Beautiful bank holiday weekend at Landers House. It was even better than the photos and exceeded all expectations!
The house was well equipped for a large group and fit all 12 of us comfortably.
Communication with the host was great, Stuart was quick to be come back with any questions I had.
We had such a lovely weekend and hope to come back to Landers House some time in the future.

This is a very nice property. Very quirky. Large living/dining and kitchen combined.
We stayed over Christmas and a tree was put up for us which was a nice touch.
I understand the furniture has been chosen to fit in with what the owners are trying to achieve with the look of the property
However I do have one complaint. For the amount of rental paid the sofas are appalling. Hardly any stuffing left in the seat cushions. Covered in throws which keep falling down and on one sofa the seat cushions move forward when you are sitting on them until they are nearly on the floor.
The other issue is the sofa bed. It’s so uncomfortable with a bar and springs digging in. Fortunately one of my sons hadn’t arrived and I was able to ask him to bring down a mattress topper to make it more comfortable. I would suggest this for future lets.
I think old furniture upcycled is great but when it comes to seating and sleeping then comfort is a must.
Sorry for these negative comments because really the house is great. Just these couple of things would make it fantastic.

We had all our family stay together for New Year’s Eve in this incredible property, very clean and accommodating, spacious and cosy. Close to the beach and not far from the town. The decor was beautiful! We loved this stay and will have fond memories of new year 2023! Will definitely book again!

Fantastic house, right by the beach. The sun shone for us all week and we had everything we could ask for. Right by the beach and amazing sand dunes that the kids played in for hours. Stuart was very easy to communicate with and did everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Comfy beds, big kitchen table for family meals inside and out, wood burner heated the house very well in the evenings. Hope to be able to return again next year. Would have been helpful to have been left shower gel and also slightly burnt wood panelling behind the cooker and no obvious fire extinguishers made us nervous. Otherwise, all was fantastic.

We had a perfect family Christmas at Landers House. The living space is incredible and really catered for the 11 of us. It also felt like people had the chance to go to their own spaces as well. The house is beautifully and uniquely styled. The hosts left welcome gifts and essentials which was very thoughtful of them. They also put up a tree for us which made the house feel Christmassy. It’s a beautifully situated house for the beach and we all enjoyed walks on the beach. Thank you

Wonderful Beach House
What a wonderful, unique beach house. Newly built but the interior made of many vintage finds including the walls and doors!
The main living space was a lot bigger than we expected but exceptionally cosy. The beach is literally at the end of the sandy road. We stayed for Christmas and enjoyed lots of glorious beach walks. We mainly stayed in the house itself but did venture out to Rye which was worth the short trip (or long walk!)
The front and back gardens are enclosed so safe to let your dog wander.
We will definitely be back and would recommend for a large family stay.

A wonderful treat by the sea
We had the most incredible time at Landers House, it proved beyond expectations and the beauty and comfort of the property provided a wonderful opportunity for 11 friends to gather and catch up. The weather was perfect, the sun shone all weekend. Thank you!

Fabulous beach holiday house
Loved the size of the house. It comfortably accommodated all 10 of us. We were so close to the beach that there was no need to cart chairs and picnics with us, we just came back to the house. Super neighbours as well. The only downside, which was absolutely nothing to do with Landers House, was the amount of litter that people left on the beach and dunes, despite daily appeals from the lifeguards.

Landers House stay
We had a wonderful stay at Landers house, the owners attention to detail is exceptional, especially the decor. The house is lovely and large but still maintains a warm and cosy feel! A very short walk from the beach which is so convenient.

The best Staycation EVEr
If you do get the opportunity to stay here then snap it up quickly. The house is an absolute dream. And great for kids (Aged 2.5 and 5 yrs) - plenty of space, easy stairs etc and lovely safe spaces in front and back gardens.
The beach is literally 50 yds away. With bucket and spade shops, ice cream, fish and chips. What more could a child want.
We had incredible weather so spent nearly all the days on the beach and just came home to crash out with a glass of vino in the evening.
We are definitely going back. Thanks to Laura for such a wonder stay. Here’s hoping for the same weather this time next year!!

An amazing house
Landers House is a remarkable property, and like no other that we have ever stayed at (in a positive way!). The originality and attention to detail of the décor is in a league of its own, with the whole experience being an extremely comfortable one.

Lovely beach house
We enjoyed our weekend at the Landers House and spent much of our time at the fabulous beach - a five minute walk away. The kitchen was well appointed and plenty of space for two families.

Perfect for a stay with friends
Very unique and sociable space, which was perfect for our group. The large table was ideal for a dinner party with everything you could need in the well stocked kitchen. Beds were all very comfortable and the bathrooms were well fitted for a good soak after a brisk walk on the beach. Owners were friendly and helpful, always on hand if needed.

Amazing stay at the beautiful Landers House
The house is absolutely beautiful and decorated so well, the pictures don’t even do it justice. The decor fits the beach setting perfectly, beds are very cosy and comfortable, loads of space in communal areas both indoors and outdoors, property was spotless upon arrival and the check-in was super easy.
Our group of girls had a fabulous stay and it suited our needs perfectly. Hopefully we’ll be back one day :)

What an amazing stay at Lander's House! A magical place that pictures don't do justice. I wish we could've stayed longer but a big group of us enjoyed the weekend we shared there to the fullest. Lots of space to hangout and cook. Loved the huge dining table and the bbq outside. The beach is gorgeous and we walked along to Rye- which is highly recommended to do while you're there! Can't wait to come again.

Fantastic, modern & spacious property
Beautifully decorated spacious house fantastically positioned for the beach and local restaurants. Living area/kitchen is a wonderful space making interaction for all our family very easy. There was twelve of us and the house easily accommodated is all. Bedrooms are all a good size and en-suites/bathrooms make it very easy for a big group. I would definitely recommend this house and I imagine it would be beautiful in the summer especially being so close to the wonderful beach. It is also an easy walk, approx 1 1/4 hours into Rye or the local bus passes the top of the road.

Excellent property for family gatherings - almost on the beach!
Property well arranged and kitted out for 12 people. Outside area safe for children to play and dog friendly. A variety of goodies waiting for us on arrival - something for everyone!

Beautiful house in an amazing location
The house is lovely. Decorated to a very high standard and you can tell that Stuart and Laura care about the property a great deal. The property is in an amazing location literally 2 minutes from the beach which we took full advantage of. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house and have already recommended it to friends to look at hiring in the future

A stunning, quirky, very comfortable beach house.
We had a fabulous Christmas week at this beach house, with 3 generations of our family. The house was perfectly big enough for the 12 of us and two dogs, everything was immaculate when we arrived and the lovely hosts had left us some thoughtful extras on the beautiful dining table. We managed to cook a full christmas dinner on the large range stove. The house is down a sand road two minutes walk from the beach and five minutes from the local pub, which serves excellent meals. The decor is certainly unusual with lovely surprises at every turn and the four bathrooms, three with claw foot baths and all with very modern hot showers served us well. We would love to return and would certainly recommend this house for a large group. I hope you have as much fun as we did.

Family break in Camber
October 2018 Our large family of 3 generations and a dog stayed at Landers house, and had a wonderful time. The house is gorgeous, really clean and comfortable and the owners were really helpful, recommending some great things to do locally. I loved waking up to the sound of the sea, long beach walks, and evenings on the dunes with a bottle of wine. We visited the local vineyards, Rye and Battle nearby. Great kitchen for cooking for groups and a huge barbecue too. Lots to do for the children nearby.. We didn’t want to leave and will be back next year

Couldn't fault it!
Sept 2018 what a stunning house! Our group of 8 had an amazing stay at Landers house and would ( and already have) highly recommend it. It is right by the beach, on a little private sandy road, so very quiet. Fabulous bars and restaurant 5 minutes walk away. The owners left us a lovely welcome basket of food, and were very helpful throughout our stay. The house is very stylish and beautifully furnished with antiques, and really well equipped, lovely comfy beds and bed linen. We cooked most meals on the huge gas barbecue and hung out on the front or back deck, and spent our evenings sitting around the big dining table. Highly recommend this house.

Fabulous!!!
Do not hesitate to book this house! Our party of 11 had a fantastic time here. The house is huge and very clean and there was ample room for everyone. The beds were comfy, there were lots of bathrooms and the showers were great. The kitchen is well stocked and the dining table is enormous and a great place to congregate. Outside there is another big table and a fantastic BBQ. The house is full of quirky and interesting bits and bobs and has been thoughtfully put together. The owner was friendly, easy to communicate with and accommodating of our needs. On arrival we were greeted with lots of local goodies to eat and drink. A lovely welcome. The house is just a couple of minutes walk from the beach and 5 minutes from a decent pub. I would thoroughly recommend this lovely house to anyone.
