The resort is a special one, benefiting from an exceptional location, in the northern end of the town (Old Sarti), in close proximity to the promenade area where, especially in the evening, tourists come to enjoy the view of the resort, from the height of the rocks. The view is superb, even on the lower levels, with all rooms facing the sea which is about 20-30 meters away. The beach is secluded and, due to the shape of the land (being bounded at one end by a high rock formation), creates a somewhat intimate, golf atmosphere. The rooms are properly furnished and equipped (kitchenette, refrigerator, air conditioning, TV, coffee maker, bathroom with window, etc.), being quite spacious and benefiting from a small balcony (with table, chairs and umbrella). Regarding the services, the following should be mentioned: - the host (Ana) is very, very kind and speaks English fluently; - cleanliness is good; - the internet signal (wi-fi) is acceptable, at the level usually offered in the resort; - bottled water for cooking and consumption, as well as capsules for the coffee machine in the room, are provided free of charge; - the resort offers, for each individual room, an umbrella and two sunbeds on the nearby beach (at no additional cost). The area is relatively quiet, benefiting from the proximity of shops, taverns, terraces and other places to spend free time. It should be specified that the access to the area is through very narrow streets (some becoming pedestrian paths during the evening), and the parking spaces are public and quite few. However, I always found a place right next to the resort without any particular problems. In the end, I recommend this location and appreciate that it is worth a visit.

If you want to relax and feel like at your home vacation Almare Seaside is the place. It was one of our best holiday. The hotel is spotless clean. We stayed at the ground floor and from the room we step right on the hotel beach. The hotel is great, the view and the vibe is amazing.The tavernas and shops are nearby. We checked all Sarti town and Almare is the only hotel right on the beach. We travel quite often and you can find around the world some great hotels but until now we didn't found a host/owner like Anna. We felt like in our home. She is so passionate in all what she is doing and she really paying attention to details. Always giving the best information and she wants you to feel like her family guest. We are really counting the days to come back.

I loved the place, the best place I ever stayed, if I could....I would give it 10 stairs! The owener Anna went out of her way to make our stay exceptional! I would love to come back again! Very generous, kind and loved the presents and the way she took care of us, in every detail! I highly recomend this place! You have a wonderful view with your own private beach! The food in the area is great too! Thank you very much for this great great stay! We can not thank you Anna enough and her stuff and family too!

Definitely the best place for staying in Sarti!

We completely loved our nice host Martha!!! Every morning we had tasty breakfast for free and nice conversation) It's warmest memories of staying at Sitonia and the best place in Sarti!

A relaxing, beachfront stay with wonderfully warm hospitality!

Martha, the owner, is so lovely - she looked after us like we were family. Her daughter Anna speaks good English. Breakfast is not charged - something different is given as a gift each day, it's always delicious, and always more than enough...such a kind touch! Great modern shower with lots of room, and a really comfortable bed to fall asleep in to the sound of the sea just outside your door! A great base to explore all the amazing beaches in the area. We hope to be back!

I think this is the best location in Sarti. Very close to the center. The belvedere point to perfectly see the sun rising above mount Athos is right next to the property and the beach is literally a few meters away from the terrace of the room. You can literally feel the waves spray while drinking your coffee on the terrace which is very nice. The complimentary breakfast was the nicest surprise, every morning there was a different delicious surprise served along with something sweet.

It would have been a lot more helpful to have someone in the staff speaking more than minimal basic English. However we were there in extra season, it could be that in season there are more persons in staff also speaking English.

The place was magnificent. I met and surpassed all our expectations. First, the location of the appartment was right on the beach, with it's own natural cove. Seperated from the main beach in Sarti so teh beach goers were mainly from our appartment building. Second, the owner was very nice and supportive of all our needs. Third, the magnigicent view. You could see the beach , the sea and, the mystical moutain of Athos. Basically the best location I have been to and believe me, I have been to many beautiful place in the world and this one was the best.

Great location, right in front of the beach and close to everything. It was quiet, room with sea view is perfect . Clean rooms equipped with all you may need . We had a sun rise view over Mt Athos from our balcony. this building is next to viewpoint to Mt Athos Complimentary Greek breakfast with dessert every day . Highly recommend place and Sarti as such .

That was very nice holiday. Location is perfect, owner is so nice. The view from apartment is amazing. Beach with sunbed is perfect. Breakfast is very good (local dishes) and the portion is so big :). Parking is a front of apartment. I recomend.

I think that the sun umbrella on the balcony is a little bit too small and in the morning there was to hot

Great place and excellent location. The hotel has it`s own private beach and it`s cozy and comfortable. Parking could be an issue as there is not always place in front of the place but you can alwasy find a parking spot in a nearby street.

the owner is arrogant and has an attitude issue (it is always the customer fault) the place is cleaned in a rush. i found at least 5 spiders on the celling together with it's net :)))... that is a place that needs cleaning as well. also the owner tries to ammend issues by giving you stuff for free as that should cover the initial issue.

Fantastic appartment! The location is great, right on the beautiful hidden beach (you have your own sunbeds and umbrella)! They even serve complimentary breakfast, which was a nice surprise. The host Anna was very friendly and helped us with everything that we needed. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Sarti.

Ahhmm… where to start first… perfect and very kind owner - Anna. Location - if there an 11 it deserve it - opening the door making 5 steps and you are @ the beach - which is private for the hotel guests. Very quite place - you will hear only the sea but just a 2min walk from village center. Every morning there was a hand made complementary breakfast which was very very nice and delicious. Sometimes the internet do have a mind of its own, but this is the least thing you may need in such a lovely place.

The only thing I didn’t like was that I’ve book only 5 days… I wish my plans was for at least 20!

Best location in Sarti

Al mare is a brand new block of apartments with a fabulous view over the sea to Mount Athos and across the bay of Sarti. We loved the private beach with our designated sunbeds and the breakfast treats delivered free of change each morning. Easy walking distance to numerous restaurants cafes and bars in the centre of Sarti.

Rather awkward to have to check in by phone (because there is no reception area)

We had a great time!

We liked the fact that we were able to enjoy the see view from our room and terrace. There was enough space for our luggages and we had a free delicious breakfast brought to us by host`s mother.

The wifi was not the best and we had some problems with the AC but our host eventually solved them.

Beautiful place and beautiful people

The view from the Appartement was breathtaking. There are no words to describe it. You just have to be there by yourself. The owner and the staff was really friendly. Every morning we had a homemade delicious Breakfast, which was everyday something different. So you stated the day with a little surprise. We also hat an umbrella and two Shezlongs at the Beach in front of the hotel. It was just perfect.

Our Balcony was a little too small for the furniture ( The chairs were really big, and everyone should move if you wanted to go inside) But there where also other rooms with a huge balcony. In one of the Appartment where we stayed there was lots of stairs inside because of the loft Bedroom. This isn't that practical if you are traveling, as we did, with a little Kid.

Wake up and get this fantastic view has no price, the best place I stayed - so amazing!

It was AMAAAAZING, I and my wife was the happiest people in the world when waking up and seeing this amazing beach and view. The owner was soo kind and gave us home made breakfast everyday, the flat was supper clean, the air condition was working just as I like, really nice shower and the best location ever, we could just walk 2 mins to be in the center where all the best restaurants are. Anyways I could stay all night here explaining how amazing they are.
