About this apartment rental
This vacation Studio-Suite is located in the heart of the World famous OCEAN DRIVE/ART DECO DRIVE. This ART DECO building was converted into Suites.
Everything inside the Suite includes furniture, amenities, and a 55" QLED TV with Surround Stereo System. The Suite has a full kitchen with new appliances and a bathroom with tub and shower. Stepping-out of the Suite, you will be enjoying what South Beach is all about, the white sandy tropical beach with 360 degrees of scenery, and full of nightlife, clubs, bars, boutiques, museums, theaters, and international restaurants with delicious cuisines. Across the Condominium is Lummus Park bordering the beach with recreational activities and playgrounds for volleyball, basketball with public bathrooms and outdoor showers, cement path for roller-skaters, runners, walkers, and for tourists access to the beach.
Parking is available thru parking meters along Ocean Drive and its cross streets. The less expensive indoor parking is: City of Miami Beach Parking located on the corner of 7th street and Collins Avenue (entrance is thru Washington Ave and 7th Street because 7th St is One Way Street). Please keep in mind that the rate of parking in Miami Beach depends on the location and vary per day of the week and festivities around the South Beach. The further the parking is to the water/beach, the less expensive you will find the parking. Valet parking is also available by private companies throughout Collins Ave and Ocean Drive starting on 6th Street to 15th Street and their parking rates vary on the day of the week, weekends, and festivities around South Beach. OCEAN DRIVE IS OPEN One Way for Vehicles from North to South (from 15th St to 5th St).

Alberto was great at answering my emails, he also was extremely generous extending my check out time. My plane was delayed and left in the afternoon instead of the morning and Alberto allowed us to stay in his place until the time we left to the airport.
The apartment is right across the beach, and at walking distance to almost everything. There are many restaurants to eat around the place too and a CVS with a mini market near by.
The only problem I personally had was the noise coming from the restaurant next to the apartment. At night the music plays till midnight. This wasn’t too bad, but it starts again early in the morning. I have problems falling asleep and couldn’t sleep in because of the daily morning music. This might not be an issue for some people, but for me it was.
Also I was expecting to have a view of the street or the ocean from this apartment, but the picture was taken from the top of the building, so there is not a view.

This unit was clean and easy to walk to beach, dinner or night out. It was very hot while we were there but the air conditioning worked great. Never got hot at night.

Unit was empty & tidy once able to check in on time at 3pm. We arrived in the area at 10:30 am & there was no option for early check in. We paid $45 to hold luggage at local business recommended by host described as 2 blocks away. The storage location was actually 5.5 blocks away. Helena (local manager/housekeeping) was very friendly & helpful at check in although seemed very busy with multiple units requiring service on same day.
Cleanliness of unit was not thorough. Many surfaces were “wiped down” but there were dirty & greasy surfaces under & behind just about everything in the apartment. There was mold on the shower curtain. Nothing had been “deep cleaned” in this unit for a long time. Basic utensils & dishes were adequate but required washing prior to use. Every knife in the unit was barely sharp enough to cut a banana. Even the scissors were horribly dull.
Stove was under powered & could barely boil water.
Loud music from onsite restaurant directly outside of window every night until 12am.
Laundry controlled through mobile app (Wash Connect) did not work. Thanks to Helena for helping us clean our laundry through her personal mobile phone.
Listing advertised a hot tub as an available amenity. There were none on the site.
Bed was adequately comfortable & TV/WiFi setup was fantastic. Location is great. Beach supplies were older but usable.
If your priority is location and a place to sleep, this place is adequate. For your own meal prep and early bedtime, look elsewhere.

Not for the older crowd or hard to fall asleep-ers. Can't beat the location - convenient to everything. Step out of the building and you are in the middle of it all. Beach easy access across the street. This unit was not quiet - directly next door to bar that doesn't shut down until 2am which is great for the party crowd. The space itself was comfortable and sufficient, met all of our needs. Would definitely recommend it for a younger crowd.

We booked this for a girls weekend getaway and it was PERFECT! Had everything we needed including beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella. It’s located directly across the beach as well so it was easy to transport all our items right over and have a great day by the water. The restaurant outside the condo has super good food and drinks! Staff at the condo was friendly and had great communication! Would definitely book again, the 4 of us were very comfortable there!

This home is just what we were looking for; cozy without being tight in space, incredibly clean, boho beach vibe. Enough space for more adults, but we loved that it was just us two with lots of space. The guest house is an added plus, equally as clean, and well appointed. I have only good things to say about this property, and would rent again and again. The deck on the water offered so much. We saw much wildlife just sitting and watching, and could sit there for hours. The street is very quiet. Master bedroom bed is incredibly comfortable. Plenty of everything: towels, blankets, dishes. We couldn't have hoped for more.

We really enjoyed our stay, perfect for two people. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent location, near many of the things we enjoy like the beach, restaurants, shopping and marina. Been to South Beach many times and would definitely return to this rental.

Location and cleanliness of condo was excellent. Size was perfect for quick 2 day stay for two. Only issue was window coverings allowed too much light in at night. Due to the bright street lights outside the room remained lit at night. The coverings are louvers. Need another shade underneath to block light at night.

The pull-out sofa bed was broken and not usable as a bed. Luckily, the actual bed was king size, so one of our daughters slept with us and the other on the sofa. The owner apparently knew about it because he sent someone in to look at it during our stay and we hadn't contacted anyone about it. So why wasn't it fixed or replaced before we arrived? Additionally, there was no rectification of the problem during our stay. The woman who let us in at check-in was on the property but did not answer our text or phone call when we arrived. We couldn't into the property as front door was locked. Other tenants came out while we were there, so we managed to get into the building. We received a phone call from her earlier in the day and she told us our apartment number. When we went upstairs to it, she was on the floor. Location was wonderful and property was as advertised other than the above.

Location was great! Right across the street from the beach and on Ocean Drive. We also had an easy time getting Uber’s to go into Miami. The beach chairs and umbrella was nice, otherwise we’d probably be spending money on the beach to rent them.
There is a restaurant right outside, so do know you will hear noise until probably 11pm. Some lights do also stream in with the blinds closed, but it didn’t bother us. If noise or outside light may be an issue for you, the Art Deco area in general may not be the place for your stay.

We had a late night arrival into Miami ahead of a cruise. This was a great location, easy to access, close to beach, activites, etc. We were there two nights and had no issues at all. The air conditioning worked great, the bed was comfortable. We would stay again. Thanks for the great stay!

Great location right on the beach and awesome restaurants and things to do all in walking distance. Wasn’t prepared for the all the parking costs, but I should have planned on that. (we used the garage) . Suggest dropping off luggage before parking in the garage . Condo is spacious modern studio apartment style.

Close to beach and many restaurants Very convenient.... Not very enjoyable trying to sleep next to a restaurant blaring music until midnight. They definately need a do not disturb sign so management doesn't try to let themself into your rental at 9:30pm when the whole family is sleeping!

Best part of this stay is the location. It is centrally located on South Beach and close to a lot of restaurants and the beach. That being said, don't bring a lot of luggage because there's almost never on street parking available and the closest parking garage is two blocks away. It's loud until about midnight (during COVID curfew) and there's no view from the room itself.
The check in process said that we would be met in the lobby but we weren't. The security of the building had a thick accent and spoke very quickly. She was difficult to understand. She was irritated we didn't immediately have the building security code. I would definitely tell Helena you are there when you park instead of when you arrive at the building. Helena met us in the room, she very polite and helpful.
The linens were clean and midrange quality. There was a small amount of sand in the room. The room was mostly clean but definitely could have used a deep clean. You could tell things had just been wiped down instead of scrubbed. This is all pretty typical of a VRBO.
I think this property would be best for people going there to party. Most people in the building were pretty rude which is also typical of South Beach. You have to ride an old elevator because the stairs are for emergency only. The lobby and halls are decorated in art deco style. It looks pretty but there's often the smell of mildew, fish or smoke (cigarettes and pot) in the halls and elevator. Not in the room.
The bathroom had great water pressure and the bed was pretty comfortable. I saw two of the typical Florida water bugs in the room. My opinion is there are bugs everywhere on the planet, it wasn't infested or anything. Overall, it was about what I expected for the low cost.

This was a great location to stay in South Beach. Across from the beach, great food and night life all around. We ate at Big Pinks twice and loved it. Parking was less then a block away and was 20 bucks for 24 hours using the city lot at 7th and Collins. Thanks

Rarely does a rental look better than the online photos as this unit does. Unit was large and impeccably clean and the location across the street from the beach was just what we wanted. South Beach is noisy and crowded but also vibrant and diverse so it’s not for everyone but we loved it for a few days. Our contact person, Helena, was charming and efficient and very helpful. We kept on bumping into her on the streets near our unit and she was always cheerful and gave us some great local knowledge.

WOW! What a value! This property is the bargain of SoBe. its hard to believe that such clean, secure and just across Ocean Drive from the beach property can come at this price. the care taker Helena was awesome as was the owner! Highly recommend it.
