About this house rental

Dove Cottage is a delightful Grade 2 listed Cotswold stone house, situated in the quiet residential upper High Street, (which has long been a no through road), in Broadway, amongst the golden stoned cottages and houses which line the road. The lower High Street with it's numerous restaurants, pubs, shops and art galleries are located a few minutes walk from the cottage.

The Cotswolds Way, with its beautiful walks, is on the doorstep.

The Cottage has recently been refurbished and updated to a high standard and is now offered for holiday rental.
The Cottage sleeps 5 in 2 large bedrooms, one with a Super King size bed and ensuite shower room, the other with one king size bed and one single bed, with a family bathroom adjacent. There are views over the countryside to the rear.
On the ground floor there is a sitting room with a log burning stove, the room having pleasing views over the golden stoned houses and cottages of the High Street, and a kitchen/diner, both with exposed stone walls, and a large rear hall/ boot room, as well as a wc/utility room containing a washing machine.

Outside there are 2 parking spaces, one benefiting from access to a power point to charge electric cars. Please note, that if this facility is required, the owner/agent should be informed in advance, in order that the electricity supply may be turned on.

There is also a small, but picturesque front garden, with a stone seat, and another small sitting area under a veranda to the rear/side of the property.

The Cottage is very well equipped and furnished with Luxury Egyptian cotton towels and bedding supplied. There is a 50" Smart TV in the sitting room, together with a DVD recorder and sound bar, with a 40" Smart TV in each bedroom.

Super Fast Fibre Broadband is also supplied.

The kitchen is equipped with high end appliances, including a KitchenAid toaster, and kettle, an induction hob, fan oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and quality glass and tableware.

The cottage is dog friendly, with up to two small/medium dogs being permitted at a time. (large dogs please contact owner)

Short break in a comfortable cottage in a beautiful village. Dove cottage is in a beautiful village, a very short walk from excellent pubs and restaurants. Despite Broadway being a busy tourist destination, the cottage was quiet.

This was perfectly located within walking distance of the Broadway restaurants, tea rooms, and pubs. It also provided easy access to all the Cotswold towns and villages. The host was great getting us in for a short notice week long stay!

Had several criteria that were deal breakers to find in our cotswolds stay.1. English cottage style, 2. 2 beds/2 baths, 3. dog friendly, 4. walkability to restaurants/pubs/shops. The Dove cottage hit all of them out of the park. Debbie was very responsive to any questions. We loved Broadway. Perfect location to explore other Cotswolds villages yet there were quaint shops and restaurants right in town within walking distance. We didn’t have a car so it was nice to have country walks, pubs and adorable shops so near us. We felt so cozy and comfortable there. Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful cottage.

Fantastic property that was perfect for our young family of four and dog. Beautiful location that is ideal as a base for touring the Cotswolds or just hibernating in Broadway. Deborah couldn't have been more helpful and responded quickly to all queries.

The property is ideally suited for 2 couples and in a great location for walking into Broadway with many shops and places to eat. Parking is good. There is limited space to sit outside. The beds are really comfy as are the sofas in the lounges. The bushes in the front need cutting back to make it easier to get to the outside plug and possible to sit on the bench.

Thank you for having us to stay at Dove Cottage, we had a really relaxing few days. Your place is lovely, the perfect spot from which to explore the area and we loved being able to walk into the village with the dog to all of the wonderful cafes and pubs and also on to the Cotswolds Way and up to Broadway Tower just 50m up the road! The cottage itself was cosy, comfortable and had everything we could’ve wanted for a few days away, and we also want to say thank you for the fizz in the fridge! Luke and Hannah

Lovely cottage in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay in spite of the weather!! Lots to see and do in the area. Owner is awaiting a new carpet as the lounge as it is quite badly stained. Quite a lot of stairs so need to be reasonably mobile. Would definitely recommend and would be more than happy to book again. Thanks for the bubbly!!

Perfect location and very comfortable quiet cottage with everything you need for a stay. The cottage needs a bit of tlc i.e new carpets and kitchen tap/worktop and the bathrooms had steps down which could be difficult at night. Overall we enjoyed our stay with parking for 2 cars and a short walk to all amenities.

Couldn’t ask for a better location. The king bed was very comfortable, and the shower was great. Only 4 stars overall, though, due to the poor condition of the downstairs carpet (worn, stained), and several cob webs we encountered upstairs.

After watching years of Midsomer Murders I longed to stay at the British countryside. This cottage did not disappoint - central location, walking distance to town, beautiful cottage and neighborhood. We were pleasantly surprise to find amenities that are hard to find in European vacation rentals - 2.5 bathrooms, dryer in addition to washer, and a dishwasher. Beds were comfortable. we had a eat-in kitchen and living room that we can hang out before going to bed. Even people in town were friendly and nice. People were nice everywhere too - a person made numerous phone calls for us to find a taxi, another couple gave us a ride from the train station because we couldn't find Uber or taxi, numerous people gave us friendly directions. Beautiful country with beautiful people!

Charming, well equipped cottage in Broadway set among other characteristically unique Cotswold stone houses. Stylish decor mixed with old charm made for a pleasing ambience. Lots of stairs which we didn’t realize but we managed even though we are elders. Well worth stay here!

Dove Cottage is perfect. Extremely clean with high quality items in every room and in an excellent location just a short walk from all the amenities that Broadway has to offer. All our needs had been considered and catered for. Communication with the Host prior to our stay was excellent as were the arrival instructions.

This is a beautiful, pristine, wonderfully equipped cottage in Broadway. It was such a pleasure to spend a long weekend there. The cottage has every comfort you would wish for, and an awesome kitchen for cooking. Broadway is lovely, we did a lot of walking even though it had rained heavily and there was a lot of mud. The views were breathtaking! We are sorry we loaded the dishwasher before leaving but forgot to press the start button! Sincerely, The Erbachs

Dove cottage is in an excellent location with local amenities 5 minutes walk away. The cottage is equipped to a high standard with everything needed for a cosy winter break, a good size for 4 adults. Would deffinatly use again.

We stayed here for 6 days with a family of five including 3 teenagers. While it's on the small side for our family, the set up of the cottage made it great. The cottage has all the amenities you would ask for (except a dryer!) and our communications with the property manager were easy. Check in and out was seamless. We were in town to visit family, so we did not have family dinners in the cottage (which would have been tight). But the living area with two comfortable couches was great as was the small kitchen. Just a few blocks from the shops on High Street and minutes from our family for visits. We loved the rose prosecco left for us and didn't need the other info as we knew Broadway well, but it's there for others!

We went as a family of 4 and two little dogs celebrating a belated special birthday . The property was lovely and very cosy , very well equipped , beds were so comfy and great having a boot room especially having g two dogs and muddy boots from long walks . Broadway is such a lovely village and the cottage was a 5 min walk from shops and a 2 min walk from country walks . Fabulous stay :) hoping to return .

We very much enjoyed a long weekend at Dove Cottage in beautiful Broadway. Deborah communicated with us speedily and efficiently during the booking process and prior to our visit. The cottage appeared to have been newly refurbished: it was very clean, cosy yet comfortable and well equipped. It is ideally located very close to the pubs, restaurants and shops of Broadway, which is a very picturesque Cotswolds small town. I'd very much recommend both Dove Cottage and Broadway.

We had a wonderful break in this characterful and very comfortable cottage; located in the quiet end of the High Street but with all the convenience of the shops and restaurants being just a few minutes easy walk away . We enjoyed exploring the beautiful Cotswolds by car and on foot .

The cottage was lovely in a great location. Really comfortable beds made for a great night sleep. Plenty to do as a family in the area, from horse riding, Go Ape, a brewery visit and a picturesque walk over fields up to the Broadway Tower. Highly recommended.

When booking the property i was slightly concerned that a terrace property would be too small for a family of 5 with 2 dogs. However what appeared small from outside provided a luxurious spacious living area within which the whole family enjoyed. Perfect Cotswold base for walking,sightseeing,shopping and eating/drinking out.
