Beach was nice. Not too far from the town
Where do I Begin. Pools close at 8 ( sunset is around 9) Only open pool is quiet (adult) pool which has music blaring. We were extremely disappointed we couldn’t swim at night as it was so hot & humid and really nothing else to do. Have never ever had a pool anywhere close this early. Terrible.
Pools need updating, chipped tiles, moldy etc.
Our room space was good but room had mold everywhere. Headboard was gross with stains.
Food was okay, definitely not what expected for the price. Even through it was all inclusive, they were always trying to upsell with food. Not everything was included for example nice seafood, wine etc.
Also, of note, we met our extended family there (9 total) We could never sit together even though this was the ‘Family section’ Very disappointed that none of their restaurants would accommodate us 9 sitting together.
Also not included were the cabanas at the pool.
Worse Mexican resort experience we’ve had in 20 years of visiting Mexico.

my 4-year-old son obviously had a blast at a pool
it felt crowded everywhere, the pool lounge beds were always full - people would wake up early to save them with a towel and then just walk away, I think that is unacceptable and needs to be addressed. SO there was no place to sit at any of the pools or the beach if you didn't save a spot. Food was mediocre - oily and too many sugary options, no fresh juices in the country and climate where fruits are affordable and available all year round! I wish there were more healthy food options! Most things were over-fried and salty. My husband got sick the first day from eating something or drinking an iced drink at either restaurant or bar pool, so the next day he was very sick all day, and our last evening we went out of the hotel to dine in the nearby town.
Our room smelled moldy..
And we particularly disliked that there were limited dining options, two-three days away there were no restaurants available to make a reservation for.

The staff were polite and attentive, the property was pretty clean and the ocean views from the pools is amazing.
each room has a balcony ( which is good) but the room I was assigned, had a view of over grown landscaping instead of ocean views

They are not in a behavior of give care to Vegan/Vegetarian people. They have difficulties in manage food in that way. Ramon and Gabriela at Main Restaurant gave attention about. Most of staff are not preparated for.
