The scent when I first walked in, the high level of service and the ipad control in my room. Not to forget the japanese tea set.
Absolutely nothing

Very new place and near the station which was perfect
This is actually my third time at the establishment but unfortunately, my first two times were amazing this time it was kind of weird as the price were very up compared to the last rooms I booked

Excelente ubicación, habitación cómoda. Desayuno correcto.
El lugar donde se hace el desayuno era encerrado. Sin vistas, funcional y nada más.

One of the most beautifully designed and built hotels in the world.

Excellent location! Nice rooms and stylish hotel overall. Robots deliver water and towels. We loved it! Really recommend if you are doing many day trips from Kyoto train station - it is 2 mins away from the hotel!
Nowhere to eat. Both nights we had nowhere to eat as the restaurant was booked out and they refused to do room service. We have never come across something like that before.

Amazing. Most incredible experience and service staying here! Lovely space with award winning design.
Nothing at all.

The hotel enjoys an exceptional location, conveniently situated within a 3-minute walk from Kyoto station. As you step inside, you'll be enthralled by the artistic ambiance reminiscent of a gallery. The rooms truly stand out with their impressive spaciousness, setting them apart from the typical compact accommodations found in Japan. What caught my attention in particular was the thoughtfully designed bathroom, featuring a hook and a bar on the glass door for effortless clothes-changing. Moreover, the dedicated shoe removal area near the entrance and the plush carpeting throughout add to the overall charm of the place.
Furthermore, it's worth mentioning that the room boasts an exceptionally large and luxurious super single bed. With ample space and utmost comfort, it ensures a restful and rejuvenating night's sleep.
Everything is good. Nothing that I dislike!

Location, Restaurants and breakfast spread
Rigidity about the check-in time of 3 pm. I arrived at 1.45 pm, room was available but they demanded extra payment to release the room earlier !

a very stylish hotel. a Zen feel. one of the best I have stayed in
4.5
Room size and design, modern clean and very comfortable.
Although the location is close to the Kyoto station it does get quiet at night so options are limited. However, this is more a preference and doesn't impact the hotel facilities which are excellent.

This hotel is truly amazing and 5 star. Very luxurious, very modern and spacious rooms equipped with all sort of comfort and facilities which is what you would expect from a 5 stars. The location is literally next to Kyoto train station which was absolutely convenient in addition to many shops around. The breakfast was absolute delicious with great variety (they had a Japanese Resturant for Japanese’s style breakfast and international style). They were very accommodating to our toddler which was very courteous.
Highly recommended if you are visiting Kyoto for few days and want a combination of luxury, comfort, location and great breakfast.
1. Some amenities such as tooth brushes are not provided due to sustainability and environment reasons and you have to ask for them.
2. The breakfast was identical every morning. Highly recommend to book rooms without breakfast and just opt to explore the options around.

This is a luxurious, modern hotel, very close to Kyoto Railway Station. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped, with a secluded outside area. The Japanese breakfast was superb.
It was fairly expensive.

Comfort and location.
4.5
Hotel location is extremely convenient as it is a short walking distance to Kyoto station. My hubby and I stayed there for 3 nights. We like everything about the room and we enjoyed their Japanese breakfast. The room was spacious and cosy. Like the fact that the shower area and toilet area are separated. Everything in the room are controlled using the Ipad in the room from the lights to the curtains.
The aircon in our room seems to be erratic as there were couple of times we woke up feeling hot in the room.

The moment you walk on, take a deep breath in and the Zen calm envelopes you. Immaculate service, superb room and amazing location. We stayed 5 nights here and would happily come back. Try the afternoon tea which needs 2 days advance in booking…beats the Four Seasons Kyoto afternoon tea hands down.
if I was to be picky, they don’t need to change my hardly used body wash every day.

Great location next to train station. Room is clean and comfortable.
Nothing.
