Beautifully decorated house in a great area with comfortable beds and stunning views of the vineyards. Peaceful, clean, and close to wineries. Owners are welcoming and responsive.

This house was so much bigger than we expected it to be. It was perfect for our family of 4! It has AC and is really nice! I will say the lack of a dishwasher made it tough to want to eat and cook there, but other than that it was great!
5.0
The home was spacious and nicely decorated. It was clean and had essentials we needed for our five day stay. The surrounding area was open and we saw different types of wildlife wander through. The A/C was awesome. The home was comfortable and quiet.

Problem with hearing the house. Took 3 days to fully warm up the place

Fun place to stay. Had to kill multiple bugs throughout stay. Some were in the towels. Not being able to flush TP was annoying. Dedicated bathroom as the poop room.

This was a nice quiet property about 30 minutes from San Diego attractions. We had a good time and were comfortable during our stay.

The rental was perfect in every sense of the word. The location and views are stunning. The property is beautiful and so very relaxing. The silence is perfect! Starting your day in complete silence on the back patio with a hot cup of coffee and ending it in the same way with a glass of wine, what more could anyone ask for? The local wine tasting is wonderful. I had no idea that Escondido was hiding such a wonderful little secret. We only made it to four of the local boutique wineries but there are many many more to visit and enjoy. If you do anything, be sure to take the drive up to Cordiano's winery in the evening to enjoy some delicious pizza, a wine flight, and watch the sunset. You will not regret it.

House was exactly as advertised. It was a nice retreat but close enough to City to get around easily. Owners were very responsive. Nice back patio to enjoy cooler mornings and evenings.

Wonderful cottage on their beautiful property…the owners were a lovely couple that made us feel like family! We will definitely be back!

The house was comfortable, nice, and clean. It’s a little vineyard/orchard in a agricultural area. We ate at Cordiano’s winery twice. Really good Italian food and pizza just 5 minutes away. We also went to the Wild Animal Safari park and Anzio Borrego state park to see the wild flower explosion. We also ventured to LA to see the Petersen Auto Museum and drive the PCH. We spent a leisurely 5 nights and were pleased with the rental and central SoCal location for our planned side trips.

Can hardly believe we got to stay here!!!
So very relaxing to walk around the property and neighborhood. Quite a special treat to pick oranges for breakfast!!
We hope that we will have the opportunity to stay again. Thank you Justin and Monica for pursuing your vision provided such a great place to enjoy.

Home was clean and had everything we needed. Buckled flooring in some areas but not a problem. The property and area is very nice and while we were visiting family in Escondido the drive to and from was scenic and enjoyable. I was a little surprised in that the yard was a bit overgrown. Initially we had a difficult time connecting to the internet but the owner quick corrected the problem and was very responsive.

The location of this property is so great and lovely. We drove about three miles up the hill and through many wineries. It was scenic and beauty. The house is not plush, but very comfortable. It is very private. It felt so good in the morning to open up the curtain, the beautiful orchard is just outside the window. The owner is very nice and responsive. Would stay there again when we visit San Diego next time.

The stay was great, everything was clean and easily accessible. Was provided with a book of local services and points of interest. The view was wonderful from the back stoop & it was very nice to be able to pick and enjoy fresh oranges. my kids absolutely loved it. close enough to go to the beach and enjoy the seaside as well.

Very peaceful and relaxing!

This was, honestly, one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed ! The home is located on an active vineyard but was so private - we had no contact with the owners unless we initiated it. Within walking distance to wineries, the neighborhood is peaceful and scenic ! The house itself was spacious yet cozy with a sweet patio area to enjoy the night sky. You will not be disappointed

Our stay was fantastic. It was peaceful and relaxing. The kids had a great time roaming around. Everything we needed was a quick drive away and being so close to the I-15 we were able to get down to San Diego in no time. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfection (as always)
This property is a must for anyone that is looking for a vacation from the norm. Families, couples, or singles will all enjoy the layout, property, and hosts. We have stayed here more than once and each year it just gets better. Don't hesitate. This property is the one!

Perfect place for R&R
Linda is a warm and thoughtful hostess. Her property is skillfully organized to meet every need of the weary traveler. The premises are spotlessly maintained. We will definitely use her destination again.

Gorgeous Area
This property was just as described. It's a well-lit, well decorated, and surprisingly spacious home. We actually cancelled a afternoon of activities so we could stay at the rental, walk the vineyard, and just relax. We enjoyed stargazing at night and listening to the frogs croak in the dark. My only disappointment was the pillows, as they were very lumpy. Other than that, the stay was wonderful!

Had a wonderful stay. Very quiet and the view was amazing . We would definitely stay there again. We have family in Escondido.

Peaceful getaway
The cottage is on a quiet, peaceful property overlooking a beautiful orchard. It is a short 12 minute drive to the San Diego Safari Park and close to a number of vineyards. Everything was clean and comfortable. We have a great family vacation here!

Great Experience
Would have stayed again but policy change they didn't offer a refund (or even partial) well over a month out. My son is in the Navy and with his current job the Dec schedule could have changed until after Thanksgiving

Beautiful place!
My mom and I came here for a little vacation and it was lovely! Very spacious, friendly host, and close to lots of wineries! It's a bit out of the way, which was fine with us, but if you're trying to be a tourist, this may not be the best option, since it took us a minimum of 20 minutes to get to any store, 30 minutes from San Diego city. I definitely recommend though if you want a quiet, mountain view to relax in!

Secluded home
The house was roomy and clean. The outdoor seating area was not very inviting, could use some improvement. It would be a very peaceful setting but unfortunately a crew was working on taking down a cell tower and started working at 7am. Advance notice giving us the option to cancel our stay would have been appreciated. Also, directions to the place are not very clear. The destination street has no clear signage and the property was hard to find. Needed to call the owner for help.

Very secluded
Exterior seating area not very inviting, could use some plants and more comfortable seating. Place was hard to find, no street sign, just a post with the street name in vertical writing which was really hard to see. You have to know it is there. Otherwise a nice place if you like to be far out there.

This property is amazing, located among the citrus orchard and a vineyard. Close to the Safari Par.
Everything was very easy to book, great communication.

Beautiful property
Though not really very close to San Diego given the traffic, this is a great place to stay if you want to be in a beautiful and secluded setting. The scenery is gorgeous and the place is very clean, comfortable, spacious and stylish. Picking fresh oranges was a big plus. Near several wineries.

Free oranges - like. No designated smoking area - dislike.

Excellent rental
The home was spacious and as described in the advertising. We enjoyed our 5 days there. The amenities and furnishings worked out very well for us. A nice touch was letting us pick oranges and grapefruit during our stay. If the current heat wave continues, it might be an idea to invest in a heat pump (for us northerners.) Overall, a pleasant and quiet place to spend time. Definite pluses are the proximity to the San Diego Zoo Safari and several wine tasting establishments.

Delightful stay with vineyard and orange trees
Our stay at this location was exactly what we needed. Everything was clean, well decorated and a fresh remodel of the place. It was so relaxing to look out the windows and see the beautiful hills and vineyards. They think of everything...even sugar packets for coffee! We’d stay here again should we come back to the area to visit. Don’t even hesitate to reserve this special place! You’ll enjoy it very much!

Nice Clean Home. Great Stay. Beautiful Views.
Exceeded expectations. Beautiful property and home. Owner was great and communicative. Definitely recommend.

Quiet and Cozy
This might have been the cleanest property I’ve ever stayed in. The house is well stocked. The kitchen had spices and tin foil (a rarity with rental properties). There was a wide variety of books and movies. My boys were thrilled to be able to play video games. There is a nice outdoor space with a table and umbrella. We played wiffle ball every night in the backyard. The property is close to many wineries. We checked out Speckle Rock. Owners were very responsive.

Great place, with great view. Excellent stay for couples. Highly recommend.
The house has most amenities one can ask for. Good location for those wanting to get a bit outside of the City.

Wonderful experience
My daughter and I were in town on business and chose to say in a VRBO rather than a hotel because we wanted the room and coziness of a home. What a delightful time we had. Everything was perfect and we felt right at home. We even picked a few oranges from right outside our door and had them for breakfast! They were very sweet and juicy, what a bonus!
We were out one evening and I realized that I accidentally left the key behind. Jason was just a phone call away and had the door unlocked by the time we got back. I also forgot my computer charger and Jason sent me a text and is sending it back at his expense. What a wonderful way to do business. A hotel would never do that!!!
My husband and I often look for places to get away and this one is at the top of our list. There are a few wineries within walking distance that are super quaint and wonderful. I can’t remmmend this place highly enough!

Very nice
Very nice and quiet...had everything we needed, the property was awesome. I would only say one thing, I wish the back patio was a lot bigger.

Quiet with beautiful views!
Great house! Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed for our family. If you are looking for a some peace and quiet and breathtaking views this is the place for you. Owners are very kind and were very helpful with our unexpected late arrival. Very close to the San Diego Safari Park and about 30 minutes from San Diego attractions. The only thing I would add would be more detailed driving directions from Evolve. We would definitely stay again!
