A little bit of paradise, beach house with ocean and lagoon on your doorstep. Unspoilt island in the heart of the Ria Formosa with amazing view on the lagoon and totally surrounded by beaches and ocean! Sleeps 7 (3 Bedrooms).

We have stayed in the homes of Dieter and Heidi several times and it never ever disappoints. The hosts are always super helpful and very easy to communicate with.
And as for the house, its 5*.
We stayed in this particular one a few years ago, not long after a refurb and in the tine since then the property has improved further.
Wonderfully located on the lagoon, it offers easy access to the lake, the Atlantic beaches, the ferry, the island grocery store and park and more. Its definitely one of the very best houses on the island. The house is clean, comfortable and finished to a very high standard. And nothing beats dinner with the wonderful sunsets on the patio. A wonderful property we’ll come back to again and again, hosted by amazing people.

Eb en vloed vlak voor je neus, rustgevende omgeving.
Zalig zitten van ochtendgloren tot zonsondergang met de wisselende lagune voor de deur. Bij laag water veel vogels gezien: strandlopertjes, soms een fouragerende ooievaar en heel vaak de kleine zilverreiger (natuurlijk!) Leuk dakterrasje met ligzetels en vlak naast de woning een beschutte zit- en ligplaats met douche. Heel aangenaam !

Ein traumhaftes Stückchen Erde
Wir waren 16 Tage bei Heidi und Dieter zu Gast - es war traumhaft. Das Haus und die Ausstattung perfekt! Der abendliche Sundowner auf der Terrasse oder auf dem Dach bleiben unvergesslich.
Wir hatten die Möglichkeit ein Stand up Paddel für unseren Aufenthalt zu mieten. Eine klasse Gelegenheit bei Flut durch die Gegend zu cruisen und viel Spaß zu haben.
Im Oktober ist die Insel traumhaft ruhig, das Wasser klar (und nicht sooo kalt) und die Tagestemperaturen um die 26 Grad. Für jüngere Kinder ist die Lagune vor dem Haus perfekt, denn es ist sehr seicht.
Wir können das Haus wärmstens empfehlen!

O duche da suite por arranjar durante toda a estadia, as portadas laterais estão velhas e não fecham e sugiro a colocação de umas cortinas nas janelas da sala/cozinha para se ter mais privacidade

No coração da Ria Formosa, é o local perfeito para nos voltarmos a sentir parte da natureza. Com todas as condições de conforto, a casa permite aproveitar a Ria e a praia, sem limitações de horários, sem multidões, sem poluição de qualquer tipo. Os proprietários são extremamente simpáticos e atenciosos. A repetir, mais vezes, ao longo do ano!

Das Haus liegt ideal direkt an der Ria Formosa. Es ist frisch renoviert und charmant eingerichtet. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Es fehlt eigentlich an nix. Die Sonnenuntergänge auf der Terrasse sind ein Spektakel, dass man unbedingt geniessen sollte. Jana hat uns sehr sympatisch empfangen. Es war perfekt - gerne wieder!

Mooi huis, prachtige plek, terrasmeubilair is verbeterpunt.
De ligging is top, evenals de inrichting en bouwkundige staat. Toch zijn er wel verbeterpunten:
Terrasmeubilair is een belediging voor de huurder. Oud en versleten plastic, geen kussens en een armzalige parasol ( wel vervangen nav klacht!). TV abonnement is goedkoopste vorm: 1 zender BRT 1
Putlucht in 1 badkamer, maar dat komt vaker voor. Kleine onvolkomenheden in de keukeninventaris ( afwasborstel, doekjes, 1e zeep voor afwasmachine, pannendeksel kapot, geen waterkoker)
Verder wel een heerlijke vakantie gehad!

great and modern house on a perfect location
The house is ideally located in a small bay, with a marvelous view! The house was clean and well equipped, big terrace and all the comfort you need. Besides the friendly service, it was the perfect place to stay with our 3 childeren; beach in front of the house and everything (ferry, supermarket, ...) in walking distance!

High spec cottage on rustic island
We have stayed on Armona many times now, always in different cottages and this one must be the highest spec on the Island. Underfloor heating in bathrooms, en-suite bathroom to the master bedroom, top quality fixtures and finishing touches. My wife and two children were very comfortable here and of course it has views that are out of this world. Dieter and Heidi are great hosts and a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating. The house is positioned on the lagoon which has the tide coming in twice daily. When the tide is out you can pick fresh clams in front of your cottage. Its close to the kids park and the little grocery store so it really is probably the best location on the Island. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bedrooms had the most comfortable beds we are yet to sleep in on Armona. Like their other house, once you stay here, you'll be dying to come back. We will.

Excellent sejour
En vacances pour 1 semaine sur l'île d armona nous avons adoré cet endroit. A cette époque l'île est tres calme. Peu de touristes. Un temps superbe. Certains se sont baigné car la mer est a 17'. Il y quelques commerces ouverts ou l on trouve beaucoup de choses.
La peche a été bonne.
Quant a la maison tout est parfait. Elle est idéalement située plein ouest a 10 mm a pied de l'embarcadère en face de la mer. Très bien équipée et bien décorée elle est adaptée pour 3 couples.
Sur place Jana nous a tres bien accueilli. Elle est tres sympatique car nous ne parlons pas le portugais et elle a fait pour nous les réservations de taxi et bateau taxi. Merci pour tout Jana.
