We had a wonderful time relaxing by the pool.

The property has a great pool and surrounding garden with a jungle feel. Separate room was private with nice outdoor eating area. Close to beach, restaurants and grocery store.

Unfortunately there is a lot of construction in Bucerias with that comes a lot of construction noise.

Enjoyable stay at Casa Juanita

Overall our room was very nice and clean. The A/C worked well and the TV was a good size. The bed was very comfortable. The room had a coffee maker and mini fridge. The shower water temperature was good. The room was located at ground level and the building is a bungalow style in the center of a large property with lots of vegetation. Quite different from many properties in Bucerias which is/has become a sea of condos. The pool is a nice size. Two very friendly dogs. The location was very good and we preferred it to the area north of the bridge. It is a short 5 to 10 min walk to the beach. A number of restaurants within easy walking distance. The staff (gardener and cleaning lady) were very nice. Our contact person, Hussein, was very good and responded to us quickly.

Some parts of the property are a bit run down, but this did not detract from our enjoyable stay. The temperature of the pool water was quite cool. The bathroom sink only had cold water. While the water pressure in the shower was good it could use a new or different shower head. The parrots were quite loud 1 morning which really didn't bother us but could be annoying to others..

Excellent experience - an Oasis.

Wonderful Garden and pool - a jungle sanctuary to relax in. Roomy property and all the personal involved very helpful especially Hussein.

Some of the appliances and the CD player a little unreliable.

I loved the pool very private and the hot tub was excellent it was very private the staff was excellent and very helpful

There were not enough cutlery cooking utensils there were ants all over the counters when the toilet was flushed it would splash up in the bathroom and kitchen sinks wyfi did not work nowhere else on the property eg the pool area i could not get wfI the tv did not work over the weekend and for three days the stove did work so we were unable to cook our food there was no micro wave as back up

we would definitely stay here in the future for an even longer time….loved this place.

This is a very special one of a kind property. The garden, the pool, the house , the location, the staff , the pets, are perfect for us.

We liked everything about this property. we did discuss with Hussein the parrots deserve a much larger, more interesting, natural enclosure away from the house maybe on the far side of the pool or even better donated to a parrot habitat where they can interact with other birds and people. Also the geese need a much bigger enclosure. We liked the kitchen but it is a bit rustic. It would be nice to have a coffee percolator larger than the two cup press. A small microwave would be handy. We liked having the three happy affectionate dogs around …..but….they bark at night which can be a problem.

This amazingly beautiful property is in a great location. Would be ideal for a 2 couples. The house very well equipped. The garden feels like a peaceful oasis. The pool is very nice (the water is cold because of all the trees). The manager was available by text anytime to answer questions.

The three dogs were very friendly but it was difficult to keep them out of the house. It would not be appropriate for people who do not like dogs. The whole property must have been amazing a number of years ago, but now a lot of things could use some TLC.

The holiday house had everything we needed. If the price was lower I'd definitely stay again.

Great location, very private, comfortable bed. Walking distance to the beach, some restaurants and the grocery store. The one bedroom holiday house had everything we needed for 2 people

Like the other reviews stated it is getting run down. It is over priced for the condition the property is in. The parrots and geese squawk in the mornings but I had ear plugs so it didn't wake me up.

This place has a lot of potential but it would have been much better if shared areas were clean.

The bed was very comfortable. Location was excellent. House was small but clean. Hussein, Martin and Jackie were wonderful and very responsive to needs

Birds used pool as a birdbath, constantly. Pool chairs, grill picnic table, etc were all covered in bird poop. Table by our unit was in walkway to gate.

You can find the peace here. Sometimes the birds make noise but it belongs to state of Paradise.

If you can put up with a few inconveniences you will love it here

Excellent location with short walk to the beach and many restaurants. The bed was very comfortable. The pool was fine. We stayed in the main part which was quite spacious. Good shower hot water but only warm elsewhere. Lovely outdoor table and chairs with view down through the garden greenery to the pool. Manager was responsive and supplied a hair dryer on request.

The 5 dogs were very friendly but barked frequently day and night. Birds also squawked very loudly and a neighbourhood rooster could crow at midnight as well as dawn. The place could be cleaner and the BBQ area basically unusable as was the palapas. Note that the picture of the large white building is NOT Casa Juanita but of the owners house next door. A general feeling of neglect possibly because the owner is ill. In the master bedroom is a shoe rack full of dusty shoes.

Mattresses and pillows were the most comfortable we've ever experienced in Mexico.

We felt sorry for poor Luna. She is a very lonely dog. She wanted affection which we gave but our dog became jealous so had to be careful.

Like living in your own rustic, private jungle compound, close to beach, shops and restaurants.

Private grounds, lush landscaping, nice swimming pool, handy location. Caretakers were excellent and friendly, hist was excellent and friendly.

House was not air conditioned, except for bedroom; a/c needed in whole house for comfort. Interior surfaces and furniture were pretty basic. Definitely not a luxurious house, but adequate.

It would be nice to have a coffee maker in the Bedroom Also, to have complementary water in the fridge The outdoor lighting wasn’t working and it was very dark coming in at night. A bit expensive for just a bedroom
