together for a great time.

Overall we had a great time at the lake! There were a couple of things that popped up withoth the rental, but the property manager was easy to get ahold of and fixed the issues over the phone. Would stay here again!
