About this house rental
This five-bedroom, three-bath home offers very easy access, whether in summer or winter, with ample parking for all family and friends. Situated on a nice, level lot and designed to be disability-friendly, both features are hard to find in the mountains of Ruidoso, New Mexico. The beautifully decorated 3100 sq ft home boasts a spacious living area, dining area, and an open, airy kitchen.
Enjoy some spirited competition in the game room, which includes a pool table and darts, as well as a wet bar with a fridge and microwave. The spacious 1200 square ft deck, complete with a hot tub, offers spectacular views of the one and only Sierra Blanca ski mountain. This home is equipped with wireless internet, air conditioning, a washer and dryer, and a garage – all the amenities needed to create unforgettable memories during your getaway.

Ruidoso is an alpine mountain community. Expect twisty roads with steep grades. The weather is unpredictable and can change quickly. Elevations can vary between 6000’ to almost 12,000’. Most homes are multi-level with stairs on inclined lots. Expect wildlife that may hinder traffic flow. Do not be surprised if the power goes out or if you lose internet or cell phone connection. This is the mountains, and it happens. We encourage guests to be prepared with access to chains or 4-wheel drive in winter months for all our properties. This is not the big city. Life is easier, slower-paced, and more wonderful. This is why we come, and why we stay. Relax and enjoy your time in paradise.

We really enjoyed staying at this location. My only complaint is the freezer/refrigerator didn't work and cost us a lot of money on wasted food. If they get that fixed we will absolutely be staying there again next year!

Disappointed. Toilet downstairs wasn’t bolted to floor. It overflowed after first flush. Maintenance came to repair and said he’d be back to finish and never came back. This is the second Destiny property we have made the mistake of staying in and we will not stay at a Destiny property in the future.

Our vacation weekend was spectacular, family really enjoyed the stayed and the scenery with beautiful sides to wonder. The place we stayed was very well decorated so it gave us a surprise from the beginning and I’m really glad to have chosen destiny, real estate and development. These people were there if I had any questions, and also help me if I had problems or questions with anything, thank you I would really recommend this to someone and definitely will be coming back :)

The location was perfect. Nice quiet atmosphere. The amount of elk and deer eating in the yard daily was amazing. Our only issue was the lack of clean up supplies. We ended up going and buying windex, paper towels, and toilet paper. Thankfully, I brought dishwasher tablets. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom is not enough for 9 people for 3 days, or one roll of paper towels. If you want people to keep the property up, please provide minimal cleaning products.

This is a beautiful place to enjoy Ruiodoso! My family was very comfortable and had a great time here! We almost didn’t want to leave to explore the town because the property was so comfortable and filled with things to keep us entertained. Not far from anything in town. Hot tub was great… played pool all night! Beds are big and plenty of extra covers and towels! The kitchen was fully equipped! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you Rhonda and team for your hospitality!

The property was nice, and we enjoyed the pool table, but the dishes were filthy. We had to hand wash greasy dishes before we could use them. They wanted us to run the dishwasher when we left, but didn't have any detergent. There were 3 partial rolls of toilet paper for 9 people and no paper towels. However there was plenty of extra towels, wash cloths, and blankets. The bedrooms and bathrooms seem to be clean. The back door was unlocked when we arrived. It's been 1.5 weeks and we haven't received out deposit back yet.

The house has not been kept up. We were very disappointed with this rental. Sofa bed has no springs and terrible place to sleep. Sheets had not been changed as we found two dirty socks between the sheets. The house was not very clean, dust bunnies under chair, carpet had not been vacuumed, bathroom window has cobwebs and the closet downstairs had the ceiling debris on the floor, leak must of come from the bathroom upstairs. We only had two rolls of toilet paper along with two bags in kitchen for trash. 11 of us staying for 4 days. I believe the only way I could describe Amazing Place was the view was nice.

We had the best time at Amazing Place for Thanksgiving! The house was gorgeous, clean, and in great location. Some things are a little dated in the house but overall, it was very comfortable and accommodating. It's situated on the perfect hill with great views of the mountains. The kitchen offered a great space to cook a turkey dinner. The hot tub was hot and relaxing. The wildlife was abundant. There were a ton of extra linens as well. Overall, it was amazing and we will definitely be renting this place again! Also, Crystal and the staff were very professional, quick to respond to my many questions and easy to work with. Thank you Destiny Rental for making our holiday perfect!

This home was perfect for our large party. We enjoyed the location and amenities provided. The only concern we had was that the downstairs did not appear to be as clean as the upstairs. This is our third time to stay at this property. We love the location. We were a bit surprised that the down stairs had not been cleaned and the bedding was dirty. We washed the bedding when we realized it had not be washed from the previous rental. The couch down stairs had sheets on it that had been folded up into the couch. You could tell they were not clean. The king bed down stairs sheets, had crumbs in them. We had to strip both beds and wash the sheets before we could use them. The floors though out the house were not clean.

The cabin is nice but needs a lot of updating. The carpet should be replaced, outdoor patio furniture should also be replaced. The pool table is in horrible condition. The downstairs shower is very small and needs to be looked at, there seems to be mold. It is also best to take your own towels. The dishes in the kitchen needed to be cleaned before use and a lot of them are chipped. The pots and pans need to be replaced. Overall I would not recommend this rental.

It was a very cute cabin, we very much enjoyed our stay! The layout would have been helpful when booking, we knew there was a single bed and planned for our grandma to stay there but didn’t know the room was down stairs which we did not wanted her to use the stairs. The pull out couch wasn’t very comfortable but other than that we were very pleased. There was no hand soap which we had to go purchase especially with the virus going around.

Great relaxing vacation during the outbreak of the Corona virus. Enjoyed watching the deer and turkey in the yard everyday. Home has a great location and view of Ski Apache. Pool table helped keep teenage boys entertained while parents relaxed in hot tub. Perfect size for two families of 5 each.
