We have just stayed here and had a lovely time. The location is ideal for seeing many areas of Northumberland. Amble itself is fairly quiet, but picturesque. We had a nice meal at the Taj Mahal and the ice cream parlour, Spurelli’s is delicious 😋
Great communication from the host.
Would definitely recommend

We loved our stay here, the views from the top of the house made it worth the climb. The kitchen was very well equipped for all our needs. We enjoyed being able to walk into Amble from the house. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely property with enough space for our family of five and my parents. Clean on arrival and friendly accessible hosts pre and during stay. Living room views were lovely! Amble just a short walk away and Warkworth Castle five minutes drive. Well worth a visit. Would definitely stay again.

This architecturally interesting house is a well-equipped and comfortable home in the lovely coastal town of Amble. It has dramatic views of the coast in one direction and over the fields to Warkworth and its castle in the other direction. Between the property and the coast is the marina and a lovely patch of common land with hunting barn owls at dusk and dog walkers and runners during the day. It is an easy walk into town where there are good restaurants and several food shops. If we visit this part of England in the future we will certainly hope to stay here again.

The property is fab - spacious, clean, really well stocked, great games selection, super views - and the location ideal for both local exploration in Amble and Warkworth and across the wider county. Top class process to book and very responsive hosts.

We were a party of seven including two grannies ant two grandchildren aged 10 and 11. There was loads of space in the house for everyone. The kitchen was fully equipped and the living room was stocked with family friendly games. It was a great place to get together. Amble was lovely with good restaurants. We went to La Famiglia and Taj Mahal, Warkworth Castle was fun and Druridge Bay dramatic. Northumberland has a lot to offer further afield too. Stephen and Sally were very clear communicators and left a much appreciated goodies basket for us on arrival.

We had a lovely week in this fabulous spacious house! The top floor is wonderful and children spent time each day with binoculars watching the boats come and go and the wildlife. Great facilities, nice touches, everything we needed. The welcome pack (especially the tea and wine!) was much appreciated. Very good communication with hosts with helpful updates regarding check-in and check-out times, thank you! We made good use of the table tennis, a hit with all three generations, and found the house to be well-located for visiting beaches and castles nearby. We'd stay again! Thank you for providing a perfect holiday home.

We loved our stay here. It was the perfect house for two families with teenagers in an ideal spot for exploring the Northumberland coast. Amble is a nice little town to stroll in to with a lovely harbour, there are fantastic bike rides and walks from the door, it's an easy drive up the coast to glorious beaches or a good walk to the beach at Warkworth. The house is brilliant - spacious, comfortable and relaxed - the table tennis entertained us for hours when we weren't out and about. The host was super helpful and friendly and it was an all-round fantastic experience.

We had a lovely stay in Sally’s property. It had everything we needed to cater for our long weekend. It was very well equipped with a very thoughtful welcome pack of key essentials such as Prosecco and crisps which we happily consumed on the balcony in the sun.
The layout of the property meant you got to enjoy the harbour views from the living room at the top of the house.
The walk into Amble itself via the path to the harbour was only 10 mins meaning all amenities were on the doorstep and the mile walk up to the next town was perfect to just head somewhere else for a change of scene.
Would highly recommend this property and would stay again.

The house is superb and suited our family perfectly, with a great location on the edge of Amble next to the river Coquet and a 25 minute walk to Warkworth, the most beautiful village in North East England.
The owners, Stephen & Sally who went out of their way to make our long weekend a perfect break for all of us. Their attention to detail and generosity with both their time (getting the property ready for us hours earlier) and the gifts for my wife & our 10 month old grandaughter demonstrated the best that anyone could expect.
Thank you for a lovely weekend in Amble.

Beautifully furnished and decorated. It seems nothing is too much trouble for the owners, who are very pleasant.
As far as kitchen equipment goes, they supply everything you would need so don't bring anything. Sauces, condiments, cleaning stuff, loo rolls, hand soaps, cling film, foil - all supplied.
Plenty of nice glassware, crockery and cutlery. cooking facilities (oven, hob and microwave) are great and easy to understand.
Our 2 boys just loved the table tennis table in the garage.
Beds really comfortable with good quality quilts and great pillows.
Heating worked well. Plenty of very comfortable seating both in the kitchen and lounge. Loo flushes are difficult to operate but not impossible for adults.
Location is close to the marina and harbour with Alnwick only 20 mins away.
Lots of family games and dvd's supplied too.
Be aware, if you have elderly family members - the kitchen is ground floor and lounge is at the top on the second floor so make sure they can cope well with stairs.
Really pleased we chose this house - thank you

5 star luxury
Large, beautifully presented and incredibly well-equipped home from home made for a memorable holiday in this great location in a relatively unspoilt part of the country.
We loved watching a barn owl swoop over the Braid each evening so the binoculars were a welcome addition.

Easter Family Get-Together
What a wonderful welcoming home. Unspoilt views across to the Marina, within easy walking distance to the village for all you need. Had an excellent meal at The Old Boathouse on the harbour where there are also quirky little retail pods. We were very lucky with the weather so ventured out to the many nearby towns, including Alnwick and Holy Island. The house was like a home from home. Very comfortable and relaxing. Communication with the owners was excellent who also provided a lovely welcome pack. We will be recommending this home to all our friends to experience this wonderful part of Northumberland. We were lucky enough to be staying during a fantastic firework display on The Braid and had the most amazing view from the balcony. We also managed to briefly see the local resident Barn Owl on our last evening.

Comfortable stay in an excellent location.
The property was clean, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. The location was ideal for visiting Northumberland and we particularly liked the upstairs lounge with the view over The Braid to the Marina. Loved bird-watching - the local blackbird with white throat and white wing was a surprise!

Fabulous October break
The house is in the perfect location for exploring the Northumberland coastline and beyond.
The house itself was an absolute treat, with a great layout, wonderful views from the dual aspect top floor living room with its huge sofa and Amazon fire-stick for the TV (great for teenagers), for four very comfortable bedrooms and a well appointed kitchen/ground floor lounge.
The house contained everything we needed and the welcome basket was a nice touch.
The communication with hosts Stephen and Sally was also first class.
We will definitely be booking again.
