About this house rental
The Stibnite Cabin is a true step back in time. This two bedroom cabin is a five minute walk from downtown McCall surrounded by many other cute, rustic cabins from Stibnite, Idaho. Most of the cabins in the immediate neighborhood were pulled over Lick Creek Summit by horse drawn flatbed.
The Stibnite Cabin has been remodeled and updated but still maintains it's rustic charm and history. The cabin is tastefully decorated with décor indicative of McCall and the many local attractions in the area. The living room features a comfy sofa and reading chair with ottoman. Grab a book, cozy up on the couch and learn about the history of the area (the owner has a collection of books in the living room.) The kitchen is fully stock for those that like to eat in, but don't forget My Father's Place is only a five minute walk away! If things get a bit dirty after a day of adventure in McCall don't worry there is a full sized washer and dryer in the mud room. There are even ski hangers in the mud room so you don't have to worry about leaving your skis on top of the car. In the summer grab the Corn Hole game in the closet and enjoy some time outside in the backyard. After dinner you can even roast marshmallows around the small firepit out back. When its time for bed there are plenty of sleeping options in the cabin.
The master bedroom features a queen sized log bed with fresh linens and cozy comforter. Charge your phone on one of the charging stations on either side of the bed. There is also a large closet for hanging clothes and storing suitcases. Down the hallway at the front of the cabin is the second bedroom. There you will find log bunk bed with a full bed on the bottom and twin bed on top. There is a small desk and full closet in the second bedroom. The bathroom sits down the hallway between the two bedrooms. The tiled tub/shower combo features a mountain themed frosted window that helps to let a bit of light into the bathroom. There is hair dryer in the vanity if you need one and there are extra towels in the linen closet in the hallway.
This comfortable and clean cabin is stocked with everything you will need to enjoy your vacation in McCall and don't forget it is a short five minute walk to downtown McCall and Payette Lake.

Great location! Owner allowed our son to come up from
Boise to join us though we originally only booked for 2 people. Property was perfect for our four day stay and will come back!
Tip: don’t go to Sushi Bar. Service was horrible and food was mediocre. Salmo River Brewery was great!

Location was great on a quiet street, but walkable to downtown. Fenced in backyard was perfect for the dog as well! It was a nice spot in McCall!

I loved the Stibnite Cabin! Cozy, clean and well appointed, I couldn't have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended!

Great location. Tidy Cabin. Amenities easy to use. For my needs, better than competitive price point.
And, as this was a “dog friendly” stay, I found a spacious, fenced-in backyard a huge perk.

We enjoyed our stay at the Stibnite Cabin. It worked very well for the two of us and our dog. We could have walked to town, but a bit far for our dog. Also there was some street construction which made for slower routing in and out.

Excellent home located in close proximity to downtown and lake for convenient strolling around. All amenities provided including bean bag toss and dog toys! Wonderful neighborhood very friendly and welcoming. This is our family's 3rd stay in McCall and 2nd time at the Stibnite Cabin. We will definitely be back and look forward to booking through McCall Outfitters again as their service goes above and beyond. A huge thanks to Mr. Caldwell and his team for making our stay a memorable one!

The Stibnite cabin was perfect for two of us an our canine companions. With just minutes to walk into town and loop by the “dog beach”, it really felt like a home away from home. The location is great - close to Ponderosa park bike trails, downtown, beach, golf course - whatever you want to enjoy in McCall!
Very pleased with how comfortable the queen size bed was in the master bedroom. The only thing “missing” for us was the lack of an outdoor table for dining outside, but the Adirondack chairs were certainly adequate for lounging in the yard. We would 100% choose the Stibnite cabin again!

Nice comfortable cabin-great location near town

Perfect cabin with great decorations and amenities in a central location. Can walk to the lake and restaurants and easy to access.
Two small gripes:
- the HVAC system is loud, so the heater would wake us up at night
- no venting in the kitchen and the smoke alarm would go off all the time when cooking even with the windows open. We had to take the smoke alarm down when cooking.

Nicely remodeled cabin. Very comfortable furnishings. Fenced yard which the dogs loved. Neighborhood street under construction, so some noise and dust. Very clean applicances and surfaces.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Such a great location short easy walk into town. The house was equipped with everything that we needed. Very warm and cozy. We were there in December. It was so nice to be able to have our dogs with us. The yard is fenced, washer and dryer, comfortable furniture, everything we needed was there! I highly recommend!

Lots of very nice little touches, big yard, comfortable furniture. The bed was a bit firm for me, but I'm a side sleeper. It was November, so we didn't use the fire pit, but looked like it would be awesome! Nice gas fireplace! Kitchen had everything you could need. Shovels and poo bags available for dogs. Would stay here again!

This property is very clean, well equipped, comfortable and a close walk to downtown McCall. We enjoyed our morning walk to coffee and the lake. The kitchen is fully stocked, due to this we were able to cook meals each and every day. We took our two dogs with us and everything went perfectly. Absolutely recommend this property! Fantastic stay!

We just finished our third stay in this cabin. It has everything we need for a comfortable stay in McCall. Modest but cozy. This time our good friends joined us and with 4 there wasn't a lot of room for comfortably hanging out indoors in the evening but the quiet backyard was a perfect substitute with 4 Adirondack chairs.
Very clean and well stocked. Great fenced in backyard for our dog too.
See you next year!

Stibniit cabin = great!
Only thing I would negatively comment on was the hat grass not mowed and couch a little I comfy otherwise it met my expectations and was as portrayed. I have never been a VRBO that was so well equipped w everything one could possibly need/want. Very impressive. Our host was very helpful and attentive. I'd love to revisit!

JUST WHAT WE NEEDED!!
This little spot was a charm for us- very well kept-and good for walking about— perfect for our quick weekend— the local host was professional and accommodating but the vrbo overlay really hampered communications and our ability to get any questions answered—

Comfy and very convenient
The owner provide everything anyone would want in this cute house. The inside is fantastic - lots of great decorations, comfy queen bed, all appliances excellent; even has cleaning items and tools. Amazing. Only real complaints are 2: we arrived to find a cracked single ice cube tray - worthless. The Samsung tv is an old model and does not have satellite; there is no DVD player, no firestick etc. I could not cast a program from my iOS iPhone 11.
Very frustrating. There is a smart tv list that has Prime and Netflix, but those are iffy during busy periods. We ended up going to the fantastic 2nd hand store in town and found a $10 DVD player that worked great - we did bring our own DVDs. The lessor answered my text pleas and finally brought us a nice bag of ice, but his attitude left me cold.

Perfect McCall Sanctuary
This is our second stay at this Stibnite cabin. Again, it met all our needs, cozy, well stocked and was in a convenient area to hiking and biking. This time I learned a bit more of the history of this cabin making it even more of a unique stay. The property manager was very responsive and friendly too.
Hope to be back next summer.

We had a wonderful stay in the Stibnite cabin. It exceeded our expectations. Our family would stay in Stibnite every summer for a week if we could. Matt was great and made our trip memorable. McCall Outfitters is the place to rent from in Idaho!

McCall July 6-12 2021
We had the best time in McCall staying in Stribnite cabin. The location of the cabin is so convenient and so close to town, the beach, and the Marina. We loved that we could walk. Our pup loved her nightly walks to town to watch the sunset. The house was clean, the kitchen well equipped and the furniture comfy. I do have a few suggestions: 1st-We we’re there July 5-12. It was hot for McCall! While it cooled off significantly at night it took quite a while for the house to cool down. My suggestion would be to have at least two or maybe more big, good working fans, one for each bedroom. We had one working fan but that was not enough. 2nd-the grass in the yard was long, therefore making it hard to enjoy the outdoor space. Sitting outside with grass to your knees isn’t ideal. Corn hole in tall grass isn’t as fun. And lastly, 3rd-with only 1 bathroom and 3 kids staying it would have been nice if the shower curtain was solid and not see through. If someone is in the shower at least another could brush their teeth. Despite those few inconveniences we had a nice comfortable stay. We would come again.
