Your private home get away! Escape the hotels and large crowds and enjoy time on Lake Michigan. This spectacular home is located in the first block near South Beach and is a destination spot for families and friends. Have a seat on the wrap-around deck to BBQ, socialize, and enjoy the views and waves of Lake Michigan. Clear views of the amazing sunsets from the front deck. Steps to the beach!

This year, we have completely redone the large deck that wraps around the house, as well as added a larger deck in the back. It's bigger, better, and a wonderful viewing spot for the sunset over the lake.

When you step inside, an open-floor plan greets you and features a large great room with many windows to enjoy the summer breezes and a view of the lake. A kitchen with brand new stainless steel appliances and an island, and a large dining area to entertain is equipped with everything you need for your stay. The large main-floor primary bedroom, bathroom, and laundry room make the home comfortable for guests of all ages. Head up stairs and find 3 bedrooms and a full-bath: two are nicely sized for queen beds, and the third is a bunk room, sleeping as many as 4-6 guests!

Ready for a stroll? You're one-block from the beach, Kid's Corner park, and St. Basil's Church! The South Haven Pier, an ice-cream at Kilwin’s or breakfast/shopping in downtown can all be yours in a 10 minute walk. Wifi and premium cable TV, parking is not a problem on this public street home with a large driveway and a garage.

Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook at home or grill on the deck while enjoying the sunset.

The house has everything you need for your beach visit. A wagon for bringing your things to the beach. Beach toys, beach chairs, sun shelters, umbrellas, etc.

The shady back yard has a hammock for relaxing and naps outdoors.

In the winter, enjoy ice skating downtown, skiing in Bittersweet, or holiday shopping on Phoenix Street!

This house was located in beautiful South Haven. It was a great size with plenty of room for my family of 5 adults and 2 small children. It could comfortable hold even more people. The deck was great. Quick communication from Stephanie. It was within a block walk to a Kids corner park. The park was perfect for children of a variety of ages. The house is located about 1 block walk to the blue stairs that lead to Lake Michigan. Beach by the blue stairs was great and not busy. It was an easy walk to everything in downtown South Haven. Would highly recommend this house and would love to stay there again.

My family and I had the most wonderful week in South Haven at the Ohana House! The house and location exceeded all of our expectations. There is so much to do in the area (and kid friendly!). We had some minor issues at the beginning of our week but the owners were very responsive and took care of things immediately. I would recommend it to any one looking for a fun place to stay.

This house worked very well for our family of 9 which includes our 5 yo and 20 month old grandsons. The kitchen is very well stocked including plates, cups, utensils and booster seats for the kids. Great location. Just a short walk to the beach and walkable distance to downtown. The house had a great deck we enjoyed sitting on and great play area for the youngest. If we make it back to South Haven, we try to stay here again.

This property has it all

From communication with Stephanie, the house, the amenities, the location...Ohana House has it all. Everything needed for kids is supplied. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are good sized. This older home is airy and open; clean, updated and very cute. The location is awesome. We walked and rode our bikes to town and the beach easily, multiple times during our stay. The view from the front patio is so nice. The surrounding area is very pretty and the parks nearby, both down the street and at the beach are convenient with kids. If you sleep with the windows open you can hear the waves. Many details were thought of and put into this home. We hope to stay here again.

Stephanie is a wonderful and responsive host. The location of this property couldn't be better and the home was very well equipped for my three small children. We did encounter an issue with a failed appliance during our stay and Stephanie had a repair person out that same day, which happened to be a Sunday. Would definitely stay again.

Plenty of room for family with teenagers or young kids. One master on the main floor is good for family with infants, while older kids and adults are upstairs. Open floor plan for games and TV watching is great for the family to hang out. 3-minute walk to beach but 15-minute walk to main part of town. Overall a great stay!

Couldn’t ask for a better beach house . It’s definitely a 10+. Location is perfect! House was open concept, clean and roomy. Decor was lovely. Kitchen had every utensil & appliance you could want. Also had outdoor grill. Owner responded promptly to emails. My family of 9 would definitely like to return to this beach rental.

The house was great! The living room and couch were great for games, puzzles and movie watching. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, utensils. The neighborhood, view and easy walk to the beach was amazing. We couldn't believe it truly was a 5 minute walk from the house to the sand with the beach chairs, umbrellas and sand toys (which the host provides) to actually relaxing and enjoying the waves. Host was prompt with any questions or concerns. Wonderful stay!
