About this cottage rental

Cavalier Cottage, at Ruby Dog on B Street, is one of the most private spots here in the heart of St. Augustine Beach. This two bedroom / one bath unit is perfect for families traveling with their dog. Cavalier Cottage has a private fenced in backyard, with a patio area, in addition to the newly landscaped and fenced in front yard. The deck has a large teak table and is the ideal spot for a family dinner or lunch after a long morning on the beach.

The cottage has an open floor plan with the kitchen and living room together as one large space. The living room has plenty of seating with two couches and a cozy chaise lounge too. The completely renovated kitchen features quartz countertops, a huge island with seating, all new appliances and everything you will need to prepare, cook and enjoy meals while here at the beach. The cottage has a large flat screen TV for you to enjoy a wide variety of Comcast cable offerings. Both of the bedrooms have brand new queen mattresses and linens. Cavalier Cottage also has a twin size cot, which can be set up too. The completely remodeled bathroom features a tub with shower, all new towels and a large vanity with storage.

Ruby Dog on B is only one house off of the beach so access to the beach and ocean is just a few steps away. We provide beach towels and chairs for our guests to use during their stay with us and an outdoor shower to rinse off when returning from the beach. We have laundry area with washer and dryer on site as well
Ruby Dog on B Street has a total of three separate units. Winston, Scarlett, and Cavalier Cottage can either be rented independently or in combination, depending on availability. Also within walking distance are several restaurants, shopping options, coffee shops, and miniature golf. The historic downtown area is an easy ten minute drive north on A1A past the Lighthouse and over the Lions Bridge.

Perfect beach cottage! Location is great as you can easily access the beach as well as the main roadway for grocery and restaurants! Space is very dog friendly as the cottage has a fenced front and back yard.

My wife and I stayed for our anniversary. Great location for walking to the beach. The included chairs and beach towels were very handy since we had to fly to get there. Lots of nearby eating and drinking options within a block or two. Nice quiet street right off the main road. Private yard with fences and large plants/landscaping. We will certainly stay again if we ever return to St. Augustine for vacation.

This is the perfect location. Literally one house away from the beach. The house is a cozy cottage well stocked with everything you need. There is a fenced yard perfect for pups.

Our family (2 adults, 2 teens, & dog) all had a wonderful stay at the Cavalier Cottage! The cottage was perfectly appointed inside and out. The yard was such a bonus for our pup and for relaxing. Proximity to the beach and local eateries is ideal. We love St. Augustine Beach and will return soon. Special thanks to our host, Morgan, for his hospitality!

This is our favorite place to stay at stay Augustine beach. Morgan comes and greets you at the rental and offers to help you unload your luggage. The place is immaculate, the location is within walking distance to some of our favorite restaurants. We have stayed here before and will stay again the next time we visit St. Augustine beach!!!

This cute cottage was just what we needed to get away for a long weekend (clean, cozy and close to everything) and bonus the front and backyard was fenced in so that my pup, Rudy could run around the yard without worry! Rudy’s first beach trip was a success and we will definitely be staying here again. Our host, Morgan was also helpful, nice and even met us when we checked in! I can’t wait until I’m able to return.

We had a great Christmas respiet in this beautiful home. We brought our Yorkie "Ramona" with us. It was quite and peaceful and so the dog was well behaved. The owner and property manage were always in communication with us and helped whenever needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this how without reservations.

This place is so close to the beach, as well as to many places to eat. The kitchen space is great - nice and open for entertaining. We took our two little dogs and they really enjoyed the backyard. The unit is also located on a side street so safe for animals and little children (little to no traffic). The property manager/owner Morgan was great to work with! I'd definitely recommend this rental. The upstairs bedroom is in a loft with steep stairs so may not be great for everyone that needs a second bedroom. Worked out perfectly for us!

Loved the unit and honestly loved our experience. Morgan was very responsive and met us at our property for check-in. Wonderful secure yard space for our dogs, and the cottage was adorable. We love the B Street location and will definitely look for availability here for future rental needs.

We love the Cavalier Cottage. The location is unbeatable. Walking distance to all the best places beachside. The space is so quaint and liveable. The updated kitchen and bathroom is such a nice space throughout your stay. It really allows you to take advantage of all the perks for the cottage. Of course, we love the backyard for our pup. Which is always well maintained and spacious! Will definitely be back.

I stayed there with my husband and our dog and we enjoyed it very much! Morgan is an excellent host! Great communication and always fast response! The cottage was nice and clean and beautifully decorated! Just a few steps to the beautiful beach and amazing view! Sunrise there was spectacular and every day looked different! I have good memories now and it makes me happy!

What a wonderful little cottage. Everything was clean, and nice, loved all the windows. The beach is only steps away and old Saint Augustine. Is only a few minute drive. Morgan, the owner, was wonderful to work with. Would definitely stay here again. If you’re into fishing, Sea love charters are the way to go.

Great little place in a great location. Nice private yard, clean and spacious inside, well stocked kitchen with all appliances, dishes and even a blender to make morning smoothies. A few short steps and you're walking on beach sand down to the absolutely beautifully quiet ocean beach. Morgan is a pleasure to meet and talk to. Always there to respond to texts about anything. It was a perfect trip and this place was a big part of making it that way. The kind of place you don't really want to review because you want to keep this little treasure to yourself. 😉

Spent a few weeks in Florida after Christmas and concluded our vacation here. We travel with our two small dogs and wanted a place they could feel comfortable at so decided on this cozy vacation rental. It was perfect for us. The carriage house is adorable and located a few steps from a beautiful dog friendly beach. The rental was adorable and clean with all the amenities you would need to cook meals and enjoy your vacation with no stress. We would highly recommend this place and hope to return some day.

We LOVED our stay at the cottage. Super clean, well-equipped, private, quiet and very close to the ocean. Morgan was a wonderful host--great communication and available with any questions. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. We plan to return ASAP!!!
