We love to stay at this townhouse. It is our favorite at Harbor Village and in the Manistee/Onekama area. It is always clean, inviting, and has all the amenities needed for a wonderful Michigan vacation. The property managers are so easy to communicate with and truly desire renters to have a wonderful, worry free stay. The unit itself is beautifully decorated with beautiful outdoor views from all sides. We will visit again and again!

This is a great property! We accommodated all family members and hosted two larger family dinners. The indoor and outdoor pools were a hit. Good family restaurants, brew house and ice cream in town. We enjoyed the fireworks and 4th parade!

Very happy with our stay. Everything was as listed and the condo is very well equipped. 5 minutes to the beach.

We were very pleased with the size of the rental, the condition, and the amenities. The bunk area, even though a loft type space, was fine for kids and was isolated enough from the downstairs that noise was not at all an issue. It was great for a family gathering . We utilized the indoor community pool. The location was convenient for walking to both the beach and to town.

We love staying at this unit! it is our favorite rental in all of Harbor Village. It has wonderful views from both the front and the back, while still feeling private and quiet. The unit is beautifully decorated. The rooms are spacious and the unit is welcoming and well maintained. We feel at home the minute we walk in the door. It has everything you could need on vacation including bikes and beach chairs. It is a close walk to the harbor, pool and beach. The owners are so easy to communicate with and we have found they truly desire our stays in Manistee to be wonderful. We will return again and again. We appreciate these owners and their beautiful unit!

The property has a community indoor and outdoor pool and is minutes from the beach! There is a pirate ship playground, fire pit, and volleyball court directly in front of the condo. The house has plenty of room! Kids love the bunk beds. We love this place!

Nice place, clean, close to great Lake Michigan beach, quiet neighborhood with pool and playground. Reasonably priced. Really enjoyed our stay.

We are frequent visitors to Manistee -it is has a special place in our hearts as our Mom’s family originated in this beautiful little town. Over the years, we have stayed in many units in Harbor Village so expectations were high. We were not disappointed. Beautiful. Clean. Convenient. Well Maintained. Kid friendly. These are just a few words that fit perfectly. Being directly across from the tot park and close (but not on the lake) was perfect for our 4 grandkids under 7 (and their parents). We also enjoyed an evening of a bonfire and quiet. The unit was very clean and stocked with most of what we needed. Renters should know that the bunk-bed space is NOT private and any activity happening on the main level can and will be disruptive to little ones (or anyone) who go to bed earlier in the evening. Maybe I missed that detail and we worked through it eventually but I would have like to have prepared for that. The baby gates noted in the listing were not functional (at least we couldn’t get them to work). We went and bought our own because you absolutely cannot let an 18 mon old roam with the stair situation. Also there was not a single washcloth or hand towel to be found in the unit. (Again - went and bought our own) Plenty of bath towels. The tv in the bunk area did not work as a tv or for video games. I read that in a previous review before we went. I assumed it would have been fixed but it was not. As a group of 9 -plus we had other family visitors - we generated some trash. Unfortunately when we arrived the one trash can at the unit was completely full. I felt bad about leaving our stuff behind out of the can but we had no choice. Not sure there is much you can do about that other than to have options of off-site disposal. Full disclosure-we did not contact the owner about any of our concerns during our stay. Didn’t think it rose to that level. All of that aside -it was an ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL stay. Our Mom would have loved the place! Thank you!

Condo has everything you need and plenty of space. Right near the playground for small kids and close to the pool (indoor and outdoor). Stayed with kids and adults and we all enjoyed.

We stayed at this property over Christmas and it was perfect. The kids loved the bunk beds and the playground is right outside the door. We had a cozy fire pit on Christmas Eve, again located across the street from the unit, super close. A wonderful stay!

The place is even better than the pictures. Clean, open, spacious and lovely, great views from every window. Balconies from just about every room, a peaceful bubbling brook out back. Serenity and so close to the big lake. Nicely stocked with anything you might need, even a box fan in the garage. Don’t hesitate to stay!

We stayed in Harbor Village to visit grandparents who live in Manistee. The condo was clean and beautifully decorated. The Kitchen was well stocked and a joy to use. The condo location close to the pool and playground right out front was perfect for our kids. We would absolutely stay here again. The only thing not perfect were the blinds in the bunk room area, as one was missing and the others are very thin- letting in lots of early morning light so kids were up early! For us the bunks were great for kids, but adults found the lower bunk mattress not comfortable. Overall it was a lovely place. Communication with Zach was easy and he was very helpful. We found the wifi fast enough for zoom and streaming.

This condo has great location. It is a walk to the pool or a walk to the beach. Harbor Village is well-maintained and is beautiful. The process of booking this day was very easy and the owners of the condo are great with communication if you ever need anything!

This was our third time staying at this townhouse. We will continue to go back because it is the best place to stay in Harbor Village. The views, both from the front and the back are wonderful, the location is close to everything, and the townhouse is decorated beautifully and is taken care of very well. We have stayed with our adult children and grandchild, as well as by ourselves and each time it has provided a feeling of peace and comfort amid the beauty of the western Michigan shoreline. All of the amenities at Harbor Village are great! It's close to the beach, has both indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzi and exercise room. Manistee is a short drive or pleasant walk and has numerous restaurants to enjoy. You cannot beat the peace and beauty of this area and this unit!

Stayed for a week and had a wonderful time. Pictures of the place a accurate and it is very beautiful. Had everything we needed (cooking supplies, grill, bikes, inflatable rafts, high chair, comfy beds, laundry, dishwasher, indoor and outdoor pool, playground, high chair, beach chair, board games, video games, and so much more) we had a great time. Easy to communicate with host and good location to the fifth street beach and playgrounds. Went to ludington and and traverse city on day trips and was good location for those as well. Thanks for having us.

Had a wonderful stay with family and friends at Zach's place in Manistee! Nice views, located across from a playground which is great with young kids and the place is very well-kept and well-stocked! Zach was very responsive! We will be back again.

We had a very enjoyable time in this beautiful condo. Well stocked kitchen (knives, cutting boards, utensils, paper towels, soap, dishwasher soap, etc.) Beautifully decorated and clean, except that I kept finding long black hairs throughout the week. (We are a family of blonds, so was def not our hair!) Beds were comfortable and extra blankets appreciated. The bunk room is great, though blackout curtains would’ve been wonderful...it gets bright early and my kids don’t sleep well once they see the rising sun. Thankfully we didn’t need every bed and were able to put one child on the pullout in the basement so he would sleep past 6 am bc that room is dark and windowless. We had trouble with figuring out the bunk room tv—which was frustrating. My husband is quite techy, so if he had trouble, I can imagine others not able to get it to work at all. It was very disappointing to my kids, who were so excited to have their own tv (and while we weren’t there to watch tv, we play hard and enjoy our down time—and were paying for/expecting these amenities). We had similar trouble with the basement tv. Not the owner’s fault, but the cords for the controllers were missing, so we were unable to watch the tv or use the PS3. My husband ordered new cables bc our boys were so bummed about this, and by midweek we were able to make use of this tv at our own expense. We left the cables behind so future renters hopefully do not have this problem, but were not compensated for the cables or the inconvenience. Overall, we loved our stay. We were together with family in a beautiful location and enjoyed the pool and beach daily. The location of the playground right across the street was a plus too...our kids loved it. Last time we stayed (in a different condo) this playground was old/run-down, so it was nice that it had been redone and was safe and usable!

We stayed here for a week in June and it was wonderful. We are a family of 5 with 3 young kids and this place was perfect for us. The host was communicative and the place was very clean and in a great location. The pools and gym were closed so that would really be my only complaint, and that was out of the host’s hands. We had a great time and would definitely recommend.

Great stay here. Kitchen fully stocked and plenty of room. Walking distance to beach. Highly recommend!

With three well decorated levels this is a great place to stay. Our family loved the open layout of the main level with spacious dining, living and kitchen. hope to rent this place next visit.

This is our third stay here and we were happy with everything! Owner is always easy to contact and clear about expectations. The home is clean, has everything you need. Love the area property with the close beach, clean pools (indoor pool perfect for uncooperative weather).

Very nice place to stay with great site amenities. Exterior of building not well maintained. No adult LifeVests were available for the provided kayaks, which led to a citation by the Manistee County Water Police, when kayaking by the beach (Ugh!) . Overall though a very good stay. I would come back.

We really enjoyed our stay. The three story condo was clean, well equipped, and had a lot of space. The property is a 2-3 minutes drive to the shops in downtown Manistee, and also a 10 minute walk or short drive to the 5th street beach. We also spent plenty of time at the heated outdoor pool which was a short walk away. I would echo other reviews which say it’s much cooler in the bottom floor, but that was not a problem as we mainly were downstairs for laundry and at bedtime. Zachary was also responsive and very easy to deal with. We would definitely stay there again.

This condo was fantastic! It was so roomy and very well stocked with linens and towels and we found everything we needed. Beautiful decor, appliances and amenities. The location was perfect and it was definitely a winner.

This was our second time staying at "Life on the Lake!" We just love this place and felt so comfortable staying in this beautiful townhouse! The owners have done a fantastic job decorating and taking care of this unit and providing everything you could need or want! It's location is one of the best, overlooking the harbor in front, and beautiful pond and yard out back! The owner is very considerate, communicative and interested in your well being and stay in Manistee! Looking forward to stay #3!
