Beautiful old Villa in a wonderful Garden. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. In touch with us prior to arrival through Whatsapp to coordinate everything. Breakfast in the garden was super relaxing. Food quality was very good, fresh and varied. The rooms were very well appointed and all looked of good quality. All appliances worked perfectly incl A/C, shower, etc. would highly recommend and would love to stay again.
Nothing that we did not like.

.Our stay at Villa Giordanelli exceeded our expectations. The property is a beautiful villa with all the amenities located close to everything including the beach and old town of Scalea. All within close walking distance .Andrea and Agnese could not do enough for us..They are the ultimate hosts.
Look forward to returning again soon.

Old historic property on impressive real estate. In-out access good and secure
Rooms were not at all as displayed or advertised. On Booking.com site phots show tall ceilings and windows. Not shown is that the rooms are actually a converted attic with no real windows, and a ceiling sloping so that you can only stand up straight in 1/2 of the room or else you will hit your head on the ceiling. WiFi/internet was hit/miss and slow. There was no luggage rack or space to open a suitcase, the 1 chair in the room was the height used in grade school classrooms not tall enough to allow use of the table/desk space.
Breakfast was acceptable continental. No Protein or fiber.
The attic conversion was OK, but not to the standards of a basic hotel. The building was impressive and old, likely historic but no story accompanied the stay.
Proprietors need to make clear what rooms are being rented. The money charged for the attic was excessive.

Simply put: the place is extraordinary. A house full of history, you feel like living in a different era but with all modern amenities. The staff was very friedly and breakfast — well, sumptuous.

Eight of us stayed but the we all had plenty of space. Breakfast was fantastic especially the garden . Staff were attentive without being in the way, friendly, helpful and happy.
There is nothing to not like about this villa.
