Lovely quiet and peaceful spot with amazing view
3.5
Fabulous location. Well equipped. Close to great coffee bar and food.
Advertising did not say it was attached to another unit. It was not soundproof. 2 consecutive nights incoming landline calla at 11:30 pm is reason for lower rating.

This place was overall superb. We really enjoyed our time here. The host had thought of everything you might need and provided. The house has a perfect location. we started everyday with swimming and sun bathing on our almost private beach. Everything was amazing. I definitely recommend this place to everyone who wants to have a perfect location in Rarotonga. It'a a walk distance away from all the good food as well! Just perfect.
4.5
Great private covered yard at the back with bbq which we used all the time.
Own washing machine and clothes line.
No road noise.
No insect screens but we knew that and the price reflected it.

The most perfect location, so close to the most beautiful beach. To go to sleep and wake up to the sound of the ocean, you can lay in bed and see it all!!
Not one thing, it ws perfect
4.5
beachfront location, privacy, lots of amenities, proximity to restaurants, good snorkelling off beach, friendly neighbours
A hairdryer would have been very useful

The host was wonderful. Diana really made the stay exceptional. She went above and beyond, even sending her daughter to pick us up from the place the confused bus driver dropped us off: about 25 minutes walk from the place. I think the bus driver doesn't know Shoreline Escape, Rarotonga yet, because the closest sign is Moana Sunset, and we started to use that as a proxy for our getting off place. We're also right next door to the ice-cream shop, which can also be used as a proxy/landmark. Thankfully, Diana said she's going to put up a sign, and I think it'll help a lot! Diana was SO forgiving too! I was really clumsy and in attempting to switch off the light in the darkness of the night, I accidentally knocked her bedside lamp over and shattered the ceramic. I swept it up and threw it away and confessed the accident to Diana the very next day. But she kindly refused to charge us a single cent for the damages. She really, really wanted us to have a pleasant stay, have nothing to worry about, and just enjoy ourselves. My wife also learnt that bad things happen when she tries to microwave food in plastic bowls. I confessed that damage to Diana also before we left, and she didn't even consider it worth mentioning. My wife also tried to do a very difficult thing: to cook rice 🍚 without a rice cooker. In her first attempt, the rice 🍚 got burnt, and it actually damaged the pot with a layer of carbon on the bottom I tried to remove by soaking it in dishwasher liquid filled hot water, but alas, it was to no avail. I also confessed that to Diana before we left, but it was like water off a duck 🦆's back to her. I'm very impressed by the deep Christian values infused into her flesh and bones that she expresses unconsciously. And the guests she invites to live on the other side were also very wonderful.
My wife actually saw a used cotton bud on the bed when we got there. I took care of it but it did give her a less than perfect impression. My biggest regret was not talking to Diana more because I was under a lot of pressure to work out what to do in Rarotonga to make the most of it and to keep my wife entertained, but I probably should have just said hi to Diana and asked her to show us around and everything would have been far more exciting for my wife. She was somewhat frustrated about waiting for the bus to show up. The trip was good for developing my very limited leadership skills, so I didn't mind it one bit. But my wife expressed dissatisfaction with how much we got done in a day. I guess most couples want their honeymoon to be enjoyable, but I just see our honeymoon as a learning opportunity where lots of the things which can go wrong did go wrong, but we learnt how to keep going and our smile might have paused and frozen in a moment of concern, but kept going right from where it left off!

Location is great

Well equipped with everything I needed in the kitchen, bathroom and laundry and even had masks and snorkels. Very comfortable accommodation. Peaceful location.
Air con would’ve been a luxury.

Brilliant location, beautiful facilities. Everything had been thought about and we didn't want for anything in the villa. It is a great property
The tiles at the rear of the house, adjacent to the back enclosed area do not have any border protection and were sharp if you missed your step.

We have stayed in this type of accommodation all over the world except for Africa and South America and this unit was the best designed , best equipped and best built of any of them . Congratulations to you Diana and your father . John& Beverly

(No Breakfast included). The Unit Has Cooking Facilities. Everything has been thought of. ( Iron, Cutlery, Dishes, All kinds of Cooking Utensils, Pots And Pans etc. Milk and Keri juice, and Bottled Water in Fridge when I arrived. I really needed the Juice, after arriving from New Zealand. Also has Washing Machine, with Detergent etc, supplied.
I liked the Cleanliness. And the Modernisation. Soft close Toilet, As New, modern Wash Basin, Sink etc, HiIgh Flow Shower Head cad be Hand Held. Outdoor Shower also. Fresh Paint. Bed made up to perfection. Also Spotless, and very comfortable Bed. The Flow through Ventilation, and Ceiling Fan. Easy Vehicle Access, and Icecream and Waffle Shop right next Door.
Genuine Ocean Front. sandy Beach. Big deck facing Beach. Covered Outdoor Areas, front and Back . good Security. High Ceilings.
I might want a daytime nap, on the Bed, with front and Back Doors wide open, for a Breeze. Chooks would sneak inside. Often, Chooks on the Decks. Looking for Food. For the Off Season, in the Cook Islands, I still think I made the right choice. It was the Best Value at the time. I had plenty of Money, but thought Payment was Coming from my Master Card. I actually Paid by Internet Banking.

Absolutely loved everything, will definitely recommend work mates to stay here when they visit
The heat, too hot had to open all windows and doors 🤣🤣I suppose that's the haps for being in the Cooks when the sun is always out

We loved how private the accommodation was. The location is great, Beluga cafe is just down the road for fantastic coffee and brunch. Everything you need for a self catering stay ie bbq, outside dining tables. Perfect for watching the sunsets. Great shower, comfortable large bed, quiet fridge. We loved everything and had an amazing holiday. The host Diana was lovely and great communication. We will be back

Location was excellent, right on the beach & so private. Very friendly owners, it was clean & tidy, well setup & close to beach bars & cafes/restaurants so you could simply walk along the beach & choose. So much better than staying at a big resort with all the people around. It was perfect for a couple to escape it all.

The bungalow was in a perfect location on the Western side of Rarotonga with ocean/lagoon view and a perfect view of the sunset. It was equipped with a kitchen including a stove, microwave, fridge/freezer and all utensils. The bungalow is in perfect shape and was sparkling clean. There is no air conditioning, which was adequate for our stay in November as there is a ceiling fan and it cools down at night. There is a patio and a nice lawn area behind the bungalow with lounge chairs. It is only a few minutes of walking along the beach to get to a nice beach bar. The island circle bus stops right in front of the property and there is car/motorscooter parking within the property.
Everything was perfect!

Spotlessly clean and with all facilities we needed. Having breakfast and enjoying the sunset from our porch directly on the beach was great and Diana was the best host. We totally recommend this location.
