The Neighborhood:
Turtle Creek is a bucolic, pastoral pocket in urban Dallas that is bordered by prestigious Highland Park, Uptown and Oak Lawn neighborhoods. In some ways it defies description; there are mansions on multi-acre lots here, hidden tree-lined streets with quaint homes and condos but much of the area is surrounded by the best shopping and dining in Dallas. There are fine hotels and great restaurants, office buildings, and upscale shopping with both pricey boutiques and quaint gift shops.
Located in the best area in Dallas. Katy Hiking and Bike trail is 1/2 Block away. Walk to the most sought-after restaurants and shopping destinations, The neighborhood is very quiet! I insist out of respect for the neighbors that there is no partying at all. I live on the property and I am a quick phone call away if you need anything. We also have a hired security patrol for our neighborhood,

The 1930's duplex has been beautifully restored, boosting a spacious floor plan, located in an exclusive neighborhood near high end shops and restaurants. The owner lives onsite, she was very responsive, yet also respectful of our privacy. It is located on the second floor with it's own entrance and street parking. There is a lot of construction in the area, but noise was a non issue in the evenings. The owner spared no expense when updating the property with all modern amenities, while also maintaining all the historical charm original to the property. The beds were extremely comfortable, high end linens. There were lots of extra supply needs on hand to use, well stocked kitchen and many bathroom vanity products. This unique property was charming and we enjoyed our stay very much. Rent this place, you will not regret it.

What a fantastic vacation rental! I stayed here for a week while on business in nearby midtown Dallas. It is clean, comfortable, charming place, and it has a perfect location. The owner is as friendly and responsive as can be. Highly recommend!

Showed up to the house and it was in shambles. The whole house was under construction. I called the manager and she forgot I was coming. How does that even happen. I had to scramble and find a hotel on a busy weekend. SMU graduation and Mother’s Day

Greatly enjoyed four days and nights in a very nice apartment while visiting family in Dallas. The host is very nice, the unit is in a beautiful neighborhood close to restaurants and shopping with easy access to all parts of the Dallas metro area. Will certainly book again for the next time we visit the area.

Great rental near SMU
This rental is in a great area of Dallas, so close to everything! The beds were very comfortable and the space is perfect for 2-4 people. Two things to know, there is a flight of stairs just beyond the front door to reach the apartment and there is no washer and dryer, but there is a washing service available. We were just fine with this, but some families may need this information for planning. The owner lives in the apartment below and was very helpful. It was a great stay in Dallas!

Great Area
Loved the proximity to everything. Cute and quiet neighborhood. Was just what we needed.

Barking dogs
I Would have given this house 5 starts. However the owner downstairs has 3 dogs who bark non stop all day and into the night. I picked this place to have a peaceful stay and recover from surgery that situation made it very difficult. We also thought we were renting the whole home but you only get the upstairs. Your sharing the property and home with other tenants. The home was very cozy and clean and decorated well. Also in a great area. I would rent again if the dogs were not an issue.

Excellent location close to downtown, the design district and the Katy Trail. Many great restaurants and shopping around the area. Karen was a great host and communicator.

Great property in Turtle Creek area
Really nice property in a great neighborhood and location. It is upstairs, so if stairs are difficult this is not the property for you. Otherwise, very comfortable, nicely decorated property.

Great Location
Very comfortable apartment in a quiet neighborhood. Close to lots of activity. Really comfortable beds! One note: the lock seems to stick when unlocking it. You have to use 2 hands and it takes some jiggling and effort. Make sure to turn on the outside light before dark, because it difficult to do all that in the dark.

Fantastic
Karen could not have been more helpful. The apartment was great spacious well appointed and the area one of the nicest in Dallas. Would definitely return

Will Return
The location was excellent and the apartment was very clean and very nicely decorated. Maybe an extra TV in one of the bedrooms? We will seriously consider renting this property again

Girls trip
We enjoyed our stay very much. We were in Dallas to see the Dior exhibit at DMA and Monet exhibit at Kimball in Ft. Worth. We were conveniently located to restaurants and other Dallas sites. The beds were very comfortable and we liked the pretty white linens. We did not use the kitchen other than to make coffee but it had everything someone would need for more involved meal prep. We took turns using the darling sunroom each morning!

Dallas
This is a lovely older home in a beautiful neighborhood just outside Dallas. An upstairs duplex that has everything you need. Loved the proximity to the Katy Trail and the Knox-Henderson district.

Perfect in all ways
Loved it! Clean and nicely decorated. We stayed here for two nights while visiting SMU. It is about a 5 min drive to SMU campus. The flat is up a set of stairs. One flight only. The kitchen is large for a flat, there is a nice sized living room and dining room. Lots of space for us to spread out. WiFi good and easy. This is a neighborhood of homes... not a place to have a big party. Host lives onsite. Texted me to make sure things were good, but was not invasive. 😊 There are 2 king bedrooms with very good beds/mattresses. (Important for us as spouse has bad back.) Nice decor for a vrbo. We shared a bathroom for the three of us without issue. It has its own door so you can access without bugging anyone. Couch is great for a nap! There are extra linens and towels and blankets. Good heater with Nest ... we were here when it was cold. Nearby to groceries and restaurants. Parking on street easy.
We plan to stay here again as we are pretty certain our son will be coming to college here. Much better option than hotel
