About this villa rental
Welcome to paradise ! this new and unique beach-side Villa Namaste – an ultra luxury, multi-faceted dream beach house which is being described as resembling 'a hundred million dollar yacht on land'. Villa Namaste’s sea deck and pool area are unequaled in the Caribbean and St Maarten - well known for world-class yachting – yet the villa suffers NO bumpy seas - so it might well be ideal for people who put up with the latter – in order to enjoy the former..!
We now have a state of the art generator in case of Government Hydro outages!
Villa Namaste is tastefully decorated with a modern 'beach feel', over-sized windows, palm trees and an infinity pool that blends directly in with the ocean.
We draw inspiration from the islands’ natural beauty and culture, utilizing only the necessary elements in this unsurpassed and unique location. Using naturally rustic materials and patterns in a modern way allows the beach house to exude sophistication without feeling ostentatious.
Features include a chique ultra modern European state of the art kitchen and oversized chefs cooking island, wood grained floor tiles, marble in bathrooms, extensive international art collection that compliments the decor, fully covered pool deck, 2 over-sized concrete tanning benches, 3 outdoor showers, coral stone columns and modern features throughout.
All 3 bedrooms are en-suite with an additional outside shower under the palm trees and stars.
The property is private with its own entry onto a long quiet beach of coral and sand.
There is none other like it! We guarantee that you will like it!
The Meaning of 'Namaste'
Namaste means me and you !
Namaste is an International greeting – Welcome to Villa Namaste
The Namaste Symbol is a ring of Dolphins.
Viewed from the inner to the outer ring, the symbols displayed in this mandala include: 'Earth', 'Peace', Dolphins and 'Mir' - peace. The symbol is blue which means peace and wisdom!
On the odd occasion or if you are lucky (or very patient) you will see dolphins from the pool deck !
Dolphins frequent the southern side of the island near Tintemare !
Namaste has a profound spiritual significance. It is the acknowledgement of oneness. When two people greet each other with a “Namaste”, it is an act of recognizing the presence of divinity in the other as it is in oneself.
Namaste allows individuals to come together energetically to a place of connection and timelessness, free from the bonds of ego-connection. There is no better place to make that connection than on the beach with the ocean breeze at Villa Namaste in the Dutch Caribbean.
That we guarantee !

The property exceeded all expectations with breathtaking views, a spectacular infinity pool, and excellent amenities. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.

It is a beautiful property unfortunately I would not recommend this until the Owner installs a backup generator. We rented for 5 days and each day we experienced MULTIPLE power outages for extended periods at unexpected times. Our first day we did not have power until after 9:30pm. We were not sure if power was going to come on at so we traveled to the French side of the island to rent hotels (lost this money) as the power came on later and family did not want the hassle of moving back and forth. We had dinners ruined due to power outages and needed to go out for all our meals after these outages. The property managers explained the reason for power outages was unexpected, however neighbors had backup generators. The Property manager did bring their own generator to try and get power but was unable to get it working. Talking with locals they informed us power outages are normal each day but usually for short durations. So we suspect the owners are not unaware of power outages.
If you are paying money for a “self-contained” property that you would expect having power to operate all appliances, stove, refrigerator and AC, you should look elsewhere. There are two major hotels less than 100 yards down the beach that have generators therefore no power issues.
We have tried to get some type of response from VRBO and the property owner…..no response. I guess they have our money so don’t need to respond.

"We had an incredible stay at Villa Namaste! The property is gorgeous, with every room beautifully appointed. The view from the patio is breathtaking—worth every penny. Sitting in the infinity edge pool, looking out over the bluest Caribbean waters while watching mega yachts sail by, was a highlight of our days. The villa is also conveniently located close to many cool restaurants, some even within walking distance, which was perfect for our evenings out. The staff, particularly Olive and Tamisha, were always reachable and exceptionally helpful in answering our questions and providing awesome recommendations. Highly recommend for a luxurious and relaxing getaway."

Absolutely wonderful place to stay and relax in St. Maarten. Imagine waking up to the sound of waves and perfect views of the ocean, a few steps away from the beach, and all the comforts and accommodations you need. The unit is gorgeous, immaculate and well maintained. Would absolutely recommend and stay again upon my return there. We thoroughly enjoyed!

Villa and island was beautiful!
Will definitely recommend!!

The property itself was absolutely gorgeous, and as described. That view would never get old and I didn’t want to leave! Fully stocked kitchen which was great. My only complaint would be that the housekeeper just showed up whenever she wanted and had her own keys, which I found very intrusive, especially on our last morning when she came 2.5 hours before check out. Also not a complaint but more so to help anyone coming here, if you are renting a car get a small one, it made parking a non-issue! Overall an incredible experience for my husband and my first vacation without kids in 5 years! We will definitely come back to Namaste again.

Had the opportunity to stay in Villa Namaste and the views were incredible! The owner was very responsive and we were met at the property by the property manager and the house cleaner. The villa was spacious and beautifully decorated. The infinity pool and private lanai made it very hard to leave! Would recommend!

My family and I had an amazing time at Namaste. You could not beat the view. Our family enjoyed relaxing by the pool, snorkeling/walking in front of the property and gazing at the yacht's anchored not far from our location. I would highly recommend Namaste.

Overall we loved the house and the property management was Five Stars! They went above and beyond to address concerns we had. The house was very well stocked and the view was priceless. Parking was very challenging because the street home was on was so narrow we had to back up each time which was nerve wracking due to how long the road was. A ton of good restaurants nearby BUT we were right by the drawbridge which caused traffic nightmares about six times a day. We found ourselves planning our day around the times the bridge would go up because traffic would be at a standstill for an hour each time. Lastly, the neighbors apparently take in stray dogs that barked pretty consistently starting at 6:30 am and going late into the night 2am so that was challenging as well but certainly not in anyone’s control. The house and management were amazing and if they have properties elsewhere we would not hesitate to book again!!

Had a great time definitely would back. We stayed with 4 of our teenage kids, plenty of room. The only thing was a bit of noise with construction next door but owner took care of it.

Property is not the glorious place the pics show. We ended up staying at a place for half the cost that was 3 times nicer.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Namaste. The view from the pool is incredible! Tamisha and Olive were attentive to our needs, we even got tips on places to visit on the island from them. Our most enjoyable experience however was the chef prepared meal at the villa. It was one of the best meals either of us ever had, and it was very reasonable! Our only drawback was the satellite was down while we visited, but was supposed to be repaired after we left. We had a great experience and highly recommend Namaste!

What a fantastic place!
Pictures and reviews can not convey the mood of this beautiful villa. A private infinity pool that hangs right over a beautiful secluded beach is certainly what made this vacation for us. Beach is a bit rocky, but that makes for nice snorkeling. And from either a rooftop deck or a beautiful covered patio we could spend days just watching yachts, cats, even an occasional cruise ship (they said away around 6:00 PM) passing by. We did not particularly care for restaurants that are within walking distance (definitely stay away from Isola Italian place, unless rubbery lobster is your thing), but island is so compact that in 20-30 minutes you can be anywhere. Our favorite spots happen to be Croisant Royal for breakfast and Captain Frenchy for brunch/lunch. And for those who look for a quiet beach, we certainly would suggest Baie Rouge. No services of any kind there, but that is exactly what made it perfect for us. Again, if you are looking for a beautiful slightly upscale spot in a paradise, villa Namaste is it!

Beautiful Home
It’s a beautiful property in a nice neighborhood. Close to restaurants, shopping and casinos. The only complaint is that they’re doing construction next door and there is drilling into a shared wall. I should also note that the neighbors dog barking (hours non-stop)had to be addressed. The owners and property manager handled each situation well with good communication.

Our Birthday Vacation
The property Namaste was nothing short of gorgeous. The pool, the views and the layout was very nice. Kitchen was well equipped with everything needed for mixing drinks and enjoying yourself. We did not spend a lot of time at Villa Namaste as we were out in the island 90% of the time. But Definitely considering staying at another one of their properties in the future

Amazing Vacation!!!
We had the pleasure of spending 10 glorious days at Villa Namaste at the beginning of November. Kim was very helpful in assisting one of our extra guests find nearby accomodations. Directions to the house were spot on. We were greeted at the door by Olive with cold beers and a big smile. Olive was so helpful with recommendations of things to do, and not to do. We were looking to have dinner prepared for us at the house one night. Olive had a chef at the house within an hour discussing menu choices. We spent several days not leaving the house. The pool and view of the ocean is so stunning, it's hard to pull yourself away. The sunsets are amazing. The house has everything you'll need for your stay. The kitchen is very well equipped. The rooftop deck is everything! The location of this house is great. Close to great restaurants and many activities that start at Simpson Bay Resort. We chartered a private catamaran one day for our party of six which left from the resort. We also did the "Party Boat" day on the Lambada & Tango catamarans. This is a great way to spend the day. Lunch off the boat at Grand Case Beach, swimming, snorkeling, and of course, day drinking! Easy exit Covid testing right down the street. Results were ready at Simpson Bay Resort in 2 hours. The whole trip was just about perfect! I would highly recommend Villa Namaste! We hope to return next year! Cheers!

Wonderful and Memorable Stay
The property was exactly as described. Miss Olive (as my teens fondly called her) and Tamisha were amazing and resourceful. The owners responded to our inquiries quickly and with relevant insight. The property is close to areas of interest - renting a car affords more opportunities to truly enjoy and experience the island (highly recommend it). We witnessed the most lovely sunsets on the pool deck. Overall we had a great stay - was the perfect place to celebrate my birthday with my family. We didn’t want to leave and will surely visit again very soon.

House didn't live up to expectations based on photos and reviews.
The Good: location, house layout, full functioning kitchen. each room with bathroom. top deck, outdoor area w grill, outdoor view, light cleaning service ( more to share on this).
The Bad: Parking( too narrow),Directions to house, pool smaller than anticipated. Olive ( housekeeper, intrusive. Would just show up and walk in. should have the option to schedule cleaning. Even the last day she walked in at 9am due to another check in occurring that day. Beach front is covered with large rocks. Not as smooth as shown in pictures. French door knobs and stove take some getting used to. Owners did not provide a list of local spots, activities, etc. Deposit held the maximum time.
Recommended excursions:
- toppers rhum distillary tour.
-Eagle tours eco catamaran tour- best excursion
-Buccaneer beach bar- ask for Christian
-breakfast at Juliette's- walking distance- outstanding
-fabulous feast - chef cook at the villa- great experience
-Grand Case Beach- french beach- boutique hotel next to Rainbow cafe. great breakfast at Rainbow also.
-Anse Marcel Beach resort
- flying dutchman
- DIVI little bay beach resort.
-TIJON perfume tour- pretty cool thing to do.
- go to the seafood market across from police station on Saturday's and get a whole Red Snapper to cook on the grill.
- If looking for jewerly, hit Diamond international- ask for Rakesh and Jay.
- would not recommend fishing tour out of Bobby's marina.
- Pelican food store next to Julliettes is a quick stop for many items vs the grocery store next to Burger King.
- other items to note:
use caution with SAX car rental. Covid testing at airport for departure is a smooth process. Service charges added to most restaurant checks. when picking chairs at beaches, some chair vendors do not allow the "hat ladies" to approach you. This may be a benefit to you!
All is all, St. Maarten wasn't our favorite island but still has alot to offer is very nice and would be worthy of a second visitThe reviews, descriptions, and pictures of the villa set our expectations high and were not met. Olive's intrusiveness , size of pool, and inaccurate beach front pics, lowered the overall score to a 4.

Beautiful house - but be aware
Someone attempted to steal my rental car the first night I was there. I didn't realize the area was dangerous... The internet /wi-fi went out - after day 2- never came back on.

Amazing view!
We had a great stay. Check in and communication were great. Pool was amazing and we had tons of space to relax after a long day at the beach. We were able to get anywhere on the island in less than 30 minutes.

Fantastic villa
Villa Namaste exceeded all expectations. Simply put, the best villa that I have stayed in on St Martin. The owners have created the perfect oasis - great amenities throughout the villa, rooftop lounge area and an infinity pool that blends in with the ocean.
Highly recommend this place.
In addition, Olive, the caretaker, was a gem.

Wonderful place on the water
We started at Nameste Villa, then moved to Incognito Villa, a different unit owned by the same people at Pelican Bay. Both were absolutely beautiful, and Olive (manager/housekeeper) is a gem. I had some health issues and she and the owners let me change units, which was a lifesaver. We were there for over a month, so I can assure you that the kitchens are well-equipped for extended stays. The grocery store and and beach are very close, as are all the shops and restaurants of Simpson Bay. You do need a rental car, though, if you are going to be there for an extended time. I will note that Nameste does not have AC in the main room, only the bedrooms. I think that is not an issue for most people, except perhaps in the hottest season, as the main room is open to the ocean breeze all the time (with high screened windows) and has a HUGE ceiling fan that runs all the time. The constant sound of the waves makes it truly seem like you are on the beach all the time. But if you feel you cannot live without full AC, I recommend you ask about Incognito villa instead. Fully airconditioned, and just as beautiful. There is a huge back patio and pool, with sugar birds greeting you every morning. Thanks so much to the owners for making this trip possible, and such welcome way to get away from the COVID world...

Amazing view
We recently stayed here and shortly after arriving the island was closed due to Covid-19. It was the ideal place to self-Isolate. The house is beautiful and the location is amazing. The house has everything you need to rest, relax and cook to your heart’s desire. Ms Olive was lovely and even came to the house super early one day to tell us about the changes happening on the island. We can’t wait to come back during normal times.

Amazing
This place was perfect. 3 large bedrooms with private baths, good sized living, dining space, infinity pool & outdoor dining as well. They have everything anyone would need, & if you need something, Olive is just a quick call away (She is the absolute best!) I mentioned we were going to go get massages---someone was at the house 5 minutes later! Location is perfect. Loved this place

Paradise Within Paradise
St. Maarten is a beautiful island with friendly people and amazing beaches. This place made us feel at home with all the amenities and brought relaxation every time we sat outside and listened to the waves crash right at the edge of the infinity pool. The pool is a great touch and perfect to cool off during the sunny days. You can’t go wrong staying here and may be surprised how much of the stress and hustle & bustle melt away as soon as you sit outside and take in the unbelievably beautiful view.

Amazing accommodations with all the amenities and the most amazing view!
This home was so spectacular we didn't even need or want to venture out and about on a few of our days there. Best view and the pool overlooking the ocean was so relaxing. We loved our stay at Villa Namaste!

Kim and Sandy communicated extremely well and Olive was a doll. It’s definitely the real deal. We cannot wait to come back and have already shared the link with friends that we have and highly recommend this place.

TRULY AMAZING!!!!
My husband and I along with friends stayed at Villa Namaste a couple of weeks ago (July 3rd-8th). I must say this Villa is absolutely beautiful and the outdoor space is spectacular. The views are breathtaking and the infinity pool was perfect. Everything about this Villa was spot on! Olive who is the housekeeper was truly a pleasure, very kind/loving and mostly welcoming. I HIGHLY recommend hiring a chef (Chef Romain) as you will enjoy dinner outside with views/sound of ocean. Food was incredibly! The only disappointment we had was the beach is not a walk-able beach as displayed online. It is full of rocks (big and small) very dangerous to walk on/climb. Hurricane Irma pushed all the rocks to shore. Lots of work to be done in rebuilding the island, Dutch side is in better conditions than the French side as it is completely devastated. With that said, VISIT ST. MAARTEN - people and food are incredible and beaches are stunning. We will be going back next year with our family and will be staying at beautiful Villa Namaste.

Excellent Property and Location
The pictures do not do this property justice! Located about 20 feet from the ocean with plenty of bars, restaurants and markets within very reasonable walking distances! Relax in the infinity pool, hang out on the rooftop patio or go site seeing, you can’t go wrong with this property! Enjoy and Nameste!

Outstanding location and beautiful place
We loved our stay. The house was beautiful and in a great location. We took our two adult kids and their spouses. We all loved the house and had plenty of space to spread out. Olive the housekeeper is a gem and we looked forward to her visits. We had heard there were security concerns on the island but we always felt safe and did not see or have any issues. The people on the island went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Can not recommend this house enough. The view and the infinity pool were spectacular. We were all sad to leave.

Oceanfront Paradise
Villa Namaste is perfectly located along Pelican Key, the views are breathtaking! The Villa was extremely clean and comfortable, the Big A*# Fan really keeps the living room cool with all the natural Caribbean breeze blowing by.
We thoroughly enjoyed the grill as we cooked poolside listening to the waves as they rolled onto the shore and receded off the rocks.
The sunset poolside view can only be beat by the view from the Master Bedroom!
Beaches, restaurants, bars and supermarkets are all close by.
Fantastic spot to spend a week!
