We are a group of 8 women friends who stayed at La Costa Villa recently. Our goal was to get away from the cold and dreariness of the Northeast and luxuriate in the sun and sea. All our expectations were met and Villa LaCosta was the highlight our trip. Mary was a delight to work with. Her responsiveness and consideration of our needs was impeccable. If we needed anything it was taken care of. She has a wonderful way of creating a luxurious space: lots of lovely items for us to enjoy from snacks to bubble bath, quality linens, appliances, furnishings, and more. Everything was amazing. The rooms were all lovely and beds very comfortable. Hearing the ocean at night was indeed bliss. I grew up in the neighborhood so it was a magical homecoming. A new boutique & home design space opened up down by the post office that we all enjoyed. The local beach was beautiful and we enjoyed being just a short drive to many nearby beaches for long walks at sunset Bottom line: Villa LaCosta is a dream! I definitely will book again.

Our family spent 4 nights beginning New Year’s Eve. The house was awesome, views from the terrace were expansive, the location was amazing. Walk to Country Kitchen for breakfast burritos and Dukes for a great seaside meal. It also a great location for accessing the city while still enjoying Malibu. The homeowner was very responsive to any hiccups that occurred during our stay. We would definitely go back!

Amazing house! My family came into town for thanksgiving and we drank coffee on the balcony every morning to watch the sunset and walked down to the beach every single day. Mary replied very quickly to everything and helped with the questions and concerns so quickly. Cooking in that big kitchen was so fun with the family! Would love to come back again sometime! 10/10 experience.

Had a great stay here for my daughters wedding weekend! The house is as described and the view of the ocean is stunning! Made for great pictures before the event at Calamigos. Would definitely stay here again!!

Excellent location and views! We especially enjoyed our fireside evenings on the deck. Some amenities were disappointing, especially for such an expensive property. Specifically, the TV in the MBR and the microwave on the lower level didn’t work; there weren’t any pillowcases for the extra pillows found in the walk-in closets; toiletries were substandard; and the potted plants on the main deck were dead or dying. We had trouble with the front door access, until the manager explained that the manual latch must be kept disengaged by pressing the button on the side of the door. None of these things prevented us from enjoying our stay, but they detracted from the quality of the accommodations relative to the best VRBO properties at which we have stayed.

The pictures are not a fair reflection of the property. Which was tatty, unhygienic and overall unacceptable or the price paid. We found other accommodation as we were not willing to stay there!

Beautiful property. Very flexible host. Lots of room and three levels. Great view. Plenty full supplies in the property for the kitchen as well as for the bedrooms. A little ways Going to the beach. Overall recommend this property and will not hesitate to come back.

Our family enjoyed our time at this lovely villa overlooking the Pacific. The Restoration Hardware furniture and chandeliers were perfect to create a European vibe. The gourmet kitchen was perfect since all of us enjoy prepping, cooking and sampling our homemade meals! Outdoor spaces were tremendous. Plenty of elegant seating, a large outdoor fire pit keeps you toasty during those cool nights chatting away during sunset. There are private outdoor spaces for several bedroom suites. And the views are all equally

All I can say is VIEW VIEW VIEW… Truly like the Mediterranean. The home is a Tuscan vibe with all of the fine finishings. The linens were luxurious and the living space so comfy. I especially loved all of the beautiful antique like faucets throughout the entire house that had this extra special patina that brought you way back in time. Unfortunately we were there during a severe heat wave so we weren’t able to enjoy the gourmet kitchen as we would have liked but we certainly made the best of it regardless. So close to Paradise Cove which we enjoyed daily, lots of shopping and great restaurants too. Had a lovely time.

We stayed here for our daughter's wedding in Malibu. The home is absolutely gorgeous, spacious, fully equipped and has a spectacular view. It met all of our needs and we were quite sad to leave it. We hope to enjoy a stay there again! Mary was easy to work with and communicated all we needed to know on time. Thank you!

Our stay couldn’t have been any better. Gorgeous home and accommodations with plenty of space. Lots of extra bedding for extra kiddos to enjoy the downstairs living room. Sonos sound system, amazing views of the Pacific Ocean and sound of waves crashing on the shore! Very conveniently located right off PCH and near shopping, restaurants, beaches. So many beaches!!! The host Mary was very gracious and responsive anytime we had a question. We hope to stay here again sometime and highly recommend!!

The home was perfect for a large gathering or just some friends. My favorite part of the house was the kitchen! Yes, the views of Malibu were nice too, but the kitchen was a dream. The bedrooms were also very spacious. I would definitely stay here again.

The home was beautiful and clean. It was right next to the water, Duke's restaurant, and PCH which was convenient. The views of the ocean were amazing. There were beach towels which was awesome. We also appreciated that there were condiments in the fridge and coffee. The only thing to check on is whether your car will be OK to pull into the driveway. Two of our cars bottomed out because they were low and the driveway is short and steep. Other than that, everything was perfect!

One of the most lovely places we have stayed. Great location. My daughter loved sleeping in a room with a chandelier. Clean, great beds (never slept better!) and incredible views. There is a windy road that goes up to this house, which reminded me a bit of driving in St. Barths. So much fun. Wonderful places to eat nearby. Truly magical.

We had one of the most special weekends staying at this beautiful space. It was perfect for a group of us girls to have a weekend retreat to relax and recharge. We felt so comfortable and taken care of. The view, the rooms, the kitchen, the outdoor space - everything had so much care and attention to detail. We did yoga, we meditated, we swam in the ocean. We all walked away feeling so good and are already planning our next stay. Also, Mary is incredible! So responsive and really made us feel at home. I can not recommend this beautiful space enough!

We’ve stayed at many VRBOs over the years and this home was undoubtedly one of our favorites. It was spacious with jaw dropping ocean views and beautifully appointed with everything we could ever need. Mary was incredibly responsive and helpful. We would love to stay here again.

Stayed here in early December for a "working holiday" - two couples. House was everything the pictures showed and more. Sunsets on the deck were incredible and the house was overall very comfortable and relaxed. More than enough space for all of us to work from without interfering with each other. Once we worked through some of the quirks with TVs, Nest, etc., we had a great two weeks. Mary was really responsive and helpful.

This home is beautiful, when I walked inside it was definitely a breathtaking moment! The sounds of the Ocean waves, was just so relaxing. I didn’t want to leave when it was time to go. I will be returning very soon. The host was very nice and the home was very clean.
