This spacious South Congress home offers a private oasis in the heart of Austin’s most popular destinations! You’ll enjoy short walks and e-scooter rides to the iconic "I love you so much" mural at Jo's Coffee, the legendary Continental Club, and countless eclectic shops and restaurants!

Home chefs will enjoy whipping up a memorable meal in the gourmet kitchen or on the gas grill out back! An open living/dining area features a dining table for 8 and a large, flat screen TV. Head out the French doors to find a fenced-in backyard with a covered deck, outdoor seating, and ceiling fan perfect for entertaining guests throughout your stay!

The upstairs living room has a Sofa Bed and a second flat screen TV. The Master is fitted with a new King size bed and includes a Master bath with separate shower and bathtub. Bedrooms Two and Three share a full bath and are fitted with 2 Twin beds and a Queen size bed respectively. A laundry room with washer and dryer is included.

This is the perfect home for groups coming in town for SXSW and the Austin City Limits music festival as it's only a 15 min walk to the festival gates at Zilker Park. You can leave all the parking hassles behind! The home’s exceptional location also favors a night out on 6th Street, which is only a 5 min ride away. A public park with walking trails and playground are just a short stroll away. One mile from the Congress Ave bat bridge and Downtown.

When they say this property is close to SoCo- it is CLOSE. We barely got in our car the entire week. There was so much to walk to, see and do. The neighborhood is charming and quiet, a great place to visit with kids. The property itself was as described. And despite the requirement to park on the street, the very friendly neighbor emerged as soon as we checked in to offer us a driveway spot. Minor nits: we had booked this property for Thanksgiving and intended to cook but found the kitchen gear less than the "gourmet kitchen" description in the listing. The knives were dull, and there was little in the way of equipment (blender, food processor, etc). Perfect, though for simple meals. We ended up eating out for Thanksgiving which saved us time anyway. When we arrived, I searched my email for "VRBO" and instructions to check-in. Not finding any, I emailed the host. They responded in minutes. Their name is "Guest Spaces," and the email does not reference VRBO so you need to search for an email with that name.

We walked all over Austin from this location and always returned to a cool and comfortable house. I forgot my prescription glasses out the house and they have been slow to respond in getting them returned, but that is my fault more than anyone's. Shouldn't have left them! The house could also use some board games and the TV channels are limited, but we were there for Austin and not the TV. Great, clean and charming!

Everything was great about the property! Location was exceptional! My only criticism would be the parking situation… There were at least two spaces in the driveway to the house, but we were instructed we had to park in the street with an Austin ParkIng permit.

Clean, spacious house on a quiet, tree-lined street only 2 blocks away from one of the best neighborhoods in Austin. Plenty of spots nearby for breakfast in the morning, and the Continental Club was open until 2am for live music every night. Excellent spot for housing 5 friends.

Fun area. Only 3 min walk to S Congress food and shops. Nice house for trip with friends! For safety on the glass doors, we suggest adding inside door locks not accessible by the reused digital lock and keys.

We had a great visit to Austin. The house was very clean and comfortable. Everything worked well. The only minor issue was the towel situation was a little skimpy. Otherwise the location was awesome, near Congress St. Lots of great restaurants and bars nearby. We definitely recommend this property.

Great house. Very clean and plenty of room. We enjoyed coffee on the patio. Board games on the high top table in the evening. Loved the close walk to SoCo! Plenty of shopping and yummy restaurants. We also enjoyed our walk to Lady Bird Lake. The neighborhood is so quiet and safe. We never heard a sound! Great home for a group. Close walks and quiet nights. Thank you.

Outstanding location 700 ft from endless fun in one direction and a great little park for your AM run in the other. The property is well built and has a perfect patio for your morning coffee (basket brewer). Was able to make a meal one night for the group. The knifes were adequate and the kitchen had all the basics.

We were in town for a family wedding. This property was perfect for our group of 6. It had plenty of space and outdoor areas for hanging out. I am a bit of a neat freak and find rentals usually not quite as clean as I'd like but I had absolutely no complaints with this property - it was sparkling clean throughout. Can't say enough about the location. We have visited Austin many times before but have stayed downtown for the most part. We decided to stay near the action of South Congress but thought it might be too hectic. This property is soooo close to South Congress BUT a block back in a quiet, quaint neighborhood. I highly recommend this property and the managers of this unit who were extremely responsive at all times. I would definitely stay here again.

It's a very short walk to South Congress and all the restaurants, stores, etc there. Nicely decorated, very comfortable, great outdoor space which we unfortunately couldn't use because it was too cold, but it would be a great place for meals and just chilling. Great neighborhood for walking as well. We would definitely book again next time we are in Austin.

We had a fantastic time staying in this great neighborhood. I have two young adult kids that were able to scooter around south congress having a blast. We walked over for dinner a few times. So much fun. We had our thanksgiving dinner here and it was awesome. House had everything we needed. Maybe a few more towels would have been helpful. Also maybe a Bluetooth speaker or something similar. Other than that it was perfect!

Great location - walking distance to South Congress bars, restaurants and shops. Check in and out was easy. But, there were several cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom, and the property manager didn't seem that concerned about it when I reported it. The area rugs were also not very clean, looked like they hadn't been vacuumed recently.

This spot is more than a property- it felt like a home, a gorgeously decorated and yet comfy home! The reading nook was favorite for all, the butter soft leather couch, extra living/family room is perfect place for a few to gather, or read a book in the recliner. Bathrooms are lovely, waterfall shower and large tub, double sinks were all appreciated. Location, location, location. We got in to East Austin easily, walked down the street to the shops (and Güero's Taco Bar, Amy's Ice Cream) and up to Cosmic Coffee too - a must for coffee and breakfast tacos or amazing smoked lunches. Would definitely stay here again, and our grown kids thought they might use it for a friend get together as well. Thank you!
