About this apartment rental

Hello.

Our apartment is a small but perfectly formed new 1 bed apartment in great Zone 1 location with easy access to multiple transport links. For us the location is perfect. It's walkable to many of London's key sites and there is also Cycle Hire closeby so its possible to avoid public transport too often.

When making your enquiry please provide as much information as possible like where you are travelling from, proposed arrival time if known, who the guests will be and your purpose of visit etc. Thanks.

Our apartment is only available at certain periods of the year, Christmas, Easter and some of the summer etc. Sorry we do not offer a nightly rate and 5 nights would be the minimum stay. Please note we cannot accommodate very early or very late check-ins. From 3pm-8pm is our usual, please ask for anything outside of these hours. Providing there is no evidence of damage the deposit will be refunded within 24 hours of check out.

If you are interested in reserving a stay please get in touch and tell us a little more about your visit and required dates. We would be happy to answer any questions you may have.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Please note we will require a tenancy application to be completed and a rental agreement to be signed. Sorry no smoking or pets are allowed at the property.

CHECK IN from 3pm
CHECK OUT 11am unless otherwise agreed.

THE APARTMENT

The flat itself is a newly built one bed with modern facilities and parquet flooring throughout. The apartment would be most suited to couples or individuals, a maximum of 2 people. Please note the property is on the first floor, there is a small flight of stairs leading to the entrance (about 12 steps), there is no lift. We have high speed unlimited WI FI.

Please note the location is central London but it's still quiet at nights and weekends. The flat itself is located above an admin office but they do not start work early or create any noise.

There is no allocated parking in the area. We do not recommend driving as parking and congestion charges are expensive but there are numerous options for public transport closeby.

Webber Street is only 5 mins walk from Waterloo and Southwark Stations and also close to Blackfriars for direct trains to both Gatwick and Luton Airports. Moments away are direct buses to Kings Cross St Pancras for Eurostar.

KITCHEN/LIVING AREA
includes oven/grill/hob, washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, TV/radio, bluetooth music speaker, unlimited WI-FI, sofa, dining table with 2 chairs. We do not have a coffee making machine but there is a small 4 cup cafetiere. (Sorry we do not have a microwave)

BEDROOM
Double bed, plenty of storage in drawers, small hanging space, hairdryer.

BATHROOM
bath/shower, heated towel rail, extractor fan etc

STORAGE CUPBOARD
Here you will find some additional hanging space and things like the ironing board, iron, hoover etc should you require them!

We will usually be available at check in to make sure you know how everything works, to hand over keys etc. We would not be present during your stay but around for any questions by phone/email.

We had a wonderful stay at Julie and Darren's flat. They were there to greet us and show us around, and giving some tips as well. The flat is exactly as pictured. Bed was very comfortable (and that's a big concern for me) and bathroom shower was large and had great pressure. Having the laundry and cooking facilities was a big plus as well. I think this area is very underrated. It was walkable to everything - London Eye, Westminster , Covent Garden etc. Two tube stops nearby, bus stops, lots of black cabs around to hire. Numerous dining options from higher end like The Hoxton or H10 Hotels with wonderful rooftop patios, to amazing street food and pizza on the Lower Marsh. We highly recommend!

This flat is ideal for a couple staying in London on holidays! It's bright and airy, with loads of windows, a big living/dining space with comfy furniture, and a very well-equipped kitchen (you could easily cook full meals if you want to). The TV has tons of free channels as well as radio, and there's a Bluetooth speaker for music. The bathroom is spacious and brightly lit with excellent water pressure from the shower. The bedroom is small, and the bed is only a double, but it's very comfy and there's a big dresser with room to store your clothes and personal items. There's also a washer/dryer if you need to do laundry. The hosts, Julie and Darrin, were absolutely fantastic and welcoming; they met us at the property to show us around and get settled, and were extremely responsive when we had an issue with the hot water, coming back and waiting around while the engineer fixed it so we could go on with our day in London and not miss anything. The neighbourhood is not fancy but we felt very safe, and the flat is set back from the street behind a courtyard, so it was quieter and more private than we expected. It's an easy walk from Waterloo and Southwark stations and there are tons of small grocery shops, cafes, and lovely restaurants nearby. We lacked for nothing! We'd love to return someday for another stay.

Julie and Darrin are excellent hosts. They met us at the apartment and went over a few basic functions and gave us great tips and recommendations. The bed was comfortable, there is great space in the bathroom and the kitchen was well equipped. The courtyard was nice to sit out on during the evening. The apartment is a short walk to public transportation and a quick 20-25 min walk to most sights. There are plenty of restaurants and 2 small grocery stores nearby. (We highly recommend The Ring for Thai food - odd to find authentic Thai food at a British Pub but it was fantastic!) We would highly recommend staying at Julie and Darrin's apartment!

Julie’s place was very nice! It was clean, comfortable, and in a good location. Julie was easy to communicate with and made the check in/ out process easy. The flat is walking distance to Borough Market. Most of the major sites in London are a quick ride on the underground away. I would recommend staying here.
