We absolutely loved staying here! The house is so beautiful! We loved sitting on the front porch relaxing. My husband loved sitting on the porch off the bedroom in the morning to read as well. Location was wonderful!! Walking distance to restaurants and a breakfast spot! Checking in and out was easy. Thank you for allowing us to stay here!

Beautiful location near the water and within walking distance to the water, restaurants, and other attractions. But the home was so nice and the location so good that we spent the majority of the time at the house just enjoying the sun and the breeze and good times with friends. We had one question and Michael got back to us very quick! Thank you!

The internet was not working, so we were unable to stream tv or work remotely, which was inconvenient. The host did try to help though, and the stay was otherwise great. The house is really cute, had everything we needed, and is in a fantastic location. I would definitely stay here again.

Airlie Road Cottage was the perfect place due to its size, yard, cleanliness, and overall its fantastic location. We were very comfortable the entire stay and Michael was a great communicator and easy to work with. You are just a 2 minute walk to great food and drinks and a 5 minute drive to Harris Teeter and all Wrightsville beach has to offer. The front and back yards are well kept and well equipped for entertaining. It was my 2 young children (3&6) and my wife. We look forward to returning to Airlie cottage next time we come to Wilmington.

A high school friend and I traveled to town for concerts in Wilmington. The cottage was PERFECT! The description and pictures are exactly what we found. I would not change a thing. We also rented e bikes from Got Shade. This proved to be a great move as it was easy (and fun) to navigate to the beach both days. They were easy to deal with and delivered / picked up the bikes. I will stay here again as we plan to be back for concerts. I would also encourage friends and family to use this property.

This is the second time we stayed here because we were so happy with it the first time. The house is very spacious with plenty of room to relax, and there is ample outdoor space as well. Part of the front porch is currently being fixed, but the owner let us know that ahead of time and it wasn't a big deal. The location is perfect- you can walk to restaurants or take a very short drive to a grocery store (Harris Teeter). The beach is also a very short drive away!

We stayed here in April with our family, and we had a wonderful time. The house is big, beautiful, and has a large balcony overlooking the front yard. Less than a five minute drive to Wrightsville beach. It was the perfect place to stay with our kids on a family vacation! We would definitely stay here again if we came back to the area!

Great property & location! We really enjoyed our stay. Walked each night to eat at a nearby restaurant on the water. 5 minute drive to either Wrightsville Beach or Airlie Gardens. About 15-20 minutes to historic downtown Wilmington. Very comfortable house and decorated just like a beach cottage should be! ❤️

Great casual place to relax

Great place to unwind and enjoy being in coastal Carolina. Very comfortable, 200 yards to great seafood restaurants on the intracoastal waterway, or follow the walking trail under the highway to the gelato shop. We had a minor problem getting the Wi-Fi info but once we found the password it worked well. Beautiful street, enjoyed reading on the balcony. Also enjoyed the big walk-in shower with the sunny window.

My wife and I spent several weeks in Mike's home on our first trip to Wilmington. The location could not be better, access to everything from a quiet, friendly neighborhood. Communicating with Mike was terrific and it was nice that he and his family spend time here rather than simply treating it as an investment. We are looking forward to staying here again.

This house felt like home from the moment we stepped through the door. The light, the color, the comfort and sense of welcome from the very start all said “come on in and stay awhile.” The location is perfect for walks, drives, delicious seafood restaurants, and exploring the the beach and inland neighborhoods. Mike was very easy to communicate with, and answered all of my questions promptly. The location is unbeatable. Close to restaurants, marinas, beach and shopping. Plenty of parking. Very cute fenced yard that we would have spent time in if it wasn’t so cold in the evenings. Also, this was a very stocked house- don’t need to worry about bringing extra paper products, trash bags, ziplock bags, foil, towels, linens, pillows, blankets, kitchen accessories, etc. would definitely stay at the Arlie house again!

We started planning our trip in February because we knew we needed the beach! This house had all the things our family of 4 needed. Plenty of comfy beds, big bathrooms, laundry access and an amazing kitchen. The location is phenomenal. A really central location to the beach, many grocery stores, dining and shops. Our kids had a magical visit. We loved sitting outside, talking with the awesome neighbors and loafing for movies on the fluffy couches after long days at the beach. We plan to be back!

It is a beautiful property and great location. This was our third year to stay here for our annual vacation. It has everything we need, comfortable, spacious and well equipped. It is near the beach, and easy to drive downtown and to other many enjoyable shopping areas and attractions. Michael is a great host and communicates quickly if anything is needed.

What an absolutely wonderful beach home! Location is perfectly situated near the shore, restaurants and shopping. The house is completely comfortable inside and out. We thoroughly enjoyed the back yard area and rocking chair front porch. Our teenagers loved the house just as much as Mom and Dad. Owner is super kind and quick to respond! We couldn’t have asked for a better house to stay in. Thank you!

The house had everything we needed for our stay and made for a great beach trip! We loved using the backyard to cookout and the front porch in the morning. Quick drive to beach and groceries and walking distance to some great restaurants on the marina. Would definitely recommend. Thanks Mike!

We are from Michigan and had a very long drive and Mike was extremely flexible with check-in which helped us. The property was immaculate and gives you an instant homey-feel. It is situated in a great location with great places to eat (two great place right at the end of the street) and of course extremely close to the beach. I would absolutely stay here again on our next Wilmington visit and 10/10 would recommend.

We wanted to escape the Chicago winter for a bit and this house was perfect for us to work from for a couple of weeks. It's walking distance to the beach, tennis and restaurants. It's a cute clean cottage in a great neighborhood.

Very cozy comfy beach house. Wonderful beachy décor and furniture. Couches and chair are super comfortable. Beds and linens are excellent. Lots of storage both in bath, dresser and closet, so great for an extended stay. Kitchen is fully stocked with every tool, pot, pan and appliance you could need and still has room in the pantry for your food. Yard and grill are a great amenity. So many restaurants within very short walk. Walk across the bridge to more restaurants or to walk/run the loop. We had an amazing two weeks here and Mike was very responsive and fun to get to know. Highly recommend this very clean and comfy beach house.

If you are looking to sit on the patio and relax this is the place for you! It is quiet and is located close to the intercoastal Waterway, restaurants, the beach...you name it! The pictures don’t do it justice, the rooms and landscaping are beautiful. We loved how the night lighting came on while we enjoyed the patio. A perfect place to stay😊

We were very comfortable in this home. Beautifully decorated and well stocked with everything needed. It’s located within walking distance of some really good restaurants, yet set away in a quiet area among other beautiful homes and landscaping. Also is near the ICW and Wrightsville Beach. The owner, Mike, was very reachable for any questions we had. Everything went smoothly. This was our second stay and we would definitely stay here again.
