About this house rental
This home is two blocks from the beautiful wide no-drive beach. Sufficient parking for a trailered boat or RV. Much to do, birding, fishing, biking (beach cruisers included), Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, Marine Science Center, Daytona Intl. Speedway, and depending on traffic, 90 minutes to Orlando's attractions.
Linger Longer Bungalow is peaceful and joyous. Just remodeled, everything is pristine with lots of amenities. The welcome basket is a fun taste of local Florida. Come visit!

Our recent stay in Daytona Beach Shores at the Linger Longer was a delightful experience, earning a 5-star rating. Here's a detailed account of our week:
**Pros:**
The location of this VRBO is truly fantastic. Just a street away from the beach, it offers easy access while being situated in a very safe and quiet neighborhood. The premium location ensured a peaceful stay, with the neighbors and surroundings being exceptionally quiet.
The VRBO owner goes above and beyond to provide everything you could possibly need. From crayons, markers, and coloring books for the kids to K-cups for the Keurig, every detail is thoughtfully considered. We especially appreciated the washer and dryer in the garage, which was very convenient for traveling with our young son.
A pleasant surprise was the goodies left for us in the fridge by the owner, who was always readily available to help if needed. The house is well-equipped with excellent water pressure, a highly efficient HVAC system, and a reliable dishwasher. The adorable decor added a charming touch, though parents should note that two pictures contain some curse words.
**Cons:**
There were a few minor issues during our stay. The carbon monoxide detector kept going off, so we ended up unplugging it. Additionally, the whole house had a damp smell, and the second bedroom had an odor reminiscent of sewage or rotten eggs. We recommend the owner install a large dehumidifier to address these concerns.
Overall, We highly recommend this VRBO!

First and foremost, Sue is a great host, friendly and very responsive to messages. Wish she had a place in every town we visit- best VRBO experience we’ve had! Welcomed with a birthday greeting and sign along with a basket of goodies inside. So many extras above and beyond included, the location was convenient to everything, and the neighbors were very friendly. A folder with suggestions for local activities is included. Can’t wait to come back again next year with the family :)

This place is a fantastic vacation spot. Even though we didn't have any children or pets, they make sure to fully accommodate for them. Even small things, like a full spice rack, bath robes, and a welcome basket to greet you. The only complaint I could have is the tv's arent great, but thats not what you're there for. Totally recommend!

From the check in process, to the cleanliness of the home, the welcome sign and basket, to the checkout everything was just perfect. Not to mention the short walk to the beach and lovely gardens. If we are in the Daytona area again we will definately look to stay with Sue again.

We enjoyed the clean and comfortable space, especially the kitchen, which was very thoughtfully stocked and made cooking and dining very easy. Sue put a lot of thought into providing good information for visitors and proving a comfortable and well maintained space. Would we visit again or recommend to others? Yes!

We really enjoyed our time there. The home was in great condition. Appreciated the welcome sign and all the treats inside. The owners did an outstanding job. We really felt welcome and that they appreciated us being there. Next time come down that is where we will stay.

The best decision ever made was booking Sue's bungalow. From the moment we pulled in, we were greeted with a custom welcome sign and a goody basket that had us in smiles. The property was perfect and very clean. Being pet friendly was amazing for my pup and the house had pet bowls and even a crate for us to use. I highly recommend this location if you need a perfect spot to escape.

Location is amazing and house is spectacular! We booked this house because of all the 5star reviews and WOW we were not disappointed! House is clean, well kept, and thoughtfully decorated. Kitchen is fully stocked and conveniently organized. Bedrooms are spacious and well-finished. Bathrooms are very nice and showers are fantastic. Outdoor areas are well kept and private. Host is unbelievably helpful and courteous. Out of all the “luxurious” houses in the area we’ve seen, this beats them all by a long shot and we will hands-down visit again. Would give more stars if I could! Thank you Sue!

We enjoyed our stay at Linger Longer. We had everything we needed and then some! Being nature lovers, the backyard "butterfly and bee environment" was perfect for us. Look forward to returning next year.

Our stay was great! Sue was super hospitable. There was a welcome sign and a welcome basket that included treats for our fur babies 💛 The house was clean and organized and offered plenty (games, a few grocery items, cleaning supplies). The location is awesome, as well. Close to the beach, grocery store, and a local karaoke bar! Definitely recommend!

We love this area! We have been coming every Summer for a week for 9 years. This is the 6th year in a row we have stayed at Sue's Linger Longer Bungalow :-) We cannot say enough about her hospitality and how she maintains this house. We are a family of 5 (3 Boys) and they look forward to our stay every year. Pretty much anything you could need she has at the house (from dishes and cooking supplies to bikes and beach toys).

We enjoyed our stay. The host was very welcoming and accommodating. The kitchen was great with many available condiments in the fridge. Beds were comfy and there were a lot of linens available. We loved the beach bikes! The only negative might be to consider upgrading the living room furniture as it was not very comfortable.

This property was nearly ideal for our needs. Loved the fun, modern decor, nice change from sand dollars and starfish. Very small fenced in area was a nice place to sit with pups, without needing a leash. Neighbors were nice on the ICW side, and overall the neighborhood was quiet. Be aware that the area has a lot of construction going on following the recent storm devastation, we were realistic about this, and luckily the neighbor didn't start banging away until the last couple days there🤪✌️ very clean, I cook more often than eat out, and had no complaints with the kitchen and kitchen tools.
Sue was so welcoming, with a cute sign to greet us and an abundant welcome basket, my husband especially enjoyed the cookies! Since most of our family is in this area, and we formerly lived there for years, we visit often. I will definitely check the availability of Linger Longer before I look elsewhere!

The place was immaculate!!!! It was even better then the photos. We had a lovely personalized welcome sign and a some delicious treats waiting for us when we got in. My daughter and I had a fabulous time. I will definitely be back !!!!!!! 6 stars out of 5!!!

Amazing property that is clean, spacious, and relaxing. Owner provided so many accomodations as well (towels, robes, black makeup remover towel, games, beach gear, bikes). Family friendly place that is 0.2mile walk to the beach. Would rent again!

Super nice and clean. x-tra touches, orange juice, strawberries, and condiments in fridge, gift basket on counter, and everything we needed for the beach, including coolers. We even went to a last minute concert, and she had folding camp chairs available. it was wonderful on the patio, plenty of parking space, and the walk to the beach was fast. We would definitely come here again. The only negative was that the living-room television remote did not work, and the furniture was not comfortable.

First time user of Vrbo. I had many doubts and concerns .
Sue, our hostess, answered every concern and need. We had a better stay than at any hotel or Resort. Many amenities and home completely and comfortably furnished. Neighborhood and neighbors very nice. Due to an unforeseen emergency we were not able to enjoy everything. However it was a great vacation and we definitely want to Linger Longer! Highly Recommend this location.

Quick walk just minutes to the beach. Came in to a nice welcome sign and welcome basket from Sue. Had a couple questions during our stay and she answered within minutes. Everything we could have needed she had in the house, games, bikes, beach toys, etc. Looking forward to staying here again in the future!
