It was all perfect! We got a warm welcome by Penopole and Michela. It was very cold, but they already put on the heating for us. They gave us many tips from where to eat to how to hike in the Dolomites. The appartment was really nice and clean and lovely decorated.
Nothing.

This is a great place, people. Top location, lovely easy going and helpful host. La Maisonette is also beautifully decorated. It almost feels like a little museum/vintage shop where you can walk around and make little stories of the items you see.
This place is and has all you need!
No negatives here.

We liked everything about La Maisonette! From the first moment of meeting Michela and Penelope, we felt more than welcomed. Michela provided excellent service and s wonderfully comfortable home-away-from- home for us for 4 days and nights. The apartment was clean and spacious with all we needed if we felt like eating meals in which we did a couple of times. The location was central to stores, historic sites and restaurants of all kinds. And, close to the train station. There was also bus service to nearby towns.
We discovered that people stay out late in Feltre on Fridays and Saturdays, evidenced by raucous laughter and conversation. Monday night silence returned on slippered feet.

My wife, Debbie, and I were fortunate to have decided to extend our stay in Feltre to two extra nights at Michela's La Maisonette apartment. We were welcomed with open arms by Michela and her daughter, Penelope upon arrival. We felt like we had arrived home. The apartment was well stocked with breakfast fixings and we had everything we needed to at in if we chose. There was also a very nice supermarket (Aldi) nearby. La Maisonette is also conveniently close to the train station. We loved walking around the historic center of Feltre where La Maisonette is centrally located. Michela suggested several restaurants, pubs and pizzerias for us to try. There was even an osteria downstairs from the apartment that looked nice (Smash) but there were on holiday until the day we left. One place we enjoyed a wonderful meal was at Aurora Trattoria, which Michela recommended. You won't be disappointed. Overall, our stay at La Maisonette was exceptional and relaxing. Oh, and be sure to visit La Birreria up the hill in Pedavena. It's about a 1/2 hour's walk on sidewalks if you're so inclined. Just follow the signs to Pedavena. We loved both the walk and the bruschetta and beer.
There was some noise from the nearby piazza (loud voices of Italian residents just socializing) on Friday night. Just close the windows.

We had a well-stocked kitchen with plenty of snacks and breakfast foods.
Two bathrooms would have been nice and it gets a little warm in the summer with no AC

Very spacious flat with authentic charms and centrally located. Host is outstanding and communication was perfect: we got lots of advice for hiking trails. Host also granted a late check-in (at night) and a late check-out (7 pm). Most appreciated and highly recommended.

The host was amazing! She prepared an apperitivo for our arrival and came to meet us and to show around. Once we told her that I’m going for a run in the mountains she sent some nice trails where to go to!

Michela knows the meaning of hospitality: very friendly and helpful, throughout our stay. She even went along with us to show directions to a nice restaurant.

Spacy place, nice location, the area and a very hospitable hostess... that made up for the things that were not as good.
There was only one time a breakfast given (for the entire week); This could have been communicated better in advance. The location outside was noisy during the weekend. Good earplugs are advisable.

I was looking for a place to just relax after 12 days hiking on the Alta Via 2. This was a perfect place for me. It is located inside the walls of Feltre’s historic center - which I enjoyed just exploring and taking photos. There were several restaurants, cafes, gelaterias all within an easy walk. The apartment is old and rustic, with creaky wooden floors and eclectic decorations. Some might be turned off by this but I thought it added to the charm. There was a full kitchen - I didn’t do any cooking (except coffee) but a wide variety of pots, pans & cooking utensils are stocked. There is a fairly large refrigerator. For breakfast, a wide selection of items were provided to choose from. There was a shower and bath tub. An added bonus was a washing machine - which was very welcome after almost 2 weeks of hiking. The proprietress, Michela, was very communicative before and during my stay - keeping in touch to make sure all was going well.
