About this house rental

Delightful holiday cottage that sleeps 6 and backs onto a beautiful reserve where the children can play cricket or football to their hearts content.

Sit on the deck and watch them or just sit and enjoy the coastal lifestyle and have a BBQ. The back garden that leads to the reserve would be wonderful for those hide and seek games.

In the winter, our home is lovely and cosy with the AC doubling as a heater. It has an amazing grass area to bring your own portable firepit, situated safely away from the house and trees, it's the perfect spot to roast marshmallows in those colder months.

This cottage has everything you need to make a lovely holiday, 3 bedrooms - queen in the main, queen in the second and a single plus a trundle in the third.

There is a large bathroom with a full-size bath plus an extra toilet.
The cottage has reverse cycle air conditioning, and a large lounge room with TV. The modern kitchen is well set up with both a microwave and a dishwasher.

This is a truly beautiful spot, once you get to the back of the yard you can walk straight through the reserve to the beach which is only a 10 minute walk away.

There is also a garage for your car.

Bookings are for a minimum of 2 nights throughout the year and weekly over the Christmas/January Holidays. Linen is included.

This property is a very comfortable place to go to in Kiama. Well appointed, nicely furnished at a really good rate. Would certainly go there again the next time when going to Kiama. Great cottage for a family of five. Clean and functional. Kiama a great place to base a family holiday with Jambaroo action park, Illawarra sky walk, Minnamurra rainforest, and beaches all within about half hour. We really enjoyed our stay.

My family had a lovely two night stay. Everything was exactly as advertised, very clean and tidy, our home away from home. A great place to stay with an easy drive to Jamberoo Park and a quick drive into town!

Over all we were very happy with the accommodation, the cottage was very clean and is in a lovely location. The only suggestion I might offer relates to the kitchen knives, they were not very sharp and there was no serrated bread knife which made it difficult to slice loaves. Other than that all other needs were catered for.

I took my 3 girls on our annual daddy/daughter getaway and it was just the right size to accommodate us all. A very close walk to the beach through the backyard. Located on a quiet street. Had everything you need to cook if you want to and a lovely deck out the back for a bbq while kids played in the garden.

We really enjoyed staying at this house. Unfortunately the weather was raining but because of the large space we had it was more than manageable. The kids toys were a nice bonus for our small children as well. The only drawback was the back balcony which didn’t have a door to stop my toddler but otherwise was an excellent place to stay.

Good house but cleanliness was wanting . Cleaners had not vacuumed window sill with dead flies all over it . Toilets had dried urine on seat . Laundry tub had Unknown matter in it. Rest of house was VERY good . landlord should change cleaners as $100 was NOT good value

The house is large and well equipped for family stay. I liked the duo functions of aircon and heater in the living room which I turned on heater in the morning as it was still cold for us when we woke up during our stay. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped for simple meal cooking. The shortcut from the backyard to the beach is a nice walk without driving. Overall, my family and I enjoy our stay at the house.

A quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, my family enjoyed the property, we loved the backyard that flows to the reserve and creek surrounded by trees and walkway that leads to a park and just a few minutes walk to the beach. Ruth was very helpful with communicating, and giving all the information about what's close by and cafes and all. Thank you

Stayed at this property with family over four days. We thoroughly enjoyed the space and vibe the property provided. Located close to town yet in a quiet neighbourhood overlooking a tranquil park. All the features we could ever need were provided, my parents commenting how important the property was to the enjoyment of our trip. We would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a fully equipped home in a central yet relaxing location.

It was a great stay in a lovely relaxed location, 25 mins walk from Kiama central. The property was as it said it would be, comfortable beds. A bit cold at the time we went but heaters available so no issue. Only marked down as we tried to communicate with the owner twice about a possible early check-in and we didn't hear back. Although when we arrived 2 hours early the keys were already in the key box and the house was ready, so we did get an early check in anyway. Which was great! All in all very happy with the stay.

Great character property to stay at for a family with loads of space and a wonderful quiet setting. Everything you need is provided and the deck is huge for a BBQ. Ruth is a great host who was very responsive to any queries and provided all the information needed.

Great little house for a good price. Reasonably close to everything. Unfortunately we had some terrible weather and could not access the beach through the reserve at the back of the house which would have been great. Back deck is great but would have been ideal if it was covered. Over all it is exactly what is described, price is good and Ruth was very helpful even getting us a new microwave promptly when the old one wasn't working.

We were quite unfortunate with plenty of rain so needed to spend a lot of time indoors. The books and toys were a hit with our 20month old! Ruth was a very responsive host. The house and yard were spacious!

Property ideally situated with a 10 min walk to Kendall’s beach. House has a lovely backyard and deck with direct access to Native gardens. Everything you could need included to make your stay easy and enjoyable.

We have been coming to Kiama for over 25 years and this has been one of the best spots we've stayed. So many great features that you don't often get in rentals- a terrific tv (always good at tennis time), coffee machine, air cons in every room, great bbq etc. Hopefully not too many people read this review and it doesn't get fully booked for next time!
