Amazing stay, definitely recommended...

Its a homely place. Thinking of an expensive place to live and party, but at an affordable way, its Bella Vista. Its in Grand Baie, one of the party places of Mauritius. The staffs are coordial. The set up is amazing, just beside the beach. Sea view rooms are too good. Most importantly, on the day we were leaving, for our journey, they gave a water bottle. For free definitely. And please note, everything is costly in Mauritius. So, its the gesture that will keep this place going and will definitely recommend to others. If I go next time, Bella Vista for sure.

Actually at the cost they offered, w.r.t. other hotels, and the location they are in, nothing one can complain

Please renovate!

The Bella Vista is in big need of renovation and a deep clean.

The restaurant is only Chinese and breakfast very limited with only an omelet every day.

Despite the rooms being a disappointment, the staff were very nice and location was great.

The sea view was very good, and the fact that you can hear the ocean waves from your room. Also liked the fact that the hotel provided sun beds just outside the hotel on the beach if requested. Staff were friendly. Restaurant and bar available, but only until 10pm. However, there are some great restaurants/bars next to the hotel.

Rooms need some maintenance. Been neglected for too long. Had to change rooms three times for various problems. Also rooms not cleaned very well. A shame as this hotel has a great location. Just not enough attention to the maintaining of the rooms.

Defining the word disappointment.

The close proximity to other hotel we needed to go.

First of all, hope you read this carefully. This info is up-to-date. I am a hotel owner from Finland and know that sometimes there are minor issues when running a hotel. I have travelled in over 60 countries and this is the first time to write truly bad review. I have been to local guest houses and also hostels. We came yesterday late in the evening to this place and were very tired. Nobody had cleaned the room for us: sheets were stained, floors were dirty with bugs, bathroom messed by previous customer. Also the property is actually about 1 km from the premium location where they show to be on booking.com (photo) The manager Kisha is ignorant on having any chat or improving or settling anything. We needed to leave earliest thing in the first morning even though we had booked longer stay . I understand lots of small issues, but this kind of dirtiness and underestimation of customer I have never experienced in hundred of places I have stayed around the world. If you find any other places even with a way more higher price I suggest you to avoid this place. The first thing you see when you arrive is carps at the small pond by the reception. They are struggling for their life. Also truly sad was the 10 year old boy who was beated by the relative behind the bar counter. This is my true advice. Please avoid if possible. Our vacation lived up to our expectations.

Breakfast it was daily the same. Location is exactly on the beach which is very nice. From the hotel terrace you are going directly on the beach

FIRST CLASS SERVICE

The sea view bedroom apartment was amazing 🌅 watching the Sunset the tranquility of the ocean view was stunning. The ladies PRIA AND MALA were amazing they were so helpful gave such warm and loving professional service. The rooms were kept very clean each day the rooms we're cleaned. The Food in the restaurant was fantastic Top Chef I recommend everyone to go and visit you won't regret it!!, it was excellent service From all the staff members Such beautiful people I would go and visit again soon Thank you so for everything S. WILL NOT RECOMMEND

ENJOYED THE SEA VIEW ONLY

During my five days stay, i did NOT get any wifi. there was refurbishment going on with lots of noise. I travelled for business. There was no electricity for four days , hence NO wifi and air conditioning!! The fridge door cabinet was broken. Small ants crawling around, the white curtain has gone grey, cobweb behind bed and fridge cabinet. There was birds droppings on the balcony for three days, and on the railings for whole of my stay. Breakfast was poor, only omelette for five days besides fruits and bread.

Amizing staff, friendly and forthcoming, large comfy room with great view and easy access to the beach

Friendly staff, nice restaurant with access to the beach. Well priced good value for money. superb view from the room balcony over the bay. enjoyed taking a swim for exercise early morning in relatively quieter beach. Nice breakfast included. Love the koi pond in the foyer adds a nice touch.

The Wi-Fi in my room were not great but I didn’t mind sitting in the restaurant to check mails

Enjoy the stay . The shopping centres are all close there and plenty of restaurants around and .

The sea views from the room was excellent and you can sit in the balcony and enjoy the sea views and the sea is next to the room. Breakfast was served in the terrace which was by the sea. Breakfast was more than enough.

Everything was perfect.

Perfect cost conscious accomadation

Liked Everything. Location was excellent. Smack bang in the middle of Grand Baie. Everything was within walking distance. Accommodation was better than we expected and the cleaning was regular. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ample and filling and their evening food (Chinese) was amazing. (They do lunch too, but we didn't have it). Would definately recommend to others looking for budget accommodation.

Disappointing

The location is perfect. Next to the center of Grand Baie and in front of the beach. The price is good for what you get.

It's a pitty that the place is really obsolete and with minimum maintenance. With some changes and improvements it could be one of the best places in Grand Baie for its location.

Exactly what we wanted.

Great location on the beach, lovely views from the balcony. Good restaurant with choice of local dishes. Useful to have a kettle and fridge in the room and efficient air conditioning!

We've stayed here several times and will return!

Relaxing homely friendly staffs

Breakfast was ok with nice fresh fruits and continental style. The dining area must be the most beautiful place to eat with the sea view. Staffs are always attentive and helpful. The freshly made omelette was tasty

Extend breakfast time till 10.30 am instead of 9.30
