Everything. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. You really went above and beyond to make our stay incredible and it was. Great recommendations for food, you kindly did our laundry when we couldn’t. Best quiet night sleep in a comfortable bed (no ear plugs required). Great location as you feel like you are in the local community and everyone is so friendly and I felt safe. Just a few mins walk to the main road and amenities. I wish I had longer at your place. Thank you.

Very friendly staff - makes it feel like you stay in a family. They have scooters so you can go directly to the city. Even when i was late for checkout it was no problem. Very helpful staff.

The lady is incredibly nice, the place is clean and very well located. The price is the cheapest in town and you get great value for it. I recommend 100%. This is a really nice place for backpackers to stay at !

Perfect place to stay for a proper homely feel. Large communal kitchen/lounge are where you can make your own food. Clean comfy rooms. Welcoming and friendly host. Would definitely recommend a stay if you’re visiting Donsol.

The double bed was comfortable and the AC, though old, was functional. I was able to cook in the kitchen what I bought from the market.
Location was far from coastal area but close to the market. It is in a dimly lit part of a residential area. The bedroom had a very strong smell of bleach or some cleaning solution.

Love the place. The owner are very helpful and friendly. Offer us some beers and want to please.
Recommend to stay there. The town is pretty close by walk and they’ve got a kitchen where you can cook yourself.

We enjoyed our stay here. The Homestay is located in a more rural area around 5 Minutes (by motorbike) from the city center. The room was clean and the shower had good water pressure. There’s no AC in the room, but the Fan works quite well. We really liked the kitchen, where we were able to cook our own meals. The owner of the Homestay also assists you with getting a Tricycle, to go wherever you need to go.
We rented a Motorbike from the Homestay but unfortunately it wasn’t available from the first day on, even though we asked about it beforehand via message. I think it’s because they only have one scooter to rent and it was taken by another guest that time. It wasn’t a big issue for us, but it might be worth it to invest into a second scooter to rent out, so more guests can rent at once. Especially since you need a scooter to get around town, if you don’t want to rely on Tricycles for your whole stay.

Good value price
Very welcoming helpful and friendly host
Clean and comfortable
Free snorkeling gear and refill water
Bring earplugs and eyes patch. Chickens can be noisy and the window curtains don't filter light
The building itself could use some TLC and maintenance. And more hooks and storage furniture in the room could be useful

The location in Donsol, and the welcoming of the owner, she was super nice and at the service of the guests.
The room is simple but efficient.
Really cheap compared to other establishments in Donsol.
If I had to say something, the lighting of the room which is a bit strong and white, but it's just a detail 🤗

The lady was very friendly and she arranged a cheap taxi for us. That was really nice!
It was a really dirty, smelly place. It's very humid and there is a weird smells that stuck to our clothes for a couple of days.
It's also full of mosquitos.

- The conversations with the female manager.
- Friendly
- Helpful: The female manager called me a motorized tricycle to take me to the terminal on the last day.
- I got an upgraded room with AC and private bathroom on the other side of the house. But I had to pay a little more for it.
- In this better room I could sleep at night. That means the chickens hadn't woken me up at 4 a.m.
- I could use the kitchen.
- Tasty grilled chickens are sold 100 m away.
- 150 m away you can eat pizza and pasta. I got a very nice gift (small nice purse with one peso in it) from the young friendly female cook there.
- No WIFI.
- Low water pressure in my own bathroom.
- The shower head was almost completely clogged. It should be exchanged. This doesn't cost a fortune.
- It required strength to flush the toilet.

Leigh Ann was a fantastic host and we had everything we could need. The airport transfer by her brother was great and she had all the information needed to organise tours. We would definitely recommend and return ourselves.
Nothing. It's maybe just worth noting that there is no A/C if that is something you would want.

It‘s a nice place in a good location. Leigh Ann (the Host) was really nice and super helpful! She helped us book the whale shark diving tour and also advised us about our transport to cebu.
We can definitely recommend this!

The staff is very friendly, they even arrange transport upon request. The shared bathrooms and showers were very clean. Plus they had some kittens that were adorable :)
We couldn’t access the kitchen very early in the morning or late in the evening. It would have been nice to be notified when arrival so we could plan our days better.
