Super famille !

Je pars d’ici avec un super sentiment ! C’était très reposant de dormir (la chambre était très spacieuse) et très propre. Je pouvais même faire mon yoga dedans. J’ai demandé a la famille de me faire à manger les deux soirs pour éviter de sortir seule et les repas étaient délicieux! J’ai même cuisiné avec l’hôte le dernier soir. Le jardin est sympa et c’est à côté d’un super temple ! Le lit était confortable. Il n’y avait pas l’eau chaude dans la chambre mais le dernier soir, l’hôte m’a proposée d’aller me doucher dans une autre chambre avec eau chaude (gratuitement). Je recommande vivement ce logement !!!

Its the best place for your money.. very calm and quiet place with every facility you need comfy beds clean bathrooms abd superfriendly house owner ..so if you aroubd galle its the best place for money😍

The house is near the coast, there are shops nearby. quiet, peaceful place, lots of greenery

Big room, self bathroom, comfortable veranda

kitchen. paid (15 usd/mouth), very few dishes, no food shelves, small single plate. A lot of ants in the room, ventilation without a mosquito grid, sometimes slow wifi. Only cold water.

Great calm place to stay, very close to Galle

The hospitality of this family was just incredible. From the first meeting with them, I felt totally welcome and their kind attitude made my stay extremely comfortable. I know what I'm talking about because I had stayed in places where I didn't feel that much welcome but this just simply wasn't the case. Sanithu homestay is pretty close to Galle as well as to Bara beach which is less crowded and really beautiful. The WiFi in the homestay was surprisingly good and I was able to teach some online classes without any trouble. I also liked the mattress and I had a very comfortable sleep. There was a mosquito net that kept me safe from the mosquitos and I don't think I got a single mosquito bite there. The bathroom was also really clean and also liked their garden and their cute rabbit too. One thing I should also mention was the food because Champi cooked delicious, budget-friendly meals which were also really healthy and which I enjoyed a lot so I definitely reccommend eating there.

brilliant homestay experience

- friendly hosts who will bend over backwards to help/assist - situated in a great neighbourhood. so many friendly people. makes up for not being located in Galle town. Locals wanting to know my name and play cricket etc.. a £1 Tuk Tuk and you’re in Galle no problem - plenty of good local shops - plenty of space in the room I booked. separate building. I had a lovely time with nice genuine people.

Lovely location. Best homemade food. High level hospitality

Paradise please in the real green village with friendly inhabitants. The apartment located just nearby well known Thuparama Viharaya. Hosts are well known respectable family. Home made food is the best in SriLanka! Especially roti :)

Exceptional

A truly wonderful homestay experience. It was an unforgettable honour to be welcomed into the home and life of this family for a few days. Funny, friendly, caring hosts, great cooking, a cute house in a beautiful garden in a peaceful lane of Ginthota. The house is close to a temple and a short walk from the train station, bus stop, nearest beach and main road with a supermarket and other shops. Galle is a short bus or tuk tuk ride away -- you can easily visit Galle and other nearby beaches and more from here.

That it was time to leave.

“We like the stay very much! Owners are wonderful people! They are really kind, helpful, honest and reliable. We felt welcome. The feeling was like we are at home. This makes you feel like home. There is nice you can sit and relax or use the kitchen which is having a big table. We would definitely stay there again and can totally recommend this nice place. We wish You the best Your family. ”

Excellent staff. Everything was super. I really enjoyed the stay. The entire family was co operative and supporting. Food was awesome. Room was clean. Wifi speed was good too. Recommendable place.
