Salt Spring Art Retreat was a well-appointed, clean, cozy and lovely place to stay. In fact, my friends and I are so impressed that we're all planning to come back with our families. Highly recommend!

Salt Spring is a pretty property featuring some interesting artworks in a lovely treed area. Screens blocked off the other properties very well. Although close to a main road you do tune out the road noise. The cottage we were in did have many stairs and no walk in shower which our 83 year old mum found a challenge. It had a simple kitchen and was a nicely appointed property for our short break. The hot tub was great. We had a quick response to a question we had about accessing the property. Definitely for adults!

This cabin is such an amazing place to stay. It looks even better in person than in the photos and the location is great too. We will definitely be back!

SISTERS WEEKEND
Fantastic location to stay in Daylesford. Short walk to the fabulous Mill and lovely bushwalking tracks in and around Lake Daylesford. The birdlife was great and we met and fed the resident kookaburras. Interesting property built from mainly secondhand/recycled materials but nothing lacking in presentation and comforts.

Tranquil, arty and quirky
Our stay at Salt Springs couldn't have come at a better time. With COVID-19 restrictions eased slightly in Victoria we took the opportunity to get our of Melbourne for some much-needed rest and relaxation and this property did just that. The outdoor spa was a real highlight, offering us the opportunity to enjoy the fresh air, the view and warm hot bubbles. The house itself was very cool inside with a quirky 90s industrial art feel. The house was well heated as well so we never felt cold. In all, a great place to stay, quiet and private. We'll be back for sure.

Quirky eco friendly property, close to town.
We stayed at Salt Springs for a girl's weekend break for one night. The place was clean, warm and cosy on arrival. Lots of recycled timbers and metal work as a feature. Lovely decorated rooms and cosy beds. Small kitchen and bench to eat. Only one bathroom/toilet. Cosy lounge suite, although TV/DVD did not work, batteries old, and no trouble shooting instructions available. I replaced the batteries (at my expense) and it would still not work! This was quite annoying. Lovely surroundings otherwise, garden, lake etc. Very dark at night, and steep gravel walk to steps made it more suitable for Adults than a young family.

Stylish property in lovely surroundings
We stayed only one night, but it was very pleasant, despite the weather. We arrived on a cold miserable day, but inside it was quite warm for most of the time, although I feel the cold and found the dining area and upper bedroom a bit chilly- however for most times of the year this wouldn't be an issue. Lovely surroundings and deck (which weather prevented us from using). Comfortable beds. Steep steps between the dining/bathroom area and living/lower bedroom make make it difficult for anyone with a mobility problem. Otherwise I would thoroughly recommend.

Great little find
We snapped up two nights at the end of Easter - which was a lucky find. It was lovely. Nice, relaxed surroundings. Rustic decor and tastefully furnished. Bush setting was lovely too.

Lovely property with lots of cool artwork. King bed downstairs was super comfy. Property was very clean, and owners very accommodating. Property manager is also very helpful, as I got lost when arriving. She was only a phone call away, and very helpful.
