Nothing, I thought it was great

Staff were very friendly
We were disappointed that the first day there was no yoghurt or berries left even though there was still over an hour of service to go. There were also no mushrooms and they ran out of butter. We did ask but was told was no more.
There was more the next day?

Staff were very helpful and friendly
Stayed in the disable room which was not my choice but only single bedroom available when we arrived even after phoning in advance and being told they could change the booking

The staff were all really helpful, we couldn’t believe that they came into the room to service it on Christmas Day. We really didn’t expect to come back to clean towels and additional tea/coffee, it was very appreciated. Very clean and comfortable.
There is nothing about this property that we didn’t like.
4.3
We stay in a LOT of hotels for work and I can honestly say that the staff here (all of them) were nothing short of exceptional .. always very happy to help and always so polite and accommodating even when clearly very busy.
nothing .. all good ..
4.3
Evening meals. Staff were great.
The accessible room was awful. There was no plug in the sink. No shelving for bathroom requirements (soap, deodorant, etc.)
The flooring was slippery when wet and totally wrong for bathroom purposes. I was holding a grab rail when my right foot skidded out from under me. I'd stopped myself from falling but someone else might not be so lucky.
4.3
cleanliness is superb.
rooms are cozy
but the breakfast is a bit expensive and would have preferred a buffet
Staff should be a bit more relaxed. Their faces were not soo warmth

Very pleasant staff spotless rooms. A fried credit to the cleaning staff
Just kept hearing banging doors most of the evening which was most annoying. Hard to know where the noise was coming from. Was in room 11

This is my 2nd stay here as it is 15mins from my brothers house. it is always spotless, staff are really friendly, great food and location is great.
nothing
4.3
Very large room with all facilities
The restaurant lets this down as a location. The staff were trying their best but not enough of them. At least 10 minutes wait every time I went to order at the bar which puts he off staying here again.

I have stayed at the Tulip Queen numerous times. It offers a high standard of cleanliness and comfort. The rooms are 'basic' but very functional and comfortable. The staff are friendly. The meals are standard 'pub grub' and breakfast is good.

Easy access to pub serving food next door

It was really clean and well laid out. Room smelt nice when I first walked in.
Nothing. All good really. I had to ask for an iron and ironing board but that wasn’t a hardship at all. The staff were very friendly all the time and they assisted straight away.

breakfast not great or value

weak shower and pub had little character/ atmosphere

Most of the breakfast was lovely.
The baked beans were horrible, never known my husband not to eat his baked beans. I had them with my omelette and didn't eat anything after the first mouth full.
4.3
The location when travelling across country to East Anglia is perfect. It was a great, easy and clean hotel for a stopover - with the pub for food and drink and even a big petrol station with a Greggs and Subway across the road. Plus the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay here again.
It's only a minor thing - but it would be better to have the hotel attached to the pub, save having to walk outdoors. And I always love a fridge in the room but I know many hotels don't.

Breakfast was very good same quality as last time l stayed there, the rooms are very clean and warm, bathroom also very clean on the whole very well maintained hotel, always a pleasant stay

4.3
clean, well looked after, efficient
the silent breakfast area, I’m not a huge fan of piped music & tv but it’s better than the chewing and clunking sounds of breakfast
4.3
Breakfast was ok after my husband received the hash brown missing from his full English.
We had the carvery on our first night but was disappointed with it as it was not very hot and the roast potatoes were burnt and chewy.
Also the wet room was not very clean.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
