Exceptional

This was a gem of a place with a fabulous rural view and peaceful location. Lovely greeting from the family, beautifully appointed kitchen and sparklingly clean accommodation. Loved the bubbly! Our thanks to our hosts. We loved our stay.

Lovely quiet situation, very nice hosts, relaxing.

Spacious accommodation, really big comfy bed, nice modern kitchen and bathroom Beautiful surroundings and able to eat our breakfast outside.

The automatic light which came on in the bathroom as soon as the door opens-it’s such an awful rude awakening in the night and the brightness even woke up my partner! The owners advised us to switch off the main switch on the wall but that doesn’t work. You really have to climb up and put black paper over the sensor on the ceiling. Difficult to get back to sleep after that

It’s a beautiful hideaway for a romantic getaway. Without a car, it’s very difficult to reach

we were warmly welcomed by Erica and her lovely goat Betty. the stay it’s self was perfect and couldn’t ask for a better

It was so relaxing, so comfortable and all in a lovely location

The room is quite ingenious - everything you need in one place. An extremely comfortable bed and a plentiful supply of hot water. The orosecco and chocolates left in the fridge for us were a treat

A nice place for a short stay for two; semi remote countryside with lovely walks from front door.

Clean, rural, semi remote property were attractions for us. Gift of a bottle of bubbly and chocs very nice to have on arrival. Three cottages available but only us and the chickens over our weekend.

A Microwave definitely and WIFI perhaps - but phone signal was fine. Instructions for the hob/cooker would have been helpful also

beautiful comfy warm stay with lovely personal touches

beautiful property which was spotless. lovely comfy bed, bath, large sofa chair and table set. complimentary bubbles and chocolate were a lovely touch as very attentive staff. the scenery is amazing and Taxis are able to find you to bring you into town. bonus for the Christmas tree which was an amazing touch.

Absolutely amazing,best place we've stayed

It was absolutely perfect, from the extra little touches we were given to the actual accommodation it's all finished to a very high standard, spotlessly clean, has everything you could want and more we will definitely stay again and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a quiet getaway.

Lovely clean and warm lodge with a beautiful view

The room was lovely and warm when we arrived. The Prosecco and chocolates was a nice touch

For the price we paid, I think there should have been a breakfast hamper

Beautiful lodge in the middle of beautiful surroundings, lovely Prosecco and chocolates on arrival. Hosts very contactable and recommended restaurant which we went to, perfect for our stay will be back x

Could of done with some smaller condiments to help with kitchen , but overall beautiful stay x

If you want complete relaxation, peace and tranquility in a beautiful lodge then stay at plumptons

Beautiful lodge, felt homely but romantic, lovely view, quiet and peaceful. We didn't want to leave.

There was nothing to dislike, it was all peffect.

Superb

This was a self-catering lodge, one of 3 in a very quiet rural location. Very well appointed but remember to bring your own supplies. Spotless and fully equipped. Good instructions before arrival.

Be prepared for a 2 minute drive past lovely lakes on a farm track once you get through the gates. No WiFi.

I like to travel round to lots of different places and this is by far one of my favourites!

The hosts were extremely friendly and went out of there way to make my stay great. By allowing me an early check in, welcoming me with a bottle of Prosecco and chocolates! And a very clean cosy lodge! In a great peaceful location!
