We had a wonderful time at the Chickadee cottage. It was very cute and comfortable. While the cottage is private, there are other buildings in close proximity. The location was perfect for visiting the parks and a great home base for our excursions.

Cottage was adorable, clean and tucked into a canopy of trees. It rained all weekend but we were still able to sit outside in the screened in porch for meals. As advertised the Wifi was unreliable which also made the provided smart TV useless. We were disappointed with the approach to the cottage as any advertised gardens were hidden in overgrowth of grass and weeds and lots of junk around. The fire pit and seating area by parking was overgrown. We were in the car all weekend seeing the sights and the cottage was definitely a perfect home base.

We absolutely loved Chickadee cabin! It was my and my partner’s second time staying and this time we brought friends! The place is rustic, but for the price, you can’t find something cuter. It’s quiet, nestled in the forest, and so cozy. We’ll be back!

This was our third time at the Chickadee Cabin near Lions Head. It's a very private, well appointed little cabin in a beautiful area. We did lots of hiking on the Bruce Trail, as Lions Head is close to lots of good hiking spots. The hosts of the cabin are lovely and we very much enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for four nights and had everything we needed. It's very private and we were lucky enough to be there during the artist's studio tour so we were able to see our hosts' artwork. I have been to this area many times and always discover something new. Dogs are allowed but may not be left alone in the cabin. So make arrangements for your pet if you're not taking them on all of your adventures.

The price is fair. But there were a lot big ants in the cabin. I didn't sleep the first night I have to use sleeping bag to cover from face to feet. Loft was very hot. The host messaged we need to bring out own bedding. We brought our sleeping bags and didn't use any their bedding. We placed their quilt on the chair besides the bed. They are visible. But the host messaged us if we took their expensive quilt by mistake. I told they are on the chair beside the bed. We are not happy for their assumption before checking the quilt in the house.
