4 Bedroom 3 Full Bath Home on the Canal in Marathon, a 15 minute boat ride to the ocean. Private Heated Pool. Private 35 Foot Boat Dock. Only one trailer on property. Can park trailer next to the 4 car - carpad. Includes, Porta crib, High chair seat, Outdoor Freezer, Fish Cleaning table, Water and Electric on Dock, Internet, Blender, Electric Griddle, Coffee Maker, Outside Propane Grill, Blue tooth small Radio, Beach Towels, Bath Towels, Iron, Dishes and Pots. Fully stocked Kitchen. Bedrooms include 3 Kings and and 1 Twin Bedroom and 1 Queen Sofa sleeper with extra pillows,sheets and blankets. The entire home is on one level but there is a flight of stairs to reach the unit. All Bedrooms include a New Flat Screen TV. Just a short walk to Sombrero Beach. Sleeps total of 10 people. The house was clean and comfortably accommodated all 8 of us (4 kids and 4 adults). We brought our boat and tied it up at the dock with no issues even though there are no cleats.
The house is a little difficult to get in and out of with a vehicle though due to it being right on a bend in the busy road and parking was tight between our two trucks and trailer but doable.
The oven was completely broken when we arrived but they did have a 2 burner hot plate available. They replaced the oven during our stay but dropped by completely unannounced one morning to do it. So communication could have been better with the property manager. The propane tank on the grill was empty as well so we had to replace that during our stay.
The map location is wrong so just make sure you double check the address.
Overall a good experience and I would stay here again! The pool was great, perfect after a day on the boat or at the beach!

Good location. Nice size place. Had a bait deep freezer, nice perk. Nice swimming pool. Nice dock if you have a boat but no ladder or tie downs. No lighting on dock either.
Owner reacted quickly to some minor issues, they were easy to work with.
What would make this place a 5 star? Need the sliding glass doors in the living area to have blinds or tint, it gets hot in that room with no window covering.
Front bedroom on the water is hotter than other rooms, it did cool down some but it was hotter than other rooms, maybe tint those windows as well. There is ample closet space but some extra seating in the family room would be nice. Really can only seat 5. We brought a chair in from a bedroom and a couple table chairs so we could all sit.

The door was unlocked when we arrived. The instructions to get into the house were wrong. The info in the house did not match what was provided in the email sent at all. The info provided in the email was wrong as well. The beds were terrible and the beds didn’t have comfortable bedding just sheets. There was cable remotes but none of them worked the tv. Overall, it was not a good rental and would not recommend to others.

We really enjoyed this property. We brought our boat. we went for evening cruises through all the canals. It was a bit of a haul to get off shore but about the same if you were staying gulf side. We brought our paddle boards for the canal only issue was there was no ladder to get back on the dock. Plenty of parking. Wish the bedroom with the 2 twins had 1 of the kings just for bathroom/bedroom combo, but we made it work. Would definitely stay here again!

Property was great, very clean and the description was spot on! We all loved the location, perfect bike ride down to Sombrero Beach, not too far, and not to short! If we needed anything George with property management was there in no time to take care of it and he was very nice. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun! We will be returning for another stay in the future!!

The property worked out perfectly for our family vacation. We had our 34’ boat at the dock and enjoyed the benefits. A little bit of a ride through the canals to either the ocean or harbor but we found it relaxing and enjoyable. Would recommend a water hose connection at the pier but otherwise it was great. Had an issue with the a/c that quit working on 12/23. Contacted the maintenance man and it was taken care of the next day, Christmas Eve! Pool was great as we had the heat on and our grandson loved it, even on the cooler days!

With previous reviews I was a little skeptical. However, very please with everything. The home was very clean, well furnished and decorated very nicely. Was glad it allowed a dog. Would recommend highly.

Up arrival there were ants all over the kitchen. The property manager came and sprayed but still had ants. The floors were filthy as well as the living room furniture. The door handle fell off every time we used it. Water pressure in the kitchen was minimal. Bathroom holes were filled with toilet paper. The dishwasher leaked all over the floor once Outside chairs had rusty legs and were dangerous for little feet. Desperate need for cleats on the dock. Overall needs a lot of cleaning and repairs. Location was good and the pool was good. If not for the location, I would have given it a one star.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house is in a perfect location to the beach as well as the grocery stores. We enjoyed being able to dock the boat at the house, and jump in to fish anytime. We also really enjoyed the pool, it was the perfect temperature for April!

Convenient location. Short walk or ride to Sombrero Beach, Publix and other shopping. The house was fairly well equipped but could use some beach chairs and a new umbrella. Pool was well maintained and heated, which made the ladies happy. The home was very dusty, floors were “sticky”, so it could use a good, thorough cleaning. Overall, a nice place.

The floors were very dirty. When we all showed up we took our shoes off and were walking around. My daughter noticed her sons feet were very dirty. We all looked at our feet and we had to wash all the floors. Otherwise, we had a great time and the house was amazing. Thank you

Location was great! Pool was heated everything was clean and plenty of towels was great! Some feedback maybe newer bikes, more condiments in kitchen and a Keurig coffee machine would have been nice some towel hooks in bathrooms too.

We stayed at the house right after the Key West Half and loved it. The property was in a great central location for exploring the Keys, as you were not far from anything. We popped back down to Key West another time for the day and it was an easy drive home after our adventures. The property was clean, well maintained, our kids lived in the pool when we weren’t out, and the adults enjoyed all the outdoor seating. This house is on our short list for future stays, for sure. Only suggestion for the house would be a tea kettle. We are a group of tea drinkers, and while clean, running water through the coffee pot wasn’t the best since there’s the lingering coffee flavor.

This house is perfect for family and friends. 4 spacious bedrooms and common areas provide plenty of room. The heated pool in the winter is a hit. Close to beach and many attractions. Local contact is friendly and responsive. We had a great week.

Home was clean with all necessary amenities. Property manager was responsive and helpful! About 30-40 minute idle to open water with small beautiful bays along the way. Close to Boot Key, light house and 7 mile. Walking distance to Publix.

since we arrived, the dishwasher didnt work, the ac ran hot. took someone 6 days to come out to fix and didnt finish fixing the running toilet, no pillow cases on the pillows., towels were put away wet, the last three days no internet, therefore no tv either, no cover on the major sliding glass door, so you couldnt even sit in the leaving room in the afternoon to part of the evening because of the sun. this property is run on bare bones. it was a disappointing experience for sure

This house was a great find for our family! We had people gathering from across the globe and it was easy to find, had enough parking for all the cars, and was super close to the grocery store so we could stock up for our trip. The house itself was clean and well prepared, it had everything we needed! We used the bikes often because the beach was only 1.5 miles away. One of the bike tires got a flat and they had someone over to fix it immediately. Awesome! The pool and patio area was fantastic for gathering and lounging, wish we had brought a Bluetooth speaker, but we enjoyed the neighbors’ music instead :) we had events in key largo and key west, so this location was ideal. Thank you!

TIPS- BRING flat sheets for chair , love seat and couch. They are disgusting. I brought mine because it was in another review .
BRING - a Swiffer sweeper the floors are disgusting all of our feet were black . I bought one and the first day I cleaned the floors 3 times until clean . It was like mud, taking it off later by layer .
I did not leave it , to expensive for me to leave it . After that
it was perfect . Publix is half mile down the road . Wonderful house .

This is our 3rd time traveling to Marathon Key and our second time renting a house on sombrero road. Pro’s: The house itself is nice. The private pool and location on the channel is perfect in proximity to sombrero beach, nearby shops, grocery store and pharmacy. We love staying in the middle keys as it’s easy to drive both north and south. Love the washer and dryer feature. Cons: we walked into a dirty house. We could tell the house was superficially cleaned, but it was not swept, the counters had dried food on them still, the bath tubs had black dirt and foot prints in them (which we easily cleaned off) and most of the beds had hair on the sheets and pillows. When we first got there I had to sweep as there was so much stuff on the floor. The couch is stained so bad that we were disgusted to sit on them. There are no extra sheets. We ended up washing all of our bedding and noticed there wasn’t enough pillow cases in the house for all the pillows. We ended up going to Fred’s beds and furniture to buy twin sheets to cover the couch and extra pillow cases. I was hoping the reviews on cleanliness weren’t accurate, as the reviews earlier in 2021 when we booked, were much more favorable than the last six months. Also, The room with twin beds has an issue with ants (not totally uncommon for a tropical region) but totally treatable. Also make sure to wash all dishes before you use them, that was also disgusting. Coffee left in the coffee maker. The dishwasher isn’t installed properly. It works fine, but moves all over the place. The communication with the property manager was also subpar and at one point it took him weeks respond back to me about extending our stay by a night. Also we had issues with the toilets in the master bath and twin room just not flushing. My husband is a plumber and was able to fix the issue, but they need new toilets. And the fire alarm batteries went dead in the twin room and we had to go get 9v batteries so it would stop going off.

We loved our stay here and would definitely return. It is spacious and we LOVED the pool. It is close to stores, restaurants and the beach. The only negatives were lack of bed linens. (There were no pillowcases for extra pillows and no linens at all for pull out couch) The main issue we had was cleanliness. The living room furniture cushions are very dirty and stained up. We actually took the bed spreads off the beds and put them on the couches to sit. The floors were also filthy. Just walking through the house. Within minutes everyones bottom of their feet were black. This was all week. White socks could not even be bleached clean. If it weren't for the fact that house definitely needs a good cleaning, I would have given the property 5 stars!
