This ground floor apartment is located just a few steps from public beach access and only 3 blocks from restaurants & bars. You can enjoy a day on the beach and the evening dining at one of the many locally owned eateries, each with its own unique style. Access is via coded lockbox. Amenities include a washer & dryer, a fully equipped kitchen, off street parking, as well as a flat screen TV with cable and free Wi-Fi. We look forward to meeting you and hope you enjoy your stay at Folly Beach!This apartment has its own entrance as well as off-street parking. The "rocking chair" front porch will provide sounds of ocean waves while you sit and relax.

The location was perfect! A minute walk from an uncrowded beach could not be beat. The host was kind enough to lend us beach towels for our stay and there were beach chairs available. Since the property is slightly below ground, there was a slight musty smell. Overall it was clean and tidy. The furniture could be improved with a bigger, more comfortable couch. Didn't seem like enough room to hang out and watch tv for the 4 of us. The mattresses were also not comfortable but I'm partial to a firmer bed.

Perfect location for a charleston trip. 1 minute walk to the beach and a short walk to the main strip of great restaurants and bars. Woke up every morning to have coffee and watch the sunrise on the beach.

Great location. Not the most comfortable unit as it is all concrete and masonry. The kitchen layout is poor. The couch will give you a concussion if you don't lean back carefully. The location is great and the owners were easy to contact.

I wasn’t able to make the trip for health reasons, but my husband, son, and daughter in law went. They said it was perfect, a great location, and so relaxing. They enjoyed it so much that they were content staying at Folly Beach and never went and toured Charleston. We would rent again.

It is just what we were looking for. Everything you need - nothing that you don’t. You can’t beat the location. We were so happy when we realized it was literally a 45 second walk to get to our chairs on the beach. Loved this vacation.

This place was just as described, and was perfect for us. Great location to the beach and walking distance to the town. Less than 30 minute drive into Charleston. Plenty to do for us and my 21 year old son. He had the best time!!

The location of this property was perfect. Close enough to walk to restaurants and stores. The beach was right across the street with public access. The property could use a little TLC with new bedroom furniture but in all it was OK.

I hesitated to leave a review because of selfish reasons, I didn't want more people to know about the gem of a place we have found! Everything was perfect for us and we hope to be back real soon. Many thanks to the owners, we had a wonderful time! All I can really say is super clean, comfy beds, everything we needed & location, location, location!

Great location! Just across the street from public access to the beach. The unit was very clean and was stocked with anything you might need for your stay. Having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was great. Owners were very welcoming and helpful.

The place is a basement apartment of a two level house. The floors are concrete, so it makes the space feel more humid and wet than it normally would be. It is alittle dark because of being a basement apartment. The place was alittle dirty in the sense that its hard to reach spots and its an old building--there is some dirt/grime that you just cant clean away. The space felt alittle cramped when you bring in the kids, the floors are scary if you have an infant crawling around and the furniture is dated and needs replacing--just kinda feels like it was all hand me downs from deceased Grandma's attic. But, lets talk about the pluses! Great location Washer and dryer in unit The porch facing the ocean is magical at night. Did I mention the location? That is what your paying for! If your lodgings are not your priority but location is? Rent this unit, you won't be mad!!

Pros: very clean, close to beach, functional Cons: dungeon -like feel with cinder blocks all around and no views, other than small porch. If you like feeling claustrophobic, try the showers -think tiny, tiny, tiny, phone booths. And no there isn’t an outdoor shower either.

Everything you need

The apartment has everything you need to kick back and relax. The beach is just steps away and chairs, umbrella and boogie boards are all available for use. We were also able to comfortably walk to the shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Easy process. Clean. Perfect location. Good atmosphere. Yay for working windows so we could capture ocean breezes when in the rental. This place had most of the basics you’d expect, though if you plan to heat things in the oven, you will need to bring or buy a pan or disposable aluminum sheet. We couldn’t find any but were able to make use of some aluminum foil. Nothing bad in this... I’d stay here again.

The unit and propert was clean and very roomy. The neighborhood was safe and the location of the unit was right across from the beach with beach access!!! The management was outstanding as I needed to book another night and they were very accommodating. Would highly recommend this property..
