About this house rental

Well maintained, fresh and clean 3 bedroom holiday house just 50 metres to beautiful swimming beach, the perfect beachside holiday base. There are plenty of internationally known wineries, boutique breweries, gourmet cheese, olive & chocolate factories conveniently dotted throughout the gorgeous countryside in between this laid back holiday locale and Dunsborough (just 15km) & Margaret River (only 45km). This holiday home has been priced attractively in the short term to quickly gain bookings and our experience with letting other holiday homes of various comparison nearby suggests it will quickly begin to book up so it may pay to book your dates now to avoid disapointment.

Fabulous location but not value for money

Fabulous location but not value for money

We enjoyed our stay because of the proximity to the beach and the property manager was super helpful, even sending a fan when one of the existing fans broke. However, given the price per night, the house is not good not value for money compared to the 10-12 other places i have stayed in the south west: sticky tape on the light switch, no front light, bug zapper outside didn't work and there were lots of insects, really old kitchen, fans that were completely useless (except 1), aircon only in the lounge (it was very hot in the house!), a fridge that froze everything even on medium setting and was super rickety, bathroom railing fell off, 3 rolls of toilet paper for 8 nights and so on. It wouldn't take much to spruce it up with some quality fittings and a new fridge - I think the existing ones were Kmart? The many pictures of the outside area on the site did indicate that the inside wasn't the selling point of the house. I know one can't control it but the rats running along the fence at night were a bit much too! But as I said, location, location, location. Great community oriented beach, tap out the front of the house so you can wash up...all made it a good trip. Thank you for asking for feedback.

Girls Getaway

I took my daughter and her friends for a getaway after finishing year 12 (they didn't want to attend leavers). The house was easy to find and a fantastic location in regards to beach and main roads. The girls were able to head out for the day and loved coming back and chillin at the beach or at the house. It was very well resourced, heaps of games and DVDs and we could even log into our netflix account. Thankyou to Tania for allowing us to stay at your 'home away from home'. I got to chill and hang out too. 😁

Location was perfect! Literally down the road from the beach, and a dog friendly one too! Was so relaxing and had everything you could possibly need! Fire pit and movies was a great touch too! While process was super easy and would definitely come back, thanks again!

Clean tidy, good condition for age. Pet friendly and enclosed yard that was spacious and suitable for dogs. Great location almost right on the beach and midway between Busselton and Dunsborough.

The place was nice and very close to the beach. When I arrived, the cleaner seem to skip mopping the floor and there were crumbs on the dining floor. There were no coffee in the kitchen. These are small things but need to be checked before new guest coming. The lawn need tidying up as well. The rest of the house was nice and plenty of hot water. Thank you.

It was lovely being so close to the beach where dogs were also allowed. This meant that with minimal organisation and luggage we were able to go to the beach and not have the wet sandy dog in the car on the way back ;-)

Great location between Busselton and Dunsborough

Good backyard but it rained so much we didn't use it. Handy location and quiet at night, with good paths along the coast. Small market nearby has a fantastic rock and gemstone stall and kids 'rock pool'. House is comfortable but noise carries between rooms so if you have a loud snorer on the trip there will be no escape

A simple 1970s house on a quiet street 100 metres from a sheltered beach. One bathroom with sep toilet. Relaxed outdoor area with french doors opening from kitchen area. Aircon in main living area. Washing machine and washing line useful for beach towels etc. Furniture, beds and fittings are showing their age and won't meet everyone's comfort needs. Cool nights during our stay meant the lack of ceiling fans or aircon in bedrooms was not a problem. We loved sitting outside and walking to the beach and the friendly locals.

Generally as described and quite clean with a great location. I had a little issue that HomeAway didnt send any entry issues and I had to contact host last minute but was sorted. Some items very old and you can hear everything everyone else does in the house as its all quite loud and walls are veneer. No firewood although there was a firepit and BBQ was dirty, so we could only use one side of it.

Great location, quiet street. Great backyard for my fur baby. We loved the fire pit, although it would be nice to have a usable hammock as pictured on the website. Great size home to have your family stay. Loads of board games. We would stay there again.

Great location .However found Accomadation to be tired and needing a spring clean.A number of items old and needing replaced.However these things can be rectified and would not stop me from returning.Lots of board games etc for kids,and great for dog.Quiet location .
